Room was comfortable and hotel was trendy. Staff was kind. Pleasantly quiet given its location and near a lot of fun shops/restaurants. Ten minute walk from the subway.
The bed was really low to the ground and the shower didn't have a door. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

The front staff and everyone was fantastic. Location is very convenient. Only ask is in the shower, even with the bath mat, the water leaks a little. Breakfast could have more items, pretty light.

The coffee and breakfast situation. I asked the front desk where breakfast was, they tell me to go to the restaurant downstairs. I ask for coffee, they say its only in the lobby. So the only coffee available was the free coffee in the lobby, when the breakfast menu online says there are lattes, cappuccinos, and espresso-based coffee drinks. Also the coffee in the lobby tasted terrible and there wasn't half-and-half or oat milk. Just a really awful morning experience for somewhere we paid $450 to stay.

Liked the shower plenty of hot water. Option of change of bed linen at no extra cost. Great selection of teas and coffee was good. Staff very polite and helpful. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants very close by. Close to the subway into Manhattan within minutes.
The bed was comfortable but was a little too low. Quiet room but noisy in the corridors and the door to our room was difficult to open. Would prefer to have a fridge in the room and it would have been more relaxing also to have a kettle in the room to make hot drinks.

I don’t usually write reviews about hotels but this one deserves it! In the beginning i was not sure about this property because my husband was the one who chose the hotel. But at the end I ended up loving it. -First of all if you are afraid because is not in Manhattan, don’t be. The subway is only a couple of small blocks away(6). And in this blocks there are a plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries. This neighborhood is called Williamsburg and is really charming. Also during the night when we returned to the hotel we felt super safe. -Second of all the staff is super friendly. -Every day 24/7 at the lobby you have coffee, tea, granola bars, apples and bananas. I have to say don't expect a luxurious hotel, it is not. However, it is a hotel that has everything you need on a trip to NYC. The rooms are standard size like those you could find anywhere in the country. They are not as small as I have heard are in New York. We got a king size bed, the pillows were super comfortable. The mattress is not the best i have ever tried in my life but is also very comfortable. The bedding is super cozy. In the wardrobe you can find an umbrella for rainy days. -We stayed for 7 days and 6 of them they cleaned the room. Every cleaning day they gave us clean towels. I left the 2 most important things for the last of the review: You always have hot water in the shower and the water pressure is abundant. And above all i have said here is the most important thing…the temperature of the room is always warm during the winter. This was my biggest fear, being cold because in some hotels they control the A/C (air conditioning)to save on electricity. But in this hotel you could sleep in summer clothes. So I have nothing else to say just thank you so much CODA HOTEL.
Nothing. You get what you pay considering the prices in NYC. 10/10. If you want luxuries this place is not for you. You will have to pay for them. I can't say anything about the pool. I went in winter and I didn't even get close to it.

I think this is my first time giving a 10, and it’s very subjective—unfortunately, I got very sick on my last day, so I spent the whole day in their amazing lounge downstairs. No one bothered me, and I was able to rest peacefully, for which I’m very thankful! Now for the objective part: they offer coffee, tea, and snacks/fruits 24/7, which was great. The location is a short walk to the metro, making it easy to get around New York. The hotel was always quiet, and the room itself was very comfortable and cleaned daily. We had a heating issue, but they resolved it immediately.
All good

Great location, helpful staff, and a functional room set up. The staff were friendly and attentive and they were warm in their communication with all the guests from what I observed. The bed and desk were really comfortable and the TV with direct Netflix very handy. My only concerns were that the there was a sink in my bathroom that leaked into the floor when you used it, which worried me a bit and nowhere to hook the bath towels adequately when you showered. Breakfast was rather minimal and for some reason I recalled that as one of the selling points. That said, fantastic options nearby if you plan your timing. I would definitely return.

Now, a lot of people may pick The William Vale over Coda perhaps but - having stayed at both over a two week period - I would pick Coda. Far better business facilities (various spaces and areas,) a lobby you can actually wait in without feeling like you’re waiting at the doctors, and essentially the same location. Great team there, helped us out endlessly (shout out to Sim) and right off Bedford Ave. I’d put my team in the Coda again but not the WV.
Breakfast set to was a bit bonkers and am so bored of Brooklyn hotels not having baths, but hey - that’s Brooklyn, not Coda.

Excellent. We stayed in the off season which meant the pool was closed and that was perfect for us as we were travelling with our toddler. We were impressed by how child friendly it was. The rooms were big (not just "big for New York" but generally big), loads of space for travel cot and luggage and still room to move. The staff were super helpful and accommodating and very responsive to us. I genuinely felt like they were working very hard and maybe that was overlooked by other guests. It's also a very convenient location. We used to live in the area before moving away and found it super convenient not just for visiting all our local haunts but also getting into Manhattan too.
My only feedback is that a coffeemaker in the room would be super useful, but we were super appreciative of the tea and coffee facilities in the lobby which were always fresh and replenished even on our very early jet lag wakeups!

Good location. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable. The bathroom is big and modern. The highlight was the 21+ pool that was free for the hotel guest (make sure to reserve the beds). They provide free bottled water and provide coffee and tee downstairs. The adjacent restaurant (Meili) is amazing, you can also have small bites at the rooftop. The garage next to the hotel is very affordable.
I really did miss a mini fridge. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice as well.
