Very convenient location with having 2 restaurants right off sight and access to metro transit across lot. The staff was always welcoming, friendly & helpful from front desk to grounds keeping to housekeeping staff. Standout staff was Josh who was the housekeeping manager and John I believe was hotel grounds keeping/maintenance. I watched of what I considered an excellent leader in managing housekeeping and staff with Josh. I randomly inquired about smelly trash that was sitting in hall across my room and Josh treated this with friendly and immediate response. I also saw how professional and respectable he treated his staff and he was greatly impressive. His work shows in the upkeep of this venue. John with grounds keeping/maintenance greeted me when passing by and offering his assistance with anything. John ended up giving me some great recommendations on things to do's while visiting the Minneapolis area while taking time out his day to even show me how to navigate the option of catching the metro transit to destinations off property which I deeply appreciated. Front desk was readily responsive to replacing my non-working iron in the room, a refunding money that was lost to a vending machine. Housekeeping quickly provided extra towels on request. The staff as a whole made me feel important, appreciated and that they were glad I was there which in turn I was! The staff makes guests feel like family,

Slightly nervous on first arriving due to seeing a homeless person rummaging through trash at a business on sight but experienced no safety concerns through stay.

Breakfast was great. I appreciated the absence of a television. Curtis was very friendly and helpful. He escorted me back my room after I checked out, then realized I had forgotten something. I left the charging cable to my cell phone at my last stop, but Curtis showed me the charging station in the lobby. When I told him I didn't have time to wait, he located a cable I could use in my car. I was very grateful that he did all he could to help.

I spent one night at the hotel. Overall, everything is great. Really friendly staff, cozy clean room, and almost everything you need. Convenient location, close to the airport. I'd stay here again.

The air conditioner was leaking. It would also be good to include toothpaste in the hygiene kit if it's possible. Thank you!

Excellent location. Right next to the inn are 2 of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. I really loved eating there especially that legendary hot pot place. Then it's just across the street from the tram station Stadium Village that you can take to downtown St.Paul or Minneapolis. And also the University of Minnesota is just around the corner too)) This means that there are more restaurants & stores for you to go if you need to eat or shop for daily products like water & so forth. Breakfast is offered from 7-10am. Simply take whatever you need there. And room wise it's pretty clean & warm at night so that's great to stay.

Only thing I wasn't happy about was the housekeeper didn't clean my room after the 1st night of stay. The front desk told me they work from 6-11am. Then I thought guests didn't check out until after 11am so why can't they clean our room if it's after 11am? That didn't make any sense. Also I didn't sleep that well in the room...I think the heater was on for a long time & it got too hot or warm in my room. Then after I turn it off, it was too cold in my room...that was not easy to control a comfortable temperature.

The staff, all of them, were all amazing! Very sympathetic to the reason for my stay. Made me feel like people really do care about others in a world that seems so sad these days. Thank you for making my days feel a bit brighter in a time that was very sad for me. I did lose my dad in the end but will never forget how loved you all made me feel! Thank you!

This hotel is a good value stay. While the room I stayed in (One King bed) was a bit of the smallish side, it was more than adequate for a solo traveler. In fact, the size of the room made it feel a bit cozy. The bed was really comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The room has a mini fridge but no microwave. The TV is also fairly small. The AC worked wonderfully which was great because Minneapolis was in the midst of a heat wave (highs in the 90s) when I visited. The bathroom is pretty cramped with a stand up shower but was overall very clean. Check-in and check out were both very quick and painless. During the check-in process, they asked to see my ID and credit card but do not charge any security deposit. Overall, all my interactions with the hotel staff were pleasant and I found them to be courteous and professional. The hotel offers a free breakfast that is decent from 7-10am each morning. I strongly recommend forgoing the free breakfast one morning and paying a visit to Al’s Breakfast which is located about a mile from the hotel. There is a long wait to get seated but the food is well worth it. The property is basically on the University of Minnesota campus, with the Days Hotel being directly across the street from Huntington Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team. The University’s basketball and hockey arenas are also within walking distance. If you are in town to see one of the school’s sports team play, this is the perfect location. I imagine the room rates are somewhat higher on home football weekends.

While this property doesn’t have a lot of fancy amenities, it’s a really nice stay for the money.

Location is the biggest plus, right next to a light rail station. Relatively affordable. The room was fine, came with a pretty big fridge. Staff were pleasant (but seem to be overworked by management) and I was able to keep my bags at the front desk before check-in and after check-out.

One elevator was out of service during my stay. TV was noticeably very old.

Staff was absolutely AMAZING. The morning staff were some of the sweetest women I have ever met. If I am ever in the area again I will stay here again because of them.

The bed was quite hard, and the smoke alarm light was flashing all night making it difficult to sleep without the use of a mask.

Close to the green line so I didn’t need a rental car. Front desk staff was amazing and extremely accommodating, allowing me to check in 3 hours early. The Puerto Rican man specifically made my staff enjoyable.

There was a crackhead (respectfully) roaming the halls. She paid to stay, which is fair, and it was snowing - but she was definitely using and speaking nonsense in the halls and to me.

Breakfast had a variety of options with both hot and cold choices. Yum! The location is on the edge of UMN campus and it was very easy to walk to campus for my conference. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The business center wifi was lagging a lot so that did not feel reliable. However, the front desk manager made himself available and assisted with the troubles and fixed the printer. The hotel looks and feels a little sketchy because it’s run-down. But it was very comfortable overall.
