I chose this place out of my genius level discount and the location of all the restaurants in all of the stores in the area in a location nearest my family member. The front desk man in front desk girl mostly the nightman. I'm drawing a blank on his name. I think it was Chad. He was a terrific front desk man. One of the best I've ever met over the last 20 years. He made sure that my 5-year-old daughter had a cot in the room clean and ready to use. And my 16 years old son and my wife Kara and I slept comfortably in the double beds. Was very quiet at night and peaceful. The swimming pool was great and deep just a tad cold for the month of August. I highly recommend a family stay here. Also it was pleasant to meet the tradesman in the parking lot late at night to as I'm a career tradesman also. Union iron worker.

Was a very comfortable 1 night stay. Good value for what we paid. We got a room on the ground floor overlooking the parking and very close to the secondary exits. The room was clean & comfortable. Sufficient towels were provided. Five stars for the location. It was just across the road from an Olive Garden, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, JCPenny etc at the mall. And like a 2 minute drive to Target, Kohls! Perfect for doing quick shopping runs or immediate grocery. Also in the adjacent building is another big grocery store. I love that its just off the highway and makes for a great rest stop. Breakfast at the hotel was decent too - scrambled eggs were a little runny & tasted weird, but I'm sure some people like their eggs runny, I don't. There were muffins, different bagels, bread with some spreads, sausage and cereal. Coffee & juice options. And yes a wonderful pancake maker. Check-in & check-out was smooth.

I think the only complaint I had was the bed had really high small-square pillows like the ones on a couch. Also, we weren't informed of a pool and a gym or we would've checked them out.

The staff were always pleasant, helpful, and notably available, as I am generally up throughout the night, and there was always a staff member visible at the front desk. As Continental breakfasts go, this one covered all the bases, the highlight being the reliably well-prepared eggs and sausage patties. Also, a toaster station with all the expected spreadables: butter, jelly, peanut butter, and cream cheese for bagels, Cereal station, three types of mini muffin (blueberry, lemon poppy seed, and... maple walnut?), and drink station with coffee and juice. The bed linens were clean, with a faint, but reassuring, scent of bleach. Don't be put off by its massive, often empty, parking lot. This venerated I-81 hotel holes a lot of overnight travelers. I, also, like their charging station alarm clocks, with three prong outlets, and, both USB and USB type-c ports. I was there for 3 days working with a two screen computer setup, and a projector. And, had brought extension cords in anticipation of a limited outlet situation. But, the charging stations made it SO much simpler.

I DID find a receipt and pen cap from a prior occupant underneath the bed skirt, while I was cleaning up for checkout. But, that's about it.

The food tasted great and everyone was super friendly. The room was clean. The price was a great value for the area.

Breakfast hours are limited only between 6:30 and 9 am even when the hotel was fully booked making it hard to get breakfast. Asked for turn down service on day 3 of our 4 night stay and no one came even after making our room overflow with trash. The bathroom is too tight making it dangerous for falls and the door would get stuck making it easy to get locked in. Elevators sound like they are going to break down at any second. The mattresses are really old and need to be replaced but I have stayed at more uncomfortable places. The bar was open for us only because of the solar eclipse that was taking place but usually the bar is closed Sunday through Thursday meaning it would have been closed almost the whole stay which would have made me very unhappy if that had happened.

The front staff member who checked us in, immediately looked for a connecting room for us and found one. Breakfast was hot and served fresh every morning. Location was perfect, we traveled from Picton Ontario, just for leisure and shopping. Ramada was right in the middle of everything. We were even able to walk to the grocery store to stock up on snacks. This was the most cost effective hotel for what we were doing, and it was perfect! We intend on staying here every time we go back!

The hotel is a bit dated, but I appreciated that we didn't have any carpet in our rooms.

We picked this particular hotel for the pool. The grounds are beautiful. THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND HAS BEEN FOR MONTHS. I am super disappointed. No compensation was offered no notice of the pool being closed on any website, including the corporate site. This is not acceptable. We are actually loyalty members at another hotel in the area where we would have stayed but decided to try the Ramada because of the outdoor pool.

The location is excellent for shopping and close to the highway. Easy to get to and from any location. Comfortable beds. Adjoining rooms. Wifi. Great parking located at the door and not far from the elevator. Free breakfast.

Minor stuff like the TV was not working great until we moved it. The curtains didn’t close all the way. The coffee in the room was awful. Had to wait a while for the water in the bathroom to be hot.

Location, parking, room was clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed spending time outside in the gazebo. Breakfast was good - but by the 3rd day it would have been nice to have some different choices - yogurt maybe and a selection of fruit? Bacon instead of sausage?

No fan in the bathroom and there was black mold on the ceiling.

Room was spacious, we liked the wooden floor (cleaner than carpet), beds were not too soft, could have been firmer. Breakfast was what you expect from a hotel like this.

Pool was not open in morning, preventing us of a morning swim before check-out. Gym was very poor, just 3 machines in a former hotel room.

The room and sheets were clean, and everything was in working order. Loved the makeup wipes! Had enough towels for me, my husband, and my baby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed using the pancake maker for breakfast. Liked the yogurt station too, was able to feed my 8 month old baby some breakfast. Tried the piano near the elevator, was happy it was working, played for a little bit. Lots of parking space. Location of the hotel was good, near restaurants and walmart and mall; super convenient. Wasn't able to use the pool due to time constraints with our schedule, maybe next time.

Wish they had a laundry bag in the rooms, but not much of a deal breaker.
