I genuinely don’t know why this place has a low rating, I was extremely happy with my stay!! The suite was absolutely huge!! It was clean, very comfortable, cozy, a nice big shower, had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was also next to the station which takes you straight into downtown Brooklyn and all the way to manhattan and Central Park. The line also goes straight to the airport! It really was a perfect place to stay. New York is a very expensive place so of course i think all the hotels here are overpriced but this was one of the cheapest I found and compared to the others I found for the same cost it was very good value for money.

Sort the lift out before someone gets stuck in it! ☺️ But nothing!!

They don't serve breakfast and they don't have a parking lot i got a 115.00 ticket I ran upstairs to get something I come down and there's a ticket on my car the person at the front desk said there's nothing I can do about it

In-room facilities (fridge / coffee maker etc), good sleeping options for our family needs, nicely decorated with plenty of space in the suite, close to public transport links , good shower. After reading some of the less positive reviews, it was a big relief that things were so good once over the threshold.

The elevator sounded like it needed a service, creaky and unnerving with cables exposed. Strong cigarette smoke smell in lobby. Minor things.

I really enjoyed the Room space. It was the perfect size and I enjoyed the decor portraying vintage Brooklyn covering the walls with brick interior. This is my go to hotel when I'm in the Brooklyn area.

The price was a bit much but inflation is real. I didn't see the breakfast or coffee bar in the lobby setup in the morning but I was checked out earlier than usual.

The staff are really nice, they help you the best they can. They make you feel welcome right when you go in.

Some guests are a little weird, but if you keep to yourself and mind your business, nothing bad happens.

The room did what we need it too and it had a safe . A minor problem we had was we reported the shower would not switch from rain head. It was not addressed however they may have looked at it and may have required a part ? The AC was excellent and any time we requested service or consumables there was a quick response.

The room would have benefited from a 2nd chair.

The hotel is located near an underground station, which makes it really convenient for a tourist to move around the city. The beds are also very comfortable, so after a long walk you get a good night's sleep. The room includes a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker so even if you do not purchase meals, you can bring in whatever you like and manage with that.

The only thing we were missing in the morning was enough capsules for the coffee machine. There were 4 of us in the room and only two coffees and two teas so we had to make a deal. However, the hotel staff was very nice so I am pretty sure that if we asked for more, we'd get more (there was no time for that, that's all).

the rooms are beautiful and we love the bathroom setup with the shower having the cloudy glass which you see from the bade from the main area

the location is on a dead block and it’s a little dark. I’m good fine with it but I can see how some people might be put off

we got a big room, The beds were very comfy, big TV, nice shower, close to Metro Station, nice view from the Rooftop, in the room we had coffee machine, microwave and fridge, were super convenient. In general the room was pretty and cozy. Quiet at night and nice blackout curtains, we slept well.

Hotel is a bit worn out, although is nice, doesn’t look like the photos, seems like was very nice before but needs maintenance, was clean but doors were missing, some lights didn’t work, and so on, the area is a bit sketchy in the night but we didn’t feel unsafe, in general we enjoyed the stay. TV didn’t work for couple of days but they fixed it, the heater was super high and we had a hard time for 2 nights, was too hot but again the staff was nice finding the solution. Our expectations were too high for the photos, although, was good enough.

Adding a continental breakfast would be a great perk.

Old pillows, but they gave me new ones, and the room was dusty. There were a few stains on the carpet and a burn mark in a few places. Overall I know it was a previous guest who destroyed the place.
