Stoney Creek is an amazing hotel. When we first arrived there was a small issue with the fridge in the room. The girl at the front desk, Maria, didn't hesitate and got us into another room very quickly. The breakfast is also very good, they have a pancake machine which my grandson loved. I have staying here since 2016 and it is really the only place I like to stay when I am in town. It is located very close to the highway and allows for easy travel to attractions. Lisa is also amazing, I was able to get late check out, which helped since we are traveling with little ones. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to all of your needs. I also need to shout out to Jacob, I asked for tea and he provided a very good variety for me.

There is really nothing bad about the hotel. The pool was a little oily, but that is it.

It was such a beautiful place. It was just like the photos. Clean and quiet. Parking was easy and the staff were very nice. I loved the bar hours and the breakfast was great. They upgraded my room with no problems and I love that it’s not far from things to do and places to eat. I most definitely will look for the other locations when I travel. This will be a place that I seek anytime I need to get away for a nice weekend.

Only thing that could have made it even better is having a small table on the balcony. Would have loved to eat out there looking over the lake but otherwise it was a fantastic stay.

Loved it here. It was such a surprise. Fireflies at night, dance around the enormously long path that wraps around a lake and some shops. The rooms are huge. The bathroom is huge. There was a microwave and a fridge and a coffee maker in my room my dogs and I hung out while I worked during the day. The breakfast was delicious. They and they have a mini deli with to go items. I love the decor I would go somewhere just to stay at a StoneyCreek.

That they’re not in more states

It is a BEAUTIFUL property. As soon as I walked in I could tell it was going to be an amazing place. There is a whole lake and trails behind the hotel that people can enjoy. I arrived very early and I traveled by bus so I didn’t have a car and I was able to comfortably hang out in the lobby until check in time. They even let me check in two hours before the check in time to accommodate me. The room was SO CLEAN and comfortable. The temperature was just right when I got into the room as well. The hotel staff so was kind as well the check in process was so incredibly easy and smooth. I also ended up only have to pay half of the incidental fee which was so amazing. I was also able to DoorDash whataburger straight to my room!! It was so easy! I slept like a dang baby in that bed too. I love hotels and it’s even better when they are so clean, the staff is wonderful, and make you feel safe.

There was nothing I didn’t like. It was perfect.

There are two highways nearby but I didn't notice any noise from the traffic. As a matter of fact, I didn't notice much noise at all when I was in the room. The bed was very comfortable and, unlike a lot of the other places I've stayed, you don't have to straddle the toilet to close the bathroom door. When you're hungry there are close to a dozen places to eat within a five minute drive.

I use a memory foam pillow. The pillows were so soft that they weren't really of much use to me.

The staff were really nice. From the front desk upon check in but who really stood out was the young woman working the breakfast area. You could tell she enjoyed her job and the customers. Age took a lot of pride in keeping the breakfast area stocked with fresh and hot food.

The couch in our room had some tears in it. I took photos in case we got blamed. I would say the furniture being dated and worn out was the only downside.

The atmosphere is clean and cozy! The staff are friendly and professional and lastly, the rooms are clean. I walked passed the bar and it looks very nice and the breakfast smells good but I have never had it because my trip to Independence is a one day turn around trip.

My only issue is the mattresses need to be rotated and/or replaced more often because the side closest to the night stand is sunken in.

Wonderful hotel - close to I-70 but yet far enough where you don’t have any road noise. The grounds are beautiful and you felt like you are visiting a park. The trails that run by the property were great for our morning walk. Hotel has a bar that was appreciated for those that enjoy a night cap. Staff super attentive. Breakfast had a great assortment to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

Location was good for what we were there for. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast staff was very friendly.

Being told we could have a rollaway then we were denied. We were called that morning said we could have one then when we arrived wasn't in room. Went to frontvdesk and asked she said she'd get one for us. Then when returned it still wasn't in room. When I called front desk she said it was a fire Hazzard that we couldn't get one. Three times we were told we could then huge disappointment in not being able to get one. I would have rented an Airbnb. Maybe that's why your outfit kept lying to us. Frustrating...

The breakfast is always fresh and varies each day, giving you great choices. The hot tub was up and running every day, which was very relaxing. The location is great for anything you want to do while you are visiting Kansas City. The staff is very friendly. Lisa at the front desk always has a smile for everyone. Great customer service.

The only thing I could say that was negative was that the lotion pump was out in the room.
