Had an extremely difficult scheduling with this hotel due to third party sources. I will however say that when I arrived, a lovely front desk AM employee by the name of Patricia made things so much better. She was genuine, accommodating, and turned the entire experience around during my stay. Well played ma’am, thank you for the hospitality!

Scheduling online.

This is the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at the Hampton in Massillon over the last year. We have always entered through the main doors to the lobby. They have always worked. However, the doors did not open when we approached them around 1:00 p.m. It was a bit frustrating. Once we parked again, entered through another level and set of doors, Mary explained. She was very professional and accommodating. She checked on us after we had been there about 20 minutes. I asked for a walk-in shower and we had one. The stay was another good experience for us!

Getting in the doors (or not getting in the main doors) was frustrating. We figured it out.

The breakfasts were all good. The room was very spacious and clean.

When I booked the room through Booking.com, it was listed at $91.00 per night plus my pet fee, but when I was billed, I was billed $151.00 per night plus my pet fee. Since I had passed my cancellation date, I had no choice but to accept this rate. I blame Booking.com for misleading me on the room rate. The work desk should be located on the side of the TV closest to the door in as when you are sitting at the work desk, the AC freezes you out, making it very uncomfortable trying to get any work done.

Convenient location for volleyball tournament

They overbooked the double queen rooms and asked every single person if they would be willing to switch to a king .. nobody really could due to the large group not willing to sleep in one king bed.. so until it came down to that last person checking in and they ran out of the double queen rooms they forced that last person to change to a king bed without offering two king rooms. I also wish there was a pool.

Staff was very helpful. Patricia at the front desk was very helpful and professional. She helped keep us comfortable while we waited on our room since we were a little early. The room was nice and very clean.

My husband thought the bed was too firm but I thought it was very comfortable.

We especially liked the options offered for the breakfast, outstanding quality of foods offered, and the staff was amazing. Thanks for asking. The room was nice, neat and clean during our stay and will look forward to staying again there on future trips. Thanks again for asking.

Parking is convenient, the staff was great & really helpful (especially Patricia & the breakfast lady), breakfast was delicious; breakfast area super clean. Enjoyed the stay 😄

Room door is heavy, & no way to leave it slightly ajar to go across the hall for ice or whatever. I'm guessing we weren't close to the water heater - took awhile to get hot water.

The staff is very friendly!!! The rooms are extremely clean, and the beds were comfy. Good selection at breakfast. The morning breakfast lady is really nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

As you walked down the stairs it was rather dirty especially when you got to the bottom I was really a little surprised being a Hampton.
