Haroon at the reception desk was extremely polite, he made my check in smooth even though a little early than the check in time of the hotel. Room was spacious, clean. AC was good, allowed both heating and cooling, Breakfast didn't have many options, yet was good and fresh. Wifi was good and free.

Only thing I missed was a kitchen and restaurant on the hotel. I went to New York for an exam, and was in the room for most of the time, so couldn't go out for food. Although, there was a Deli nearby and an Indian Restaurant nearby, they allowed outside food to be delivered at my room, which made my meals easier.

The check-in person (a woman - I don't recall learning her name) was wonderful. I checked in on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 4. Breakfast was excellent. On Saturday AM, I asked the attendant if there was pepper, and she said 'no'. A few minutes later, she showed up at my table with pepper. That was great! The bagels, eggs, coffee, etc. were very good! Room was very good! All the amenities. Parking was very convenient.

The room cards were flaky. They need to be kept away from credit cards and other "magnetic interference". Too bad. I had inadvertently booked too early - Jan. 3 - but booking.com wouldn't allow me to get a refund. I understand, but it was a shame, esp. because this trip was solely due to a family emergency.

The location allowed us to visit places in Nassau County and NYC by car. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the appliances were functional and easy to operate. Breakfast was very good and gave a great start to our busy days.

The shower dispensers were too high for tub bathers. Little disposable cups like they have for ketchup at fast food places would solve that problem of tub safety.

One of the outlets next to the bed didn’t work. Had to choose between using lamp or my CPAP machine. Informed front desk but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Did not offer an extension cord for me to use. Fire alarm went off during our stay. We walked down 5 flights and around building to front entrance but were told this happens when shower steam sets off the sensors.

This is an old hotel, but the rooms were clean and spacious. The coffee was great, and breakfast was not bad. They have two elevators, and one was broken for 3 days I stayed. If you are only concerned with sleeping there, then this is good. There is an exotic Cuban restaurant within walking distance. Garden City has plenty of Thai restaurants.

Convenient.

1. One of the two elevators wasn’t working. The one elevator that did work was very slow. 2. Both key cards didn’t work on the afternoon that I checked in. So it was another long wait, a journey from the 5th floor with my luggage back to the lobby to get keycards that did work, and another long wait to return with my luggage to the 5th floor. The second time, I get into the room. 3. The next morning after breakfast it was the same thing with non-working key cards. Really makes me wish I had stayed in an AirBnb, where there are no trips back and forth to the 5th floor.

It was clean, break fast included & parking

Air conditioning was very loud, all pillows were the same & lumpy, light by my side of bed did not work. There was a crowd of people in the parking lot below that woke me up. Not getting solid sleep affected my opinion. I think for $250 I should be able to get a good nights rest! My husband was disappointed there was no bacon or sausage at breakfast.

Clean, comfortable stay

We went down to breakfast at 9:30 and it was already being cleaned up(closes at 10). No waffle mixture left (I asked if there was more and got a snarky no) and only a couple of sad looking apples. We ended up having a bagel and an English muffin with jam

clean facility, helpful staff! breakfast was delicious! I left dresses and jackets in my hotel rooms closet and called 2 hours later. the woman at front desk on Sunday after I checked out called me back and assured my belongings were safe. the manager at front desk was very nice and I was able to quickly retrieve my belongings before traveling home! thank you
