My family and I stayed here because it was conveniently located to the Port of New Orleans. This hotel also had a free complimentary shuttle that transported us to and from the port which was great. This hotel will also be a great option if you’re attending any events at the convention center because it’s located directly across the street from the venue. The hotel also offered complementary breakfast that extends beyond bagels, muffins, juice, and fruit. The complementary breakfast was impressive because it offered a decent selection of food items and it certainly met my family’s needs. There’s truly not a need to go out for breakfast unless you’re looking for a unique New Orleans breakfast/brunch experience. The hotel is also conveniently located (by foot or transportation) to the some of the highly popular areas in the city such as the French Quarter, Canal Street, Bourbon street, Harrah’s casino, etc. I would certainly consider staying here again.

The location of this property was perfect, we were right across the street from the essence festival which was a plus. There is alot to do within walking distance. We really enjoyed the pool and bar. A huge shout out goes to the valet gentleman's we came across during our stay. They were very tentative, engaged in friendly conversation and even gave food recommendations. Our overall stay was enjoyable and we are already booking another trip to visit again!

Ants were throughout our room and in the bathroom. Hotel sent someone in right away to spray even offered to switch our rooms but due to traveling 12+hrs we were too exhausted to switch and opted to have them change the bedding since Ants were crawling on them as well. We didn't have any other issues.

I booked through a 3rd party, because the hotel website said the rooms were sold out. By booking through the 3rd party, I was unable alter my reservation to get the parking package to leave my vehicle while I was on the cruise. I was unaware that would be an issue. However, I did ask again during check-in, and I was told that I could pay to leave my car, but there was no guarantee that they would have room for me on the shuttle. I believe that should be stated on the hotel's website, so guest don't think that they can add it on whenever and still have the same service as when you purchase it on the hotel site. It was only a minor inconvenience, because we were able to find another (less expensive) parking option.

I loved that they were very welcoming! The hotel is very clean and smells great! Besides the one rude ass vallet attendant that was working on night shift, the staff was very friendly and efficient! The rooms were very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Their pool was clean, and even had a towel station for us to dry off after swimming. The breakfast selection has a large variety of food to eat as well! I would definitely book again!

We had to pay a 50 dollar security deposit, but that was kinda expected. Most likely, you'll get the deposit back upon check out if the room isn't trashed or damaged. We also had to pay 45 dollars a day for vallet parking😫. There was one rude ass vallet employee that worked nightshift. Attiude was on 100 and was very unprofessional. Yea, he was definitely on his period🫤. All in all, that didn't take away from us having a great stay!

The breakfast was on point. The staff we talked with were extremely helpful. The shuttle driver was extremely helpful and patient. The room was gorgeous. I loved it! I wished we stayed longer to enjoy the room.

The young lady at the check in was not helpful at all. I had made reservations for 2 rooms. I could not find or remember the name I put for the second room and the young lady was getting very impatient. She was very rude. She talked extremely low and was rolling her eyes. I get it. It was probably late and she was tired. So was I.

We were there for my daughters dance comp that was at the Hilton Riverside a few blocks away.....the Hampton was a VERY nice hotel, historic feel, convenient to walk to most all that we did- daughter was performing at the Hilton Riverside which was double the cost of this hotel which was only about a 6 minute walk, also convenient to convention center which was across street, felt very safe and a few nights we walked back after 10pm, if you don't mind walking it is also walkable to cafe du monde and French quarter and bourbon st, canal etc, about a mile to cafe du monde, only about a 3 minite walk to the riverside outlet entrance . Nice clean area. Bed was comfy, air worked great (thank goodness because NOLA is HOT in June), didn't feel over crowded even though I know there were a lot staying there, valet was usually really fast (only once because there was a problem with another person's car), we didn't use the pool but looked nice but small, housekeeping was fast getting us extra towels and we were given a late checkout, view was great, we stayed on the downtown side and had view of park below and downtown , door dash delivers to your room (some hotels do not allow this)

Breakfast was just ok, food was just ok, very crowded I think poor setup because the self serve waffle and toasting station is small but lots of people using it, valet was fast and friendly but still wish we had a self park option, there is NOT a self park option except 2 blocks away that I saw, I just fell like if you pay to stay in a hotel, you should get to park for free, personal pet peeve

As I had been invited to participate in an International Conference in the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, the Hampton Inn is the closest hotel located, just across the road. It took only a couple of minutes to reach the venue ! The Staff all-in-all were courteous, "accommodative" (pun intended!) and helpful. The modest person (I guess Gersan was his name) who checked me in was super copoerative and gave me the best room available with a view. Even for the vacationer, the Hotel is close to riverwalk the Mississippi Pier, the French Quarter, several Museums and the famous Aquarium. All within walking distance. The hotel is kept spick-and-span. Also has a laudry room with coin and credit-card operable machines. That is an added convenience !

All was OK, but may I suggest that for vegetarians such as myself, if they could provide more options in the continental breakfast, it will be highly appreciated !

The staff were so accommodating of my situation on Monday when I didn't have a way home and had to wait until 2AM got someone to come get me from GA. The fact that hotel staff would be that warm and loving and care about someone who only spent 4 nights in the hotel for a Pokémon NAIC event... it speaks wonders. Y'all were the best part of the trip by far.

I didn't like the excessive number of wildlife in the pool area.

I spent an amazing time at this hotel. They upgraded me to a better room with no problem! The room was really amazing and big. The hotel was nice, the staff incredibly kind. I also enjoyed staying at the pool.

The only thing I did not like was the strength of the bed. I normally prefer more tough beds, but this also depends on personal preferences. Otherwise - everything looked super well!

The facility was very nice, comfortable, and clean. The lobby and breakfast area is very spacious and relaxing.

Ivy, the front desk attendant, was very unfriendly, and I didn't feel welcomed at the facility when I first approached the desk. I was ignored when I first walked up to the counter. It was very obvious I was bothering her. I was the only one standing there. They definitely have the wrong person at the front, in my opinion. I never received a smile or thank you. Parking is too expensive at the hotel.
