the staff - especially the support staff and and maintenance teams - were amazing. I had a truly horrible trip, through no fault of the hotel, and every member of the staff worked extra hard to make sure we had what we needed for the whole week. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was perfect, and the location was honestly great - easy to walk to downtown/sites, but also easy and low stress to drive to the hotel from the highway or airport. The breakfast had something for everyone! I am terrible with names - I want to give a special shout out to everyone, but only remember Patrick and Robbin's names ... super thanks to everyone, including/especially Patrick and Robbin 🙂

The internet is NOT good, I ended up having to use a hotspot the whole time (but the staff did their darndest to fix it!), and the key cards kept demagnetizing (even though kept separate from other cards and phones). Not the staff's fault, but Windham should fix this. Also the TV was super lame (slow, terrible selection), but we had laptops and hotspots, so we were content.

We requested a room on the first floor or near elevator for my spouse with her walker. This was taken care of us, and in fact the room itself was accessible with a wide open format. My wife appreciated it. There were also several handicapped parking spaces which kept me from having to go back and forth from the parking lot to the front door. From an accessibility standpoint, this was the best we have run across.

Nothing really. A later checkout time would have been handy, since my wife had morning day surgery, but I suspect if I had asked, we would have been granted a later checkout time with the fee waived. But since a I didn’t know how late we would be at the hospital, I didn’t bother. So just an observation, not a complaint. It is a great hotel.

As soon as you enter the hotel, there is a very pleasant smell in the lobby. The staff gave us all the necessary information, was very nice. The room is new, very cozy and spacious. The towels are snow-white, soft, new. The room was very light, clean, without unpleasant odors. The air conditioner works quietly. I would like to separately note the very good cosmetics in the bathroom. We were very pleased, had a great rest and will definitely come back here on our next trip to Portland. I recommend it to everyone. Everything was top notch. Thank you

The hotel was very nice and staff was very pleasant. This hotel seems to be new so everything was great, our room was very spacious and we lovely the wooden floors, no carpet. The only downside was in the shower when taking a shower the water leaked out onto the outside floor. So we had to keep a towel there so as not to wet the entire floor. Also, the town suffered major power outages due to a snowstorm and our second night we were awakened super early due to the town’s crew who we’re having a meeting in the lobby and were being very loud. Due to the location of our room which was right next to the lobby it woke us up and we couldn’t go back to sleep. This the 4 stars. There’s good parking and it’s close to everything. I definitely recommend this place.

The bathroom shower leaking unto the floor.

My association with LaQuinta has been a long-standing love affair. I don't travel as much as in prior years but have always tried to stay at LaQuinta if possible. From check-in to check out, I truly cannot find anything wrong. All the amenities necessary for stay were excellent. I really would like to keep LaQuinta a secret to myself. But knowing the LaQuinta outstanding reputation I feel comfortable letting others know.

Not a fan of DISH TV and hardly watch. It snowed 4/3-4/2024 and the antenna was covered and transmission of tv was out for a little while. This is not a DISLIKE; this is just an FYI..

Our stay was great! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff - every one we met - was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and included many choices, from scrambled eggs and sausage, to waffles, bagels, cereal and fruit, juice and yogurt. It is easy to find, but not too close to the highway, so none of the annoying highway noise. We did see a few trains go by our window, but that was fun and not too often. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very responsive and polite staff. Location is perfect. Free breakfast. No hold on credit cards, only charged for the room costs! Our first room had a puddle at the base of the toilet. Since it was Sunday and no maintenance people at the time, we were given a new room.

I know alot had changed over the years, but the breakfast was minimal. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, toast, English muffins, 2 cereal options, 2 yogurt flavors, oj, milk, coffee, tea. No granola, no waffle station, no gluten free bread options, I recall years ago they even offered sausage gravy and biscuits. These are not so much complaints, just offering info. Beds are fine if you enjoy firm mattresses.

The hotel was clean and had free parking and included breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The towels were of good quality. Our room was a good size. The bedroom/ living area carpeting was clean and the laminate floor entry allowed any debris to be left with our shoes to keep the room clean.

Same breakfast every day. The decaf tea was mixed in with the regular tea so it was a gamble. Smokers smoked too close to the building. The walls were a bit thin. Windows did not open so we would love a fresh air option for the heating/cooling system.

The gentleman working the front desk the evening we stayed was very friendly and helpful. We were about halfway through our trip and needed to do laundry at this stop, but I had not come prepared with quarters (I thought it'd either be a free service or there would be a quarter machine in the laundry room). The front desk employee was so kind to exchange dollar bills for $6 in quarters for me. I really appreciated him doing that, even though it probably left him a little low in his till. We also found the room to be very comfortable and the location was convenient.

There was something gross-looking - a hair scrunchie? A glove? I'm not totally sure (we didn't want to touch it) - left on the top of the shower door that made it feel a little less clean. I'm sure it was an isolated incident, and otherwise everything was fine.

Great location! Easy parking. Very clean rooms. The breakfast was basic but hot and there staff worked hard to keep up with the busy dining room.

Our room was oddly small. We reserved two identical rooms and one was considerably smaller than the other. We had to laugh because of how you had to stand to be able to open the bathroom door when you were in it. There wasn’t enough floor space to open a suitcase either.
