They’ve made a lot of improvements to the place

The view was phenomenal!! We had an ocean front room and it the closest I’ve ever been to the ocean. We hear the calming sounds of the ocean at night which was so relaxing! The room was simple and clean and suited our needs perfectly! The hotel provided a hot breakfast, unlimited all day coffee/tea, hot tub and pools which were great! The location was perfect and less than 15 minutes to a vibrant downtown with restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and access to beautiful ocean views! This humble hotel provided the best value lodgings for our mother daughter trip and we’ll be back soon! Also take a 5 minute walk to Sandy’s for the freshest seafood. You won’t be disappointed! And yes, we saw a harbor seal while swimming and it was amazing!

The restaurant was not operational. The hotel is a bit dated

The location was absolutely perfect! The view from our room was amazing! This was our 1st time in the Plymouth area, but definitely won't be our last! We loved everything about our stay. We liked it so much that we ended up staying another night. Just down from the motel, there is a beach side restaurant/bar with excellent food, just bring cash as they don't accept cards. The motel has 2 pool, one indoors and one outdoors, as well as a restaurant that is only open from Wednesday-Sunday.

The only thing we were disappointed with is that the on-site restaurant/bar was closed on both nights we stayed.

My brother and I were in the area for a family event. The location was perfect, close to downtown Plymouth, and very easy to find. Loved being right on the water. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Had a double/queen.

Though everything was clean, the floor was sticky like something was sprayed on it. Maybe it was the type of cleaner used. Slightly disappointed with the breakfast, I was hoping for more variety.

I was there out of season, and it couldn't have been better. The room was big and comfortable, there was a desk and a chair, the bathroom was huge, the bed was comfortable, the heating was loud but warm -- it's also the aircon, so I guess it would be the same in season. I had my own door which was super convenient for getting ubers and food delivery. There's a fridge and a microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful but not intrusive, and met my request to keep me a lower floor room even though I was arriving late. The place is 100% accessible if you get a lower floor room, not even one step. The breakfast room was awesome, facing onto the ocean, and waves came right up and broke on the glass at high tide.

The breakfast was only adequate, a coffee machine with tea, sweet pastries and a waffle machine, no protein. My room faced the car park and not the sea, but I totally knew that when I booked.

this absolutely IDYLLIC hotel is now my favourite in the WORLD. it’s perfect as is and is also undergoing renovations due to the awesomeness of its new owners. GORGEOUS waterfront views and vibes. historically, when I travel I usually feel quite homesick and I felt at Pilgrim Sands like I was totally at home. I slept great and loved the community energy the common spaces made possible. a beautiful meadow for birders right across the road and terrific bar restaurant and beach right next door. best vibes in town

I loved everything

The staff were warm and welcoming, it was very clean. The beach was so close and vast I didn’t even get to see all of it so I can’t wait to come back! The breakfast was perfect it was light some complained but I thought it was really good bagels and cream cheese is what I had, coffee and orange juice. There is an indoor pool it looked nice but I didn’t swim, they also had really good music playing softly I was impressed and thought it was a treat.

The cable tv seemed out of date and wasn’t working but the staff fixed it for me within 24hrs.

The room was typical for a standard hotel/motel, but the absence of carpet gave it a slightly more premium feel. Although I opted for a cheaper room facing the road, I was pleasantly surprised to find it located at the end of the building, with a side window that offered a view of the ocean. While I'm not a huge fan of the ocean, the view and the serene atmosphere of being right by the ocean, especially during sunrise and sunset, were the highlights of my stay. My kids loved checking the tide levels at various times throughout the day, making each trip out of our room an adventure! The pools were impressive, especially the outdoor one which reached a surprising depth of 8 feet. Being over 6 feet tall, I'm not used to pools where I can't touch the bottom, so this was a unique and enjoyable experience.

There isn't much to complain about besides the very minor things; most of which involve the bathroom. It wasn't bad overall, but I had issues with the the placement of the one towel hook and the mirror. The single hook was in an awkward corner of the room. I ended up draping wet towels over just about every raised object on one half of the room by the end of our three-night stay. As for the mirror, it was too low for someone as tall as myself. I found that kneeling on the floor was the easiest way for me to style my hair in the morning. I really appreciate when hotels have mirrors that pivot vertically, allowing me and my kids to adjust accordingly.

Loved the small, cozy feel of the hotel. Very large parking lot. Indoor & outdoor pool. Gorgeous view & right on the water /beach 😍, close to all but far enough. Rooms were clean & not cluttered, had a great nights sleep. The complimentary breakfast was light, not overwhelming, enough to get you going, which was coffee’s, tea, juices, cereals, yogurts, bagels, bread, danishes, fruits, make your own waffle station. Staff, no matter who, they were always smiling & friendly. Have family living in the area & will definitely let everyone I know that visits the area to stay here. See you soon 😉

The property is on the water and our early morning walk on the beach watching sunrise was fabulous. The morning breakfast was a nice addition to the stay. The staff, especially Sam, was so professional and kind!

Next time I would book the harbor view instead of the parking lot view. That’s on me not the property.
