The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Really, that's all I need. Thank you The free wine tasting in the lobby was great after a long drive. Morning breakfast is solid but nothing to write home about. The Keurig coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. For those visiting Ashland, this is absolutely perfect if you want a hotel experience rather than cute B&B. We walked to 2 plays and 2 restaurants very easily.

Nothing. I have stayed there twice and will return. The only reason that I wouldn't stay there again is if I was feeling super rich and wanted to spend four to five times more on a Bed and Breakfast.

We had a king suite so it had a sofa and a bed. It had a refrigerator and Keurig coffee that was decent. You can take your own breakfast because the hotel breakfasts are lacking. All was comfortable. The grounds are nice and located in walking distance from all the action. It’s a good place to relax between theater plays!

This hotel has not changed its breakfast in decades: salty dried eggs (I think), bad tasting hash browns with cheese, something they called bacon, no high protein yogurt. The coffee is good. I recommend they change their breakfasts to the current likes of today’s public, consult with local dieticians or nutritionists. You can produce something just as inexpensive that is much more healthy. We would all pay a few dollars more for a better more nutritional breakfast.

I love the location. It’s right across the street from downtown and the Shakespeare Festival. It also is right next to the creek. I loved the free morning breakfasts. They were really good. The woman at the front desk was terrific! She was so pleasant and helpful. I loved that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room and the air conditioning is exceptional! The suite was large.

I wish there had been more selection for pillows. The ones in the room were too hard for my taste. Lots of hot water, but the tub is narrow. I wish there was a swimming pool. It gets very hot in Ashland.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The place around the hotel (including a place to enjoy breakfast outside) was very nice, with trees. Location was definitely a highlight. Very convenient to reach all major destinations in Ashland, such as the theater, downtown area, creek etc. Plenty of parking options nearby. There were some bonus things in the hotel (wine tastings for extra fee and cookie offerings) that we could not enjoy due to our schedule, but it is nice to know there is more to it.

Breakfast was average; it contained scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits as well as some fruits. It was really crowded for breakfast. The hot tub did not really work; only one jet was working.

I chose this hotel both for its location and for the daily breakfast. Downtown Ashland was less than a two block walk; each of the five mornings we stayed we enjoyed a hot breakfast, eggs, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy (not a homemade gravy but adequate) waffles, granola and yogurt, juices, toast ( not all these at once!) and always lots of hot coffee ready. There is a nice porch with tables and chairs to enjoy if the inside is too crowded. We also want to commend both Krystal and Michael for their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and pleased with the accommodations!

We twice turned the "Do not disturb" sign when we didn't want the room cleaned, then when we turned the sign around thinking we would then receive service, we didn't read it carefully; it said Do not Disturb in Spanish! We just thought it was funny, not that we didn't like it.

Facilities were very clean. Room and bed were very comfortable. We appreciated the old world charm of the decor. Location is perfect as it’s on a quiet side street, but short walking distance to the central area of Ashland.

The breakfast selection was very good, and the attendant was constantly keeping everything tidy. However, a couple of the cooked hot dishes took an extremely long time to be replenished. We found other breakfast items to eat and left before the promised hot dishes made it to the buffet.

Very homey and comfortable place, I loved the color scheme and the decorations... The staff was very friendly and parking was free on the property. The town is tiny so this place being right outside the city center (aka one single street with several blocks) in the residential area is appreciated. Breakfast is just ok. I would stay again.

Shower head was not the mobile kind but that's no big deal.

The staff had a REALLY hard time dealing with the arrival of 80-90 (or more) students at 4pm and many of us smaller parties had to wait up to an hour for our rooms to be cleaned. If possible, the hotel should arrange for extra room cleaning help when this happens.

Convenient location. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the theater. Some very nice terrace seating areas on the property.

Did not like the low lighting inside the rooms, especially in the bathroom. The only elevator in the hotel was the slowest one I have ever seen. The parking was very tight and an insufficient number of spaces available

I appreciated that they allowed us to leave our gear and car while we were on a hiking trip. The location is very central. The waffles for breakfast are good.

It would be great to have hot coffee available in the morning in the lobby. There is a keurig in the room, which is great but only powdered creamer which is not so great. There were only two wash clothes in the room even though we indicated we had a group of three. The hot tub wasn't working. Staff was not very friendly, and were often hard to get. We would push the bell at the desk and often waited for several minutes for someone to come out. The breakfast was barely adequate.
