Our room was very clean and we were able to check in a bit early due to an ice storm. The hotel was full, but it was quiet. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff maintained the dining area well. I was up really early and enjoyed reading my book by the fireplace in the entry area. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff had a hard time keeping up with the ice in the parking lot and on the sidewalks, but they were up against some nasty ice that appeared so quickly.

Bananas were green and there wasn't any other fruit for breakfast. Refrigerator wasn't ready for use initially, but the staff rectified that situation upon request.

Breakfast overall was fine, however construction workers had loaded up and taken the water bottles so there was no bottled drinking water the second morning of our stay. They also ran out of coffee. Food selection was adequate, however I have seen to some motels that had a much greater selection of pastries and cereals, as well as bacon and sausage.... but then it wasn't really needed, just different, and not worth paying any extra for.

The room was fine. Windows sealed well and there wasn't much noise from Hwy 61 so it was worth it. The HVAC wasn't as noisy as some places so this was a major benefit. Wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Room was super clean and decent.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. the location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a nice park. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We thought the value of the room excellent.

TV was a bit on the small side but worked well. No other concerns.

the place was awesome. the staff was totally friendly and welcoming. i go down to red wing 3 to 5 times a year and stay a weekend so will be back.

was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room but it is still good

Lovely little inn just an easy walk or drive to the main part of town. Right near several restaurants. Huge bonus that it included breakfast. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. TV has cable so that was great for the late evening when winding down.

My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that all the cutlery and crockery in the dining area was disposable. I'm really over eating off paper plates and using plastic forks.

The location in the West End was good. The rate was very good. Staff members were personable and very responsive when asked questions and during check-in and checking out.

The breakfast bar was okay but limited in cereal selections and a bit unorganized the first morning, but staff was quick to find things. The first floor hallway was exceptionally cold to the pointvof being uncomfortable.

Size of the room and breakfast options.

There was a fishing tournament in town and several of them stayed at the hotel. They were asked to park their boats in the grass lawn behind the hotel because they took up most of the parking spaces. 1 pickup and boat took up 6 spaces each. Times several of them. The hotel put up signs, but not a single person moved their boats. The manager should have gone out and enforced the issue.

Convenient.

We checked in on friday afternoon 4/6/24, the person that checked us in was not very friendly, it seemed he had something better to do and didnt want to be there. Not welcoming at all, and he checked us out and his personality was the same. To bad because thats the first thing u notice when u check in, makes a person think twice if they will be back.

The breakfast was great. Loved the omlet maker.

the dates on the food in the fridge were past? or is that the date it was packaged. For example, I made breakfast on 11/17, but some of the eggs had dates of 11/13!.. The milk expired on 11/17, which is acceptable, just prefer not the same date I am drinking it.

It was better than most and definitely cleaner.

When I had my do not disturb sign up having someone knock on the door and yell really loud housekeeping next to my room it was so loud I thought it was mine and I got up to answer the door.
