Everything went excellently well for my stay. I liked the hotel's quiet courtyard layout, my quiet upstairs guest room with electric fire available for cold weather, and cosy Pueblo style/Southwest decor throughout the property. The buildings and grounds look well-tended, including quick snow clearance. Breakfast/lounge area is sunny, bright and cosy, with fireplace and side sofa available. Breakfast selection is good. Jacob the front desk manager deserves special mention. He gave exceptional service with a calm manner and attitude of attentiveness to make the guest feel well looked after. He was quietly efficient with any queries and proactive in making me (a Senior) feel welcome/valued as a guest. For example, without being asked he looked up the nearest a medical clinic for me to see a doctor, and proactively checked on the arrival of my airport shuttle bus. The other staff I met, a nice couple who arranged breakfast were also very friendly and helpful.I My whole experience was of enjoying personalized traditional Inn hospitality.

There was no coffee machine with fixings in my room on arrival ,but Jacob quickly provided one after I asked for it.

We loved everything about this a lovely inn! The Santa Fe Plaza is a 15 minute walk away and even shorter walk to Joseph’s culinary pub with fantastic everything including every dessert beyond your dream. We delighted in every detail of the spacious junior suite with southwestern ambience and experienced the bed to be very comfortable with a wonderful bed Jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower and nice little patio. The couple hosting this special family inn went above and beyond in every way. They helped us late at night and provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Five star professional attention to detail day and night. We have found while traveling that the extra touches like a beautiful southwestern handmade nightlight for trips to the bathroom in the dark, are surprisingly few and far between. This couple, and their love for people, this place, and what they do for a living, makes this Inn simply unforgettable and brings back memories of the good ole days. Guadalupe Inn provided home away from home comfort at a much better price and value than any other place we have stayed in New Mexico. Actually, maybe the whole USA, this place is the cherry on top in priceless! (I also liked they had a way to tip whoever spotlessly cleaned our suite with Venmo. Once again, for me,‘it’s the small details that really measure up. To exceptional value and five star recommendation! 😉❤️✅✅✅✅✅

Not one thing

The inn has a nice, local adobe architecture that insulates heat very well and keeps rooms cool. It changes your experience when you stay at a place made of local architecture than a generic chain h(m)otel. The rooms are spacious and furniture well-organized, the interior was moderately decorated as the rest of the inn, with a vibe that makes me comfortable to stay for a long time. The inn owner was very friendly and curious about guests. He has an adorable outdoor cat! The lounge / office / breakfast area was nice and cozy. Everything was very beautiful, local, and cozy. Parking was abundant but the lot didn't block roads or take too much space from the city since it was in the rear, not on the street. Location was perfect and everything downtown was within walking distance. The wi-fi signal was uneven in different locations but the owner was very quick to respond to text and allowed late night work in the lounge / breakfast area. I wish we stayed longer!

Check in was very easy and LeAnn and Alan were incredibly warm and welcoming. The location was perfect- quiet yet easy to walk to the plaza and to some great restaurants. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and a nice little balcony area. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was definitely a step above the typical hotel continental type of breakfast that is usually served. We loved staying at Guadalupe Inn and meeting the managers and only regret that it was such a short visit.

Nothing- everything was great

Wonderful experience. Alan was the best. Hospitable and good conversations. He was attentive and sincere. B&B was so quaint and colorful. Close to downtown plaza, Loretto Chapel, and other festive events. Nice breakfast spread and so peaceful. Woke up to beautiful birds singing every morning. Loved the art and images of Our Lady of Guadalupe placed throughout.

Recommend bringing a fan in summer. The A/C in our room cooled the one room where the unit was located. Took a while to cool the other room but was bearable. Did have a fireplace which will be useful in winter months.

I’ve already stayed twice at this property and it’s because of the couple that manage it. They make having a good experience to Santa Fe their person a mission. The parking and location make walking all things in the old town city center a joy! This is not a big chain hotel doing a job. These are people who love Santa Fe sharing their knowledge and experience.

I liked being in the smaller building with a ground level floor. Walking luggage up even 1 flight of stairs can be annoying when my arthritis acts up. Fortunately they told me about Ojo Hot Springs which is a great day visit if you love soaking in mineral hot springs under the open skies.

So quaint and cozy! I had to book at the last minute because I was trapped in town longer than expected by a snow storm. David at the front desk was so kind and accommodating and helped get a room ready for me earlier in the day so I didn’t have to be out in town during the storm. In the meantime, the fireplace and refreshments in the lobby were so cozy and comforting. And the electric fireplace and jacuzzi tub in my room were perfect to help me thaw and relax after a harrowing drive out of the mountains and back to town. It was also great that they had covered parking! The short distance (same street) to the Guadalupe Shrine was perfect for me to make a Saturday vigil Mass without having to drive far in the snow. And I loved learning about the cool history of the property and the native New Mexican family who runs this inn! Our Lady of Guadalupe’s motherly care was very present, and I loved that.

Front door lock was a little finicky and didn’t seem super secure. That was the only thing.

Great location. The host and the hostess- Alan and LeAnn were very gracious and accommodated my request for early checking. They offer complimentary breakfast that is delicious. The room was clean, spacious with a lovely patio. I was a solo female traveler so the fact that the inn was walking distance from Railyard district as well as downtown plaza was very helpful.

I was on the ground floor and the room above me had a VERY squeaky floorboard. So I was woken up few times at night when the guest above me decided to walk around.

I loved everything about the property! The authentic feel and look, the decorations, and local inspired art were a delight. Our hosts, Alan and Lianne, gave us the most warm and friendly greeting, and we felt so welcome. Alan then gave us a comprehensive history of the building and the local area in general, marked the guide map with all the places of interest, all within walking distance of the Inn, and recommended local restaurants and cafes. We decided we needed to stay a second night based on Alan's suggestions. We can't speak highly enough of this because as we are visitors from Australia, we came not really knowing what to look at or where to go. Guided by his map, we had an amazing walking tour of the city and tried to see as much as possible. In truth, we would have loved a third night if time permitted. The included breakfast, continental with many extras, was far more than we expected. Lianne has created a warm and cosy atmosphere in the dining room with the seasonal decorations and the wood fire, and we could not have asked for more. Thank you to our gracious hosts who made our stay in Santa Fe so exceptional and memorable. Highly recommended. We hope to return.

A great little family run B&B! We ended up extending our stay three nights, so we tried two different rooms. The twin room was small but nice and clean. The second room was two queens and was extremely spacious and had a soaking tub. The breakfast is solid and the owners and staff are extremely responsive and helpful. The location is great too- you can walk to the Plaza in 18 min and there are a bunch of great restaurants nearby. I would for sure stay here again.

Not really a downside, but just a note that the fitness center and pool listed are not onsite- they are at a sister hotel 1 mile away.
