We liked that the location was close to the Riverwalk and other attractions downtown. The clean comfy room/bed was great. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

I didn't like that the hotel only offered valet parking, and $45 a day isn't cheap. Although fairly close, parking isn't even on property, and the parking garage itself does at least offer slightly lower costs, yet restrictions to the use of your vehicle without having to pay for re-entry. Seems like many places no longer have parking inclusive in the price with your hotel stay, which isn't a showstopper, but definitely not a preference and makes you think twice.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The room and bathroom were great. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with all sorts of goodies including hot food, bakery items, yogurt with all the fixings, fresh fruit and so much more. All the stuff we encountered was super nice. Everything one would expect from southern hospitality!

The hotel was not within walking distance to the French Quarter for us in the heat. We paid for the hotel parking but then we had to pay for parking at the French Quarter. The only good thing was that we were charged for parking at the hotel each day we stayed but we could go in and out as many times we needed to.

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Super easy for the convention centre and a short walk to the river and French Quarter. Great jogs both into the city centre and also the other way into the Graden District (the lovely old residential area). Really helpful that you can have conference supplies delivered before arrival. breakfast was fine.

The hotel is a bit tired, but suspect that is why it is so reasonable. The sofa in my room had some stains on it that put me off sitting on it.

There were 5 of us, so we booked a room with 2 queen beds and a queen pull-out sofa for a weekend while waiting to leave on a Carnival cruise. The room was huge, the beds were very comfortable. It is an older hotel, so the normal wear and tear is apparent, but we expected that. It was very clean, which is always our main concern. All the staff we interacted with were great - in total, maybe 7 between 4 front desk staff and 2-3 cleaning/maintenance staff. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Our cruise was delayed due to a medical emergency detour, so we were not to go to the port until 11:00pm (previously 1:30pm), and we had a child with us - the staff were very helpful and arranged a discounted extra stay for us. Location was great - 5 min walk to Riverwalk Outlets Shopping Mall and Caesar's Casino; 20 min walk to the French Quarter; 5 min drive to the cruise port, places to eat within a 2-5 min walk.

The only downside of the room we were in is that the noise could be excessive as we faced the main street and there was a lot of horn honking and revved up cars/trucks, so we heard the noise off and on throughout the night - earplugs fixed the problem. Also, the shower curtain always allowed water onto the floor because it did not stay close to the front wall of the shower/tub, so we had a pool of water along the tub and in front of the toilet every time one of us took a shower.

My wife and I enjoyed Everything about your property from the moment we walked in the door we felt right at home and were welcomed in by the sweetest greeting from Irealle James! She helped us so much navigating the city from local entertainment, must sees while in town and amazing places to eat. Our truck didn’t fit in your garage (F-250 was to tall lol) so without hesitation she called valet to get information for us to park elsewhere We will Most Definitely be back to enjoy a longer stay with Hyatt Place. Our room was amazing the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the cleanest room/bathroom we’ve ever experienced in New Orleans!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!!

Staff was really nice, I got an early check-in and all receptionists I spoke with over my stay were really nice (like everybody in nola ;)). Breakfast is what you can expect in a US hotel. Room was roomy, convenient and clean.

This hotel feels a bit outdated, and the location is not amazing (though definitely good enough). But these are small things for me. Overall I'd stay there again, and I prefer this location even though it's not close to the touristic attractions as it's more quiet, and nola is totally walkable.

The staff was friendly and very helpful.

I had booked a disabled room with a king bed and a sofa bed. When we got there, we were told that the disabled rooms didn't have sofa beds, just a sofa. One of our party had to sleep on the sofa without a bed. Also, I asked for a shower stool for the bathroom, and no one was able to find one.

I enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Place for my conference. The staff was super friendly, welcoming me when I returned back to the hotel and acknowledging me with a "good morning" to start my day. The breakfast was delicious! I also appreciated the location, it was an easy walk to the French Quarter and the river walk and accessible to ride sharing. Finally, I am one who loves to sleep in a quiet dark space. My room was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. I will stay here again!

Great location, comfortable spacious rooms, and friendly accommodating staff! My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay as we attended a concert at the nearby Smoothie King Center and explored the french quarter and riverwalk just minutes away.

It would've been nice to have more carts for transporting luggage, but we managed just fine.

The location is within minutes from the shopping mall. Plenty of restaurants in the near by area. Great staff team. I like the fact that all were knowledgeable and very eager to help.

What I wasn’t pleased is that the breakfast was very limited. Every-time the staff would bing out fruit it was gone within 3 minutes. Would love to see a bigger variety of items on the breakfast menu.
