I loved the friendliness of the restaurant staff every day I went down for breakfast. My room was comfortable. There was spots near the heater at the window that weren't well insulated, and I could hear the cold Michigan winter wind getting in. But I mentioned it to the staff when checking out so that they could take a look at it. The location of the hotel was really nice in the downtown, very close to the legendary American Coney Island and Lafayette Coney Island where you can eat Detroit-style hot dogs! Don't forget to take a bus to the Motown Museum.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was located very close to the convention center, just a 5–10-minute walk. The room was nice, clean and I was able to work from the room, very good wi-fi. Downtown Detroit is a nice place; I felt comfortable and safe in the area. The hotel staff was incredible. Jasmine and Jami were great, the bartenders in the Trolley were great and housekeeping was fantastic. No complaints at all, I will stay here again next year when I travel for the same convention.
No real complaints, I had a great stay. I would make one suggestion: as there are many different restaurants and types of food to try, a shuttle that would take hotel guests to pick up and come back would be a great service. All in all, no complaints.

We ended up with a suite for disabled persons because the internet was out. It was wonderful! I had my son with me, and this way we had separate beds instead of sharing.
I had originally booked a roll in shower, because I am in a wheelchair. This room had a shower chair, which was fine! However, the hand shower attachment either didn't work or I couldn't figure it out. I ended up standing to rinse, which I am able to do. I forgot to notify the hotel while I was there (my mistake) but I think I told them in their site review.

Was there for a concert at Ford Field. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was a short walk to the venue where the event was held. Staff was super friendly. The cleanliness of the room was great. The room looked exactly like the pictures. The ladies at the bar was great as well.
The only thing I didn't like was how the shower door opened. It was the glass sliding door. Instead of to opening from the back of the shower, it opened from the front. Also, the shower door wouldn't stay closed. I had to prop something behind it to keep it from opening.

Great location for your doing to any Detroit sporting event
Check in I was told could be done at 2 so we arrived at two, we were told to come back at 4. We went back at 4 and waited until AFTER 5pm to check in because rooms weren’t ready. Gates to the lions opened at 5:30 and we had plans to get there for that which we couldn’t since the hotel was holding our bags and we didn’t have a room to change in.

Location Location Location! In the middle of it all in Downtown Detroit.
Valet parking young men, for the most on point and respectful. One of them refused the key to my vehicle as my vehicle sat outside in an unsure lot. which did NOT sit well with me. Will guarantee me nevering returning to that property. Add spectacular lighting to this beautiful property. The only thing is missing outside.

Staff were very kind and responsive. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious, with a lot of options to choose from. Location is great - the mover stop and bus station is right across the street, and the downtown city sights are in a walking distance.
Surroundings are not as pretty as they could be, and some facilities look a bit worn out.

The hotel is in a great location as we were attending a basketball game at the Little Caesars Arena. Very close to restaurants and the airport as well. Lots of eating choices within walking distance! Everyone that worked there that we encountered were very nice. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Detroit!

Check in was smooth! Staff is very nice & down to earth.Hotel is older, but fairly clean. I like the feeling of old charm. Water took awhile to heat up. Beds are comfy, tv huge! Will return & recommend to others 😊
Couldn't figure out fan only mode on the thermostat. Bathrooms in lobby out of service.
