Food was excellent, Canteen in the lobby was very convenient, especially late at night. The staff were very helpful and eager to please. Some more than others but overall, very accommodating. Pool was very clean and nice to have. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable with a small refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. The beds were very comfortable and supportive. The location is great as it is within walking distance to many desirable restaurants and the Westchester Mall etc.

Only thing I didn't like was I checked in early and was told it would be a $25 check in early fee. even thought the room was available. My cousin checked in early, and they never said anything about an early check in fee. I just think there should not be an early check in fee, and it should be the same across the board, Other than that, it was great.

The guy behind the desk was very friendly and check in was easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing is they charge you for every little thing (parking/coffee/tea) understandable for a nice hotel though. Room service was fast and the food was good but there were many added fees (service fee/delivery fee/12% mandatory gratuity) also tipped on top because I was confused but it’s ok. Other than the extra fees for everything it was a wonderful stay and super clean which we really appreciate.

My room was clean and comfortable. The lobby, bar, and restaurant areas were attractive and convenient. The staff was gracious and helpful. For example, I was traveling with a friend and had booked two rooms online. Afterward, I called the property and requested that our rooms be in quiet locations in the hotel, even if that meant that they wouldn't be near each other. The staff person was friendly and sounded truly interested in meeting that need if possible. When we arrived, both rooms were at the ends of corridors, away from foot traffic.

The heaters in the rooms were a bit noisy, though not enough to interfere with sleep.

The staff was kind, the property was very nice, everything looked nice, was well done etc. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, the shower was a little confusing to get the shower started actually, but we did end up figuring it out!

The only real complaint was the view from our room was of a large pit where another building had been demolished. However I don't really blame Sonesta for this, they cannot really control these sorts of things, so I am not really "marking them down" so to speak.

Room was recently renovated on the 12th floor. We paid $30 a night extra for this. It was worth it. Housekeeping was excellent. Every staff member that we came in contact was friendly and helpful.

The parking garage needs some attention. The elevator areas are filthy. Not just dirty, but filthy. Took away all the classiness of the hotel. I fixed the refrigerator. It was freezing our drinks. I turned the dial down.

I compliment your staff on the cleanliness of the room(530) The bed was fine, however, my husband said the pillows would not compress, as if you stepped on a balloon. The room was very nice, well lit, however you could not see the time on the clock radio well. There was a constant drown from outside equipment all ight & it was difficult to sleep our first ight. We were probably nervous thinking of our task the next day too. We slept well the second night. Fire alarm & C02 detector, even though I always bring my own Parking was easy. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. As we were leaving, I noticed you had a Dale Chihuly light sculpture. You really should have a plaque to highlight the world renowned glass artist and his work. (red glass ceiling sculpture near the snacks) A larger sculpture like this is showcased in front of the Musée Des Beaux-Arts in Montréal, Québec! (Sonesta White Plains, new york)

There was nothing drastically wrong during our stay, that we would say we didn't like. We travel a lot and always make do with each place we've stay in within reason, and have been fortunate to stay in places where we didn't find much wrong.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta in White Plains. I took my mother for a Mother's Day getaway weekend and we got the opportunity to stay at the recently renovated rooms... it did not disappoint. Thank you Mohammed for the top notch customer service! The construction going on above us was bit of nuisance but otherwise it was okay.

First the shuttle driver hung around until we left baggage claim. We really appreciated that. We didn't get his name but he was West Indian and he picked us up from. Westchester Airport around 1:30pm, Thursday 16 March. Second, the Front desk clerk Melissa. She's on point knowledgeable and professional. Please keep her. The location is prime. Great dining options, malls, and Metro North were in all within a decent range.

Having to leave so soon. The Sonesta is our go-to place whenever in New York.

Comfortable room, very comfortable bed, good shower and plenty of lay down area in the bathroom. Cleaning throughout hotel was to a high standard, and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was also good - close to mall and easy walk to numerous restaurants.

We were staying for 10 days - drawer and hanging space was limited, but hotel provided additional hangars to assist. Sound proofing to corridors could be improved - it's a popular wedding venue, and guests returning late at night were pretty merry but noisy. Same seemed to apply to air crew departing in early morning.

Very large comfortable room with all amenities and well appointed bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Location slightly out of the centre, but easy to get to and very handy for The Cheesecake Factory (highly recommended although choosing was difficult as the menu was like a book) and Westchester Mall
