Recently renovated property. Nice accommodations. The front desk staff, both on arrival and departing, were very nice. Very upbeat and genuinely there to assist in whatever was needed. The hotel is three minutes away from the two big casinos, which is why we were there.

The room appeared to be very clean except for two things. * On the floor, between the bed and window wall near the headboard, it wasn't vacuumed. Several large food crumbs. * The handle on the cabinet above the stove had a very sticky, gummy residue. Neither problem was major since we didn't use that cabinet, or the floor in that corner area on that side of the bed.

I really liked the room. It was very roomy and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep well.

I did not like there was no breakfast. I had to leave the location to eat something. I asked for coffee and the front desk stated that there was coffee on the first floor. I had a coffee machine but no coffee in my room. I did not want to leave right away for coffee. So I had to put on clothes to get coffee downstairs instead of drinking my coffee in my pjs.

Staff was friendly. The location was great, and parking was easy, The guest room was spacious.

We were initially given a room on the first floor and discovered that the water didn't get hot. We reported the lack of hot water and were moved to the second floor. Also, the attendant at the front desk told me that the hotel is aware that the water doesn't get hot in the first-floor guest rooms.

The hotel had only been open for a couple of months, so everything was fresh and new. Close proximity to the two big casinos (and a short drive from Binnion's Horseshoe), which was the reason we were in Lake Charles. Also, being a block away from Loop 210, instead of being on Loop 210, was nice.

The "Now Open" factor showed in desk employees not being totally knowledgeable on their computer system. But I understood that everyone is new at some point, no matter the job. I'm sure they'll all be up to speed pretty quickly.

The room was comfortable. The hotel was clean and well-kept.

The business center is not a "center". It is a desk next to the front door out in the open. I booked here because of the business center, needing privacy for video virtual meetings

The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and had a mini kitchen which was really nice. For the most part I really liked the hotel.

The staff was incredibly rude. The receptionist got an attitude with us while we was loading our car to leave because he thought we weren’t going to check out and called us names. Mind you I was with my husband and three small kids. Very unprofessional.

I was informed by the desk clerk no complimentary breakfast will be served and there are restaurants near by. In-spite-of surrounding hotels offering complimentary breakfast, my husband would like to book another stay with Candlewood Suites.

Hotel appeared to be new in construction. This property was clean, nice and as described on Booking.com. Staff was friendly and environment was safe.

The "queen size" bed was more like a full sized bed and made sleeping very cramped with my spouse. This definitely was the smallest "queen size" bed I've ever slept in.

It was new, clean, spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Ample parking.

One elevator was broken, the other was very slow, and they didn't take my Discover card that I had used to book the room. Also would have preferred a better shower head and more water pressure but that's just me being extra.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were extra large and clean. We left clothes in the clothes and they let us know so that someone could pick them up for us. Very convenient location.
