The cleanliness of the property, friendly front desk staff

Forgetful housekeeping staff… We were missing most of the towels and few pillows in our room when we came. Also, they said at first that the room cleaning service is only per request, but the maid just walked in into our room on the second day of our stay…? She saw we were in the room, quickly retreated and knocked at the door. When I opened it, she asked if we need anything. The next day we went out and came back to cleaned up room (without us asking for it). They removed all the towels and placed just 3 bath towels - none of the hand towels, washcloth or bath rug. And removed used soap bar!!! No new replacement. Left their cleaning spay bottle in. I didn’t expect much luxury for the price, but it this is basic stuff… A little more organizations would help.

We really like this well managed and relatively modern hotel with comes with large rooms, a great American breakfast with diverse options, a small gym and a nice pool as well as lots of free parking at a fair price, and which is well surrounded by different food places in Fenton and not too far away from beautiful Kirkwood.

The free of charge wifi is perfectly sufficient to do mails, but unfortunately a bit weak and instable for high quality video calls. Hence, working from the holiday turned out to be challenging. The cleaners are very respectful with regard to privacy and only enter the rooms when empty. While this is great and highly appreciated it should not lead to a situation where the room doesn't get cleaned as the cleaners didn't even try to enter the room since they heard voices in the room.

The beds were super comfy, at night I didn’t hear a sound from outside of our room, the pool and hot tub area was perfect for the kids (& adults), and breakfast in the morning had a really good selection. The rooms weren’t exactly what we had expected or booked through booking.com, but the front desk did what they could to accommodate us.

It’s apparent that this hotel was recently sold or changed from one company to a different and they are still transitioning. So using a third party to make reservations wasn’t as ideal as could have been.

Location was very convenient, even with the horrible weather the entire staff was absolutely fantastic. This place is truly a hidden gem has been nicely renovated and very nice indoor outdoor poor and hot tub. The full hot breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the staff working it was doing a fantastic job as well with everything running out at once on her she handled herself so gracefully and in the meantime something else broke down her but it was OK she took care of it and everything else on the way. She was fantastic!

The breakfast was ok. Good eggs sausage and yogurt cereals. pancakes machine was broke. Biscuits was hard as rocks. The lady putting out breakfast was rude acted like she hated her job. At one point we asked if there was more sausage bc it was gonna. She got snappy. Then was saying lord not today. Both days biscuts was hard and burnt . Other than that breakfast was good.

We had a great stay! Loved the affordable cost. There is an indoor outdoor pool that my kids loved. The room was very clean. The food was great! My son and I share the same birthday. We were there celebrating and going to six flags (less than 10 minutes up the road). The staff saw our birthday shirts and made us homemade birthday cards and gave us some goodies when we got back to their room. Thank you so so much for adding a little extra magic to celebrate my little guy turning 4. Seriously the nicest people working there and so accommodating. We will be back

The property checked all the boxes for being great with the exception of the breakfast. We went down an hour and a half before the closing of breakfast to find a non working pancake machine, no eggs or sausage, bagels, muffins etc. people waited and they put out one item which the many people waiting took again leaving no food. People walked down and left due to the lack of food. Very dissatisfied with the breakfast.

Easy to get to and on the outskirts of the city, but within a ten minute drive of a variety of good restaurants. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had a lot of options to choose from. Room was clean and quiet.

The parking lot had some potholes in it (nothing major). The main entrance to get to the front desk is slightly obscured . Hard to tell where you should go--quite unusual for a hotel. But all in all good.

The beds were comfortable. The extras like shampoo, conditioner, soap dispenser in shower was wonderful because we forgot ours. The microwave, mini fridge was good. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was super! Cook was very busy trying to fix for a hungry crowd.

The pillows were very square and small. Ran out of gravy at breakfast. No big deal. Charged more for the 3rd room I booked. Got 3 rooms wish you had a Family Reunion bargain rate.

Breakfast was good! Bed was very comfortable! Lots of pillows. We had 2 small dogs. The cleaning charge of $30 per dog was annoying. I would be ok with one charge of $30. The charge is also per night. Even if we stayed 2 nights, they would only have cleaned it once. Ice machine on our floor was removed. No luggage carts available. We were on 2nd floor. Many trips required to car.
