Pool can get very busy/overcrowded as only small, and could open bit earlier (not open till 10am). Not told about $250 damage deposit until check in. This was not mentioned when booking room and luckily I had my credit card to be able to do this or would have gone into my spending budget. Also carefully monitor the card you use for deposit as my sisters boyfriend had several other transactions charged to his card following this.

Breakfast was great. We loved the design. It felt like walking through a garden to get to our room. Our apartment suite was perfect for my family.

We were really looking forward to using the pool. It looked beautiful, but closed! Kids were very disappointed.

The accommodation was in the Arts District, about a 20 minute walk from Bourbon Street (we chose that intentionally). We chose it for the room amenities like the kitchenette, and finding out there was a laundry (coin operated) on our floor was a plus. There was a nice outdoor pool that we used a little. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and for a longer stay it was great in this family/community feeling hotel. The included breakfast and staff helping out were very nice :) One consideration is that housekeeping needs to be ordered 24 hours in advance.

It would be great to get more information about how to get around (e.g., information on the streetcar), and the different "what's on" events. This is merely a suggestion, not a negative necessarily (as it is easy enough to find those things out). Generally speaking, everything was good!

Breakfast was good the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable once we sprayed it down it had a moldy smell. The room had left over trash in the closet. But the overall experience was good.

It’s located in a quiet area near the WW II museum and a 15 minute walk from the French Quarter. The space in our unit was nice. Plenty of room for our clothes. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. The free breakfast was decent. There were a lot of options and the meat options changed daily. There was free popcorn daily and king cake some days. The staff was friendly. The courtyard area was nice. There is a grill available to use.

We had to ask for pool towels multiple times. The pool was cold but felt nice on a hot day. The room was decent but needs some refreshing. The shelf in the bathroom was about to fall out of the wall. There was hair in the bathroom when we arrived. There was a spot that made a loud noise in the bathroom every time it was stepped on it. The outside tables were dirty and often had garbage on them. I never saw anyone wipe them down. The doors shut really hard and are loud. I wish there would have been potatoes every day for breakfast as I don’t eat sausage which was served almost every day. The day that bacon was available it was burnt and limp. Our room had no view to the outside.

Most of the staff was friendly, like Toi, the and the maintenance and housekeeping staff. The front desk was hit and miss - some great, some ready to go home. The pool was nice and the towels were always clean and fresh. Linens and other amenities were solid. The location was also good. Not too far from the “action” and just outside to be away from all the noise - about 1.1 miles.

The policy about not cleaning rooms unless it’s been a week during your stay was not ideal but the size and comfort of the room we got made up for it. We had an upgraded one bedroom queen suite - rm 311 - that could have used more furniture in the living room but we made due. The shampoo and conditioner need to be ungraded.

The staff were amazing and went over and above to make us, and most important, our 5 year old daughter feel so special and welcome. It was all the little touches such as popcorn in the lobby and a valentine flower the stood out to us. In addition the rooms were spacious and the shower had decent pressure. I appreciated the multiple options for the included breakfast and the onsite laundry. It was also walking distance to Bourbon street, the cruise dock, and the aquarium

It was a bit older and the pillows weren’t great.

I want to first say that the Manager Derek Styles went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed after being in the wrong room. When we begin to have internet issues he allowed me to use the media center to complete my work for a project that had a deadline. I can't say enough about southern hospitality, exceptional customer service and just good manners. I was stressed about not being able to access the internet for work so I was so appreciative on this save!! This staff is so amazing from the Manager, to the Valet, Buddy, the Security Officer Darryl, the Engineer, Toi, the breakfast staff and Sammie/Jordan at the front desk who were always accommodating. We had an AMAZING week and will definitely be back next year. We also LOVED the access to the Interstate which was three minutes away!

I would love to see more variety for the breakfast options.

Loved the staff and location. The layout of the rooms were great. Valet was good. On our last night there our room got a really bad leak from the ceiling in the bathroom at around 1:45 a.m. and by 2:00 a.m. we were moved into another room. I appreciate the prompt way they helped to resolve that issue. The room we were moved to was actually a bit bigger and better than the one we had (but the bed was still hard). And I've already said it but I absolutely love the staff. Everybody I came into contact with was really friendly and helpful.

The housekeeping only comes when requested the day before. Though it's not the fault of the hotel itself but there's no free parking anywhere near the hotel. I wanted to use the pool but I didn't like that the water was cloudy in it. Though no one was smoking in the rooms everyone was smoking around the pool and you have to walk by the pool to get to your rooms. The beds are hard and horrible. And as far as the leak that was in our bathroom on the last night there, we were quickly moved to another room within 15 or 20 minutes, but nobody from the hotel came to check the leak. We were told no maintenance personnel was there at that time of night which I understand, but we still felt like somebody from the hotel should have come to at least see with their own eyes what was going on.

Breakfast was good. Location was outside of the French Quarter, but easy access to streetcars and bus routes. Very close to WW2 museum and Train Station. Outdoor patio was nice - great to sit around the fire with other guests. Plumbed-in barbecue was free to use - nice to grab a few steaks and have a homey meal while away.

Pool was cold! (I guess it was March). Front Desk service was a little slow (they didn't know about the gas shutoff behind the barbecue), slow for towels/blankets and additional cutlery. But Breakfast service was great.
