The price was great, such a cute little motel. Nothing over the top but it was so quaint, clean. This was the Taj mahal but the room looked just like the pictures. The bed was comfy. The staff was nice. Just park outside the door and walk right in, no 3 minutes of walking of hotel hallways and having a ride in elevator to get to your room. The room was simple yet adequate. And as a bonus you can drive just one minute down the road to the beach. And no funky smells or heavy cleaner smells used to try to mask and the orders. The room smelled clean or actually no smell, which is good!

I really have no complaints.

You need a designated smoking area away from the room's. I like the windows open and was happy that was an option to air conditioner . Unfortunately the woman next door was always sitting outside next door smoking, and the smoke and smell was always in my room. That was disgusting!! I would suggest you designate a committed smoking area for those who like to gather and breathe each other's smoke 🤨 The room was fine,the toilet seat was falling off. Not a biggie for me, but maybe for someone else. I would suggest 1 fixed small chair would be more comfortable than that office chair. The office chair was ok,but not very comfortable to sit for any duration

The rooms have definitely been redone by the new owners, we rented two king suites and a 2 bedroom suite. My friends loved their king suites, indicating they were nice and spacious and they had a couch as well making the room feel more homey. I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with my fiancé and another couple, the room was very spacious and made it easy for the entire group to spend time together and not be sitting on just beds and feeling cramped. The bathroom was large and the bed although claimed as a queen was truly a king, the second room had two relatively large twin beds which we were able to move together to make a bigger bed. The couch however had barely any cushion spring to it, it was very hard when you sat down. We did want to see how it folded out to a bed and that was pretty neat, but you'd have to be a person to prefer a very firm mattress to sleep on it. The room had a toaster, microwave, a table for 4, and a small refrigerator, a coffee table, and 2 tvs (one in the main room and one in the main bedroom). Outside was nice and quiet most of the time with tables outside your room to sit at and Saturday night more people arrived and the area was a bit more peppy with other guests outside as well. This is my second time staying here, and I can tell you there were vast improvements made in the rooms, the first time under former ownership the rooms looked liked you stepped into the late 80s early 90s era and they lacked many modern amenities. But this time I felt like I was staying in a modern room that was more clean and spacious.

Getting out of the parking lot is very tricky and you can be waiting a while if making a left turn which is how you have to go of you're trying to get to route 6 in a timely manor. The lack of do not disturb signs could be improved. Also the rooms on the office side should have room darkening curtains as the sun shines right through in the morning and it's hard to stay asleep with the room super bright. The two room suite came with some dishes and silverware but dishes were left in the sink and the silverware did not look clean...we avoided that and left everything where it was. The second room did not have a door, and the front walls did not connect to the ceiling, we hung a sheet to give them privacy as that was a bit awkward. There should really be a door for the second bedroom.

Location is on Main St which made it busy and can be tricky getting off or on the road. I am happy that the motel is clean with almost everything that you may need. I am impressed with the cable channels on TV which was really a lot & more than you would need. It is near to places like the Buenos Aires Bakery which serves breakfast & lunch with really great food, gas station, mini golf for families, etc.. Our king size bed was comfortable with night light that have USB for charging your devices. There is also a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The sofa can be converted to a bed so you comfortable have 4 people in our room. All in all, my husband and I are very happy that we chose Windrift Motel

Bed was comfy. Water was hot! Clean towels were provided without chasing anyone down. It was quiet. Housekeeping staff was great.

The brightness in the room in the morning had me up at the crack of dawn. The big window was ok but the small one with the blind gave no light protection. Found some fuzzy catapillar eyelashes stashed on top of the mirror in bathroom,obviously someone couldn't reach to clean. Otherwise very clean room.

the location was wonderful. the hotel room was very clean and smelled fresh. the bed was pretty comfortable. overall we were very happy with our stay. the pool was cute as well although we didn't actually swim in it due to the weather. the staff was nice to !

the bathroom was a little small but it was certainly manageable, the bed had 3 pillows we ended up just buying some down the street at tj Maxx .. I'm sure if we asked for more pillows we would have gotten them. overall no real complaints out stay was great.

Friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, great location. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge in room. Hair dryer in bathroom. There were ice cream novelties in the office too!

Walls a bit thin and other guests taking outdoor chairs. To be fair, we did not address this with the owner, who was very nice. Lighting was very bright. None of this would prevent us from staying again though.

The room was like a little condo ..separate bedrm which is great as we have a snorer in out family. It was also very inexpensive in comparison to other places..a lot of hotels in the area..right nextdoor etc..similar styles that were more expensive

We have the fun room next to this my very busy Street Route 28 which is a main street that goes to the cape I wish we had asked for a room away from the street and there were no windows to open in the bedroom which I really need in a nice weather

All said, a very nice place. Updated room (flooring, painted walls, bathroom, etc.) adds a great value to the very reasonable room price. Would stay there again :)

The recessed ceiling lights are too bright and harsh, some more lamps would be nice. Needed instructions for the cable tv (1 hour wasted to find there are no local stations). Needed a "do not disturb" door knob sign.

Loved the fact no carpet in the room. Beds were very comfy and the sheets were very nice. Not cheaply made. The daily service was a nice addition. The place was mostly quiet and parking was right outside the door.

The only thing we were confused about was there was not a normal waste basket in the room. There was one very small one in the bathroom. But we are not messy people so we made it work
