Quite, clean, perfect

I had a couple issues but nothing crazy. 1.) Took the kids swimming. Kids and wife both had issues with their eyes burning and bloodshot because the chemicals were to strong. 2.) No towels at pool or front desk but the 8pm desk lady made sure to get some towels and gave me three. 3.) The lady taking care of or putting breakfast up was alittle pushy about me getting breakfast at 9:05am, but I wouldn’t of still been down there at 9:15 am if when I got there at 8:45am I could of found any means of eatery, (plates, bowls, etc). Besides that, I enjoyed the clean, quiet, peaceful and pleasant stay. I just asked for a late check out, hopefully I get that.

The hotel photos posted match the look of the hotel. The hotel offers a Hot breakfast, which is a nice touch, instead of just the grab & go options. I was disappointed that it didn't have a waffle maker, and it was the same menu all 3 mornings. It offers hot coffee, tea, and chocolate. 4 different cereals, oatmeal, and muffins. Hot food was biscuits, sausage gravy, real scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast and bagels. Milk, cream cheese, peanut butter and jellies. The breakfast area was kept clean, and the staff were pleasant. The room was clean; beds were soft and comfortable, but the pillows were not great. They are the size of a decorative couch pillow square and not super soft. I had a 2 Queen bed suite. I liked that the bathroom had the sink outside so you could be brushing your teeth and putting on makeup while someone else was in the shower. Parking is good & free. The location is super close to everything St. Louis. Approximately 20 minutes to the Arch, St. Louis Aquarium, and within minutes of Swing-A-Around Fun Town for the kids, which we did and played miniature golf, (putt-putt was $9 per person) Go-Karts, and arcade games (costs based on hours selected to play or purchase credits.) Restaurants are close by including a Cracker Barrel in the parking lot, a McDonalds & Bandana's BBQ across the street on Bowles drive, along with Culvers, Applebee's, Viviano's Italian, and Fenton Bar & Grill within a short drive. Gravois Bluff Mall and movie theatre is 10 minutes. There is also a Walmart in the area to purchase anything you might have forgotten. Overall, the hotel was good for our weekend trip, it's in a great location, the hot breakfast is good & saved us money each morning, and I had no plumbing or room issues.

The Hot tub was always dirty and couldn't be used. Children were also allowed to use it including babies which you know are peeing in it or worse. Upon testing the water with my foot, it was not "Hot" at all but the same temperature as the pool. I think there should be an age limit to the use of the Hot tub. This was very disappointing. Also, the hotel states it offers a guest reception with food, but it didn't have one when we visited.

Great location for us as we were visiting six flags then headed south to Elephant Rock State Park but also hitting the St. Louis Zoo!

The bathrooms are small, but clean, the TV channels didn’t line up with what they said they were, breakfast was lacking but there was a Cracker Barrel next door and a great donut shop in Fenton. We had two rooms that adjoined so that was nice. Our AC unit however, was very loud compared to the other room. May just need some maintenance. The Hot tub was freezing and the pool seemed dirty, so we didn’t swim. We stayed Thursday-Sunday so I was hoping to get trash changed and new towels on the second day. But no maid severice ever came. Wasn’t told I needed to request it so not sure what that was about. All in all a good place for our budget and would go back if we planned to go to that area again!

The rooms were very clean. Every staff member was kind, helpful, even sais hello as we pass in the hall or open areas. The water fountain on the first floor was broken with caution tape around it, I read in previous posts it's been that way for a while, not good. The pool ran out of towels so that was a big issue. The breakfast was yummy, there was enough space to sit and eat. The front desk was very kind and helpful. The lobby looks great! We would stay again if in the area.

Issue with no towels for the pool. The broken water fountain that was taped off on the first floor. The parking lot is rough. It needs to be resurfaced for sure.

Forgetful housekeeping staff… We were missing most of the towels and few pillows in our room when we came. Also, they said at first that the room cleaning service is only per request, but the maid just walked in into our room on the second day of our stay…? She saw we were in the room, quickly retreated and knocked at the door. When I opened it, she asked if we need anything. The next day we went out and came back to cleaned up room (without us asking for it). They removed all the towels and placed just 3 bath towels - none of the hand towels, washcloth or bath rug. And removed used soap bar!!! No new replacement. Left their cleaning spay bottle in. I didn’t expect much luxury for the price, but it this is basic stuff… A little more organizations would help.

We really like this well managed and relatively modern hotel with comes with large rooms, a great American breakfast with diverse options, a small gym and a nice pool as well as lots of free parking at a fair price, and which is well surrounded by different food places in Fenton and not too far away from beautiful Kirkwood.

The free of charge wifi is perfectly sufficient to do mails, but unfortunately a bit weak and instable for high quality video calls. Hence, working from the holiday turned out to be challenging. The cleaners are very respectful with regard to privacy and only enter the rooms when empty. While this is great and highly appreciated it should not lead to a situation where the room doesn't get cleaned as the cleaners didn't even try to enter the room since they heard voices in the room.

Facility and rooms very clean, beds really comfy and combination indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.

The biggest issue was just as we arrived to check in, we were advised that the front desk employee had just quit and walked out! Took a while to get checked in and get our room; a manager from the property next door had to be sent over. My only complaint really is that the pool was cold (was advertised as heated) and the hot tub was way toooo hot! Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

The beds were super comfy, at night I didn’t hear a sound from outside of our room, the pool and hot tub area was perfect for the kids (& adults), and breakfast in the morning had a really good selection. The rooms weren’t exactly what we had expected or booked through booking.com, but the front desk did what they could to accommodate us.

It’s apparent that this hotel was recently sold or changed from one company to a different and they are still transitioning. So using a third party to make reservations wasn’t as ideal as could have been.

Location was very convenient, even with the horrible weather the entire staff was absolutely fantastic. This place is truly a hidden gem has been nicely renovated and very nice indoor outdoor poor and hot tub. The full hot breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the staff working it was doing a fantastic job as well with everything running out at once on her she handled herself so gracefully and in the meantime something else broke down her but it was OK she took care of it and everything else on the way. She was fantastic!

The breakfast was ok. Good eggs sausage and yogurt cereals. pancakes machine was broke. Biscuits was hard as rocks. The lady putting out breakfast was rude acted like she hated her job. At one point we asked if there was more sausage bc it was gonna. She got snappy. Then was saying lord not today. Both days biscuts was hard and burnt . Other than that breakfast was good.
