The early breakfast was good and a good selection of breakfast food including fruits and yogurts. Even though the motel is old and the rooms a little musky, they were very clean and quiet.

They wanted $35 for early check in. This was a real turn off. The bathroom had no sink stoppers nor did the bathtub. My wife being handy capped and can't stand for a shower made this a poor situation an d the staff was not helpful until the next day and the greeter on the 1st day was not particulary friendly. Even though the motel is quite old, the rooms were very clean but smelled moldy.

They had fresh bacon and eggs, bagels, cereals, muffins, fruit, many different kinds of drinks so they had all kinds of stuff. You definitely could’ve made a good breakfast at the bar.

The bed could’ve had a little bit more padding, more like a pillow top and a regular regular mattress

Great location just off Interstate exit, nicely updated room with fridge, microwave and very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom-liked the adjustable shower head and LOVED the heat lamp(can’t find these in hotel bathrooms anymore!). Desk clerk on arrival was very friendly and helpful. Coffee was good and breakfast looked great but I unfortunately didn’t have time to eat..not the hotel’s fault, I got up too late. The room was a great value for the price.

Minor complaints: I had a little trouble manipulating the shower handle and the tv was a bit small and I couldn’t find a program guide function.

Continental Breakfast was okay but could have a little improvement i.e have had regular size muffins rather than little mini ones and perhaps some hard boiled eggs as we have seen in other hotels.

Everything about this hotel was great except for the WiFi but that’s a first world problem

it was very clean, bathroom and bedroom.

when you come in from the door at the back, the smell of cleaner or something is very strong. Once you pass the back entrance into the hall it smells better. The potatoes at breakfast were not very good.

The king suite was great - very clean, strong hot shower, and did include a refrigerator and microwave. It was located right near numerous restaurants (Indian, Japanese, Health Food, Italian, Chinese, Historic Diners, etc.), as well as right near major shopping centers (Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Ollie's, malls, etc.). There's a great 4.5 mile bike path on the western end of Watertown. Sackets Harbor is only about 10 miles from this Travelodge. Cape Vincent, Clayton and Alex Bay are also within an easy drive, as is the Canadian border.

The continental breakfast was somewhat sparse, but at least there was one. And the overall price was right!

The staff was great. The hot breakfast was awesome. Very quiet.

There were a couple of times that the handicap parking was taken by car with no handicap placard. Other than that, nothing else.

We checked in well past midnight, and the night clerk told us the hotel has a no pets policy, but he would make an exception because we notified them earlier about hour Husky. We were also running late in morning, and I asked for a late checkout, and they gave me unitl Noon free of charge. This was very helpful to us in both cases.

Breakfast is not included.

Room had a musty odor and drains were not working properly (not plugged up, just sitting beside the tub and sink versus being installed)
