The beach was the best part. There were always plenty of chairs and umbrellas available Rooms definitely need to be updated but if you’re not too picky they’re fine. The only drawback is that everything closes early. Pool. Outside bar. Restaurant. And I feel that the restaurant caters more to families. Simple basic menu. Thankfully there are a lot of nice restaurants in the area.

That the outside bar closes early. It’s always nice when you come back from dinner to sit outside and have a night cap. Also there are no microwaves in the room so you can’t heat up tea or anything

What I did not appreciate- Would not let me request early check in without being there in person - which completely defeats the purpose of early check in requests when u have a sleeping toddler in the car - Wanted me to present a credit card in person - I already paid for the room and they had my cc info on file - so the need to be there in person made no sense to me Also - - especially when you’re paying a very high “resort fee” in the middle of winter when you can’t use 50% of the resort

I loved the pools, beach, great staff and the location was beautiful!

I did not like the room at all. I had no view and I thought I was getting view and quick access to the beach. The floor in the room was dirty. The beds were small, but most bothersome was no view at all. The food in the restaurant was too expensive. It should be more affordable, especially breakfast.

The resort was lovely. The grounds were easy to walk around. I enjoyed walking the beach.

I enjoy my morning coffee. I am accustom to having a coffee/tea station set up for guests to enjoy. If not all day, at least in the morning. I had to buy a coffee from the gift shop for $11! Considering the size of the resort and remoteness, I was very disappointed in the lack of consideration.

I loved the location of our room with the balcony facing the ocean. It was beautiful! I also liked that there are new owners who care about the place and it’s so much cleaner than it was two years ago.

Seeing the dirt/footprints on hallway floors and the dust bunnies as well as the entrance rugs needed vacuuming badly. The hallways and entrance in building four needed a good cleaning.

The view, location, fantastic sunset. Beach was clean, beautiful view. The terrace was fenced in for privacy however the chairs are high enough to not have the ocean view blocked. During off season worth the view and quiet.

The bed, the shower, the exterior door to building 3 did not lock. Couldn't imagine paying peak prices for a bed that uncomfortable (only sheets as blankets), shower where paint is chipped away and just painted over. I had the first room when you walked into building 3 and the exterior door to the building did not latch and lock in 3 days. Surprised parents there didn't complain due to safety.

I loved the location…I loved the beach and the pool ….It was great to sit on the beach and be served ….restaurant on site ….

I didn’t love the price $$$ ….also it wasn’t kept up as nice as it was a few years back ….the flower beds were full of weeds and dead plants and shrubs …..really disappointed ….the food at the restaurant wasn’t great …the staff was really nice ….the prices at the snack bar was ridiculous $19 dollars for a Hot Dog 😱😱😱

the board walk by the hotel rooms should be monitored for frozen run offs from the roofs, I took the bad fall on the corner where board walk ends ( it is during the winter stays where water can freeze easily) also I guess, it is not avoidable to have sand even in your beds? and of course on the floors. When we entered the room there was sand between sheets on the beds l am not sure if this is common thing happening in the rooms facing the bay water. we did not mind that too much.

The staff at the beach were very helpful…getting us chairs and putting up an umbrella. Very respectful. All of the staff that we spoke to were very kind and helpful.

We found everything to be very clean and in great shape. The only thing that wasn’t great was the breakfast buffet. A little pricy but the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Loved the look cation of our room overlooking the ocean. Loved the pool!

The construction was not difficult but knowing they were being made better for after our vacation was a bit sad.
