We had to stay over in Charlotte due to a cancelled flight. We had a short Lyft drive to the hotel. The lobby upon check in was loud because the bar is right in the lobby. Our room was small but we didn't care because it had everything we needed, including squeeze bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the wall in the shower. There's even a hairdryer in the bathroom in a cute little tote. The sheets are so soft! We also liked the actual clock on the bedside table. There is free coffee in the lobby and the hotel's airport shuttle picked us up at 5:00AM as promised. We were happy with our brief stay.

Close to the airport with a free hotel shuttle. All staff, including the shuttle driver, were friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions, willing to help and assist wherever they could to make us feel welcome. The hotel had a clean, fun, friendly vibe. Breakfast was well thought out with something for everyone. Pool table, TV, food and drinks around the reception area was a bonus. Rooms were on the small side but well thought out, clean and with everything you need.

Beds super comfy. Great workout room. Loved the little shaving shelf in shower. Staff were amazing. I arrived at 10pm and had to leave to the airport next day by 5:30am. When I scheduled the shuttle they realized I'd miss breakfast and quickly packed me a sack breakfast to take with me. Extremely thoughtful and it was a godsend.

The black out blind was dark. However, there was light coming in from the sides and as I faced the parking lot more light than I would have liked. Slept very well anyway.

Everything is nice and clean, and the location is good

It's just that a nice place, like Tru Compare to the many other hotels I booked.Tru has no microwave in the room. Other hotels that's less better than true have a microwave in the room. we have to go to the lobby to reheat our food and it's not convenient for us. It just doesn't make sense to me.

TRU is a new (to me, anyway) brand under the Hilton chain. This one shares a building with a Hampton Inn. Everything here was new, squeaky clean and very contemporary looking. The other half of the hotel is a Hampton Inn, a much older Hilton brand. I guess they are trying to offer two options under one roof: the old and familiar and the new and glitzy. Or, are they phasing out Hampton? I don't know. Anyway, the room was clean and nice, the staff friendly, and we got a good price for a quick stop on our way elsewhere. No complaints.

The location is reasonable close to the motorway, and the name implies it's close to the airport (I was driving) but there isn't much in the way of food, or anything else, in the immediate vicinity.

Breakfast was ok, even better if started earlier. Regularly starts at 6 but at this location was at 6:30 which can be late for people looking to arrive early tot eh airport for their flights.

The meal options provided at the lobbie are ok, but the selection is limited. Restaurant options at walking distance will be nice.

8/202 I loved everything about this hotel, literally everything. To be honest, I feel picky when rating hotels because I’m a light sleeper and usually only like to sleep in one place (my bed). The hotel was very clean, modern and the rooms were quiet. The service was excellent from before checking in and all the way through checkout. The staff made sure we had what we needed, our accommodations were met, and I honestly loved that they emailed me the receipt before checkout and the final receipt at checkout (why can’t more places do this?) Can’t forget the complimentary water at check-in… they knew we were dehydrated. There was many chairs and places to lounge/ relax. Almost every seat and table had a USB port and outlet to plug-in your electronic devices. I didn’t get to checkout the bar, but it was lively. The gym was outstanding and wasn’t solely cardio machines, but actually had weights. So 10/10 there. I would revisit again, and definitely recommend this hotel. Even if you are visiting Downtown, the drive was only about 15-20 minutes, so it was well worth it to have top notch service and quality beds / sleep. If your bag gets lost in luggage, no worries, the rooms have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap. The desk was WELL stocked with goodies and necessities too. Final comment, I liked that the AC unit was not the loud type that wakes you up every-time it kicks on.

My only wish is that they had regular scrambled eggs without bell peppers for breakfast.

The property is very clean, well-kept and in a great location near the Charlotte Airport. It was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay prior to our flight.

Our room's thermostat seemed to run warm making it more challenging to sleep. Not a deal breaker, but something to note. The rooms are small, but fine for an overnight stay.

Shuttle service and drivers were excellent! Entire facility was exceptionally clean. Exercise room was larger than the majority of hotels I've stayed at and the equipment was in good condition.

I booked thru booking.com and it was cumbersome. I much prefer to call hotels directly and book my room and shuttle if needed.

Tru Lake Pointe was conveniently located next to the airport. I was shuffled to and from the airport with car parking the duration of my trip. Everything went as planned and the property was very clean and had everything I needed. Each staff member was helpful either over the phone or in person. The breakfast spread is for champions! Thanks Tru for making my stay nice.

The shuttle service had a longer wait than told on my request Rivne picked up from airport. May have been a miscommunication. I waited 30 minutes.
