This was the first night of a road trip and was not our destination. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable our room was. We had a nice view of the river, too. The room was updated and very adequate. The price was excellent. Breakfast was pretty standard hotel fair but clean and fresh and yummy. I went back for a second perfect banana and coffee for the road. We wished we had a second night and will definitely return when the opportunity comes up.

I hurt my knee before trip so anyone with limitations should know that there is an elevator BUT you must first descend stairs to get to it. Is there a ramp somewhere?? We did not find one.

The positive greetings started with welcoming texts, then a hearty "welcome" at entry to the office, with quick, easy service, a map, explanations about locations, breakfast, etc. The parking lot was in full bloom with dogwoods, so beautiful to drive into. Our room opened onto a small balcony overlooking the Rogue River, and was so delightful and fresh. The location was gratifying, so finding a dinner spot was easy (and delicious). The room was comfortable. Breakfast the next morning had selections from cereals to waffles, eggs, yogurt. Friendly staff! The picture is a view from our room.

I am a coffee fiend and find plain old coffee to be boring. It was adequate but I prefer a latte.

I came to Grants Pass for one night on my way south to visit a friend from New Zealand and I loved my time there, although it was very short. I stayed for 1 night and had a beautiful room overlooking the river. My room was beautifully presented and very clean. Everything was available to meet my needs. The bed was super comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly, approachable and happy to help with any requests. I had a few beers at a local brewery that was buzzing even on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon and was packed with families with small children all enjoying themselves around the outdoor firepits. The accommodation was located within a short walking distance of anything you could possibly need. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I like the balcony area the most. Being able to sit and look at the river right in front of the balcony was a huge bonus for my business trip. I loved the breakfast options. They switched up the protein options each day. It was great. Also loved the hours for breakfast. Easily accommodates people who aren't early risers.

The pool was closed while I was there and the weather was pretty hot though the heat isn't typical for the season. It's probably only open in the summer but it's getting hotter in the spring so they should reconsider.

The desk person at check is was very friendly. Told us about this area in Star Wars Ewoke scenes. She made sure we had a ground floor room as requested. Explained the full breakfast in the morning. We asked about restaurants in walking distance and she recommended the Taproom and how to get there. Dinner and drinks were great. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. All of the rooms have a balcony with a view of the Rogue River. Breakfast was awesome. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy , fruit, coffee, juice everything we could want and then some. Staff in the dining area was also very friendly.

this has become my “go to” place to recuperate after minor surgery at the nearby hospital. i live 2 hours away on the coast which necessitates traveling inland for most things medical. it’s a calm, immaculate facility with a peaceful balcony overlooking the river. the furnishings are comfortable and traditional and the staff is excellent and helpful.

this was my first time staying on the lower level and having someone above my room on the second floor. this older building obviously fell under less stringent codes so there is not much soundproofing between floors and you can hear the people above you quite clearly. but this was a minor issue as they settled into bed fairly quickly. also be advised that canadian geese sometimes settle on the river and they can be noisy at night. but neither issue is the hotel’s fault

I liked the rustic, cabin-like feel. Loved sitting on my balcony overlooking the Rogue River, enjoying the water rush, birds. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices. The room provided all the amenities I could possibly need. Bed was comfortable, great pillows (which I find difficult to find in most hotels). Parking safe and handy. Restaurant nearby.

Great unobstructed view of river from large private balcony with 2 comfortable deck chairs and an end table - loved that! Very nice, simple breakfast, well cared for/restocked by dedicated staff. Good coffee in lobby (room's coffee was not good at all), Large TV with really good quality picture. Liked the popcorn available in evening!

It seems pet rooms are on every level, not just the ground floor. We saw a woman carrying a small dog down the stairs, and the dog was peeing the whole time.

We loved our stay at Riverside Inn and now I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Grants Pass. We loved everything: the room, the bed, the friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, and especially the beautiful river view. Other appreciated details: comfy robes, afternoon popcorn, and a wide range of quality tv/movie channels. After a day of river rafting my boyfriend and I were so happy to relax in bed and watch an old classic on the Turner Classic Movies channel. I don't typically get excited by a hotel stay, but The Riverside Inn was wonderful.

We absolutely felt blessed by the person working the reception and the security guard. Our car overheated, and all the bells and whistles went off exactly after pulling into the Riverside Inn parking lot. We had driven for 4 days from Kirkland, WA, to Grants Pass, WA. Grants Pass stunned us with the customer service overall, from the security guard who took a look at our radiator and even recommended for a mechanic shop, the cab driver who took me (mom) to O'Reilly's to stop for coolant so I would fill up the radiator to then drive it to Kelly's Automotive, to the AMAZING staff at Kelly's (deserves a separate review).

I saw a bug coming out under my pillow and a spider by the sliding door. The unit felt old and uncared for. But the people were OUTSTANDING!
