The owner was amazing. You don't find people , like him and his wife, in many places. They were just great in all ways. Our room had 2 full beds, full kitchenette, and bathroom. Retro without even trying to be.. And clean. Just a really nice place.. Oh, and their breakfast diner(attached to hotel) has super good food and very affordable. The restaurant staff were sweet too IT'S A WIN WIN. 😊 And it's on the quiet side of OOB. Super per friendly.

Having my economy room upgraded to an oceanfront studio by Jessica immediate set the tone for an exceptional stay at Alouette. Even if the room had not been immaculately clean; even if the on site cafe did not serve a wonderful hot breakfast; even if the location had not been so well located—the Alouette Sunrise rooms would still garner rave reviews. The beach is right there, out your back door—the sound of the waves lull you to sleep at night. The room was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette, and nicely appointed with granite in the bath and soothing neutral tones and simple furnishings—and a private deck to enjoy those incredible sunrises and sunsets.

The staff was very nice with me. Maybe because I arrived late or because it was beginning of summer season and they were extremely helpful, or maybe they are just very nice when you are also nice with them, they upgraded my room for free 💚. So I got a larger room closer to the ocean. The bed was great and extra comfy. I haven't slept so well in many days.

Sure that the equipment might be newer but I really liked the way it is.

The location was the best! We where able to walk around and go to different shops and walk right onto the beach. Also the person at the front desk upgraded our room with no extra cost, having it located closer to where you could see the beach and it had a balcony which was really nice. Everyone was very accommodating and there is a breakfest restaurant right under the rooms which we went to before we left for the airport and the food was amazing! So cute and clean and everyone was very nice! Would high recommend coming here!

Got a free upgrade when I arrived, I was moved to the partner hotel about one block down (windsong motel) which was approx 30 steps to the beach. Fred was very friendly and helpful when I asked advice about the local area.

Bathroom was very small, had to almost climb over the toilet to get into the shower. Decor a little dated.

We arrived in the evening, very tired, & the lady in the reception was so sweet enough to upgrade us to the 2br suite, overlooking the beach! But we preferred 2 separate rooms and she found a way to give us 2 adjacent rooms w balcony with a view of the beach! Breakfast food & service were fantastic!

The receptionist was very kind. I told her I was booking a night for myself, to walk on the beach and listen to the waves....due to my mother passing that morning.....she did her magic and changed my room so I could see and hear the ocean from my room and it was just a few feet from the beach. I had other family members stay there days prior and they were very happy with their stay as well.

The location was amazing, we were steps from the beach. The beds were comfy, the room was very clean. We had a little kitchenette even though we were staying in one of the smaller lower priced rooms.

The bathroom was a little small but for just a night it was fine.

Stuff is very friendly and polite. Even though we booked a room without see view, we were upgraded with one for free. Location is perfect, it is literally on the beach, room is big and cozy. We really enjoyed.

Wifi and mobile network were weak sometimes

It is a quiet, lovely setting. Super clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. They are personable and really care about the quality of the stay. The breakfast is outstanding too!!! 5 plus stars!
