The staff was wonderful and the room was very cozy and very comfortable. The decor was modern and just felt good. The bed and pillows were amazing! The room was big enough for my party of two female friends, each of us with more luggage than we needed, lol. We shared a king room and just shared the bed. The restaurant was incredible; service and food. We sat at the bar due to lack of a reservation.

The shower pressure was horrible. The toilet paper was in a weird position. We weren't told that we needed a reservation for the restaurant. We were able to sit in the bar, but as a sober person, I would have preferred a table away from the bar.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly - from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to the food/beverage folks. The location worked well for us as we were seeing friends in NE and SE Portland. It would be super convenient if you were attending an event at the convention center or Moda center. The rooftop bar was great, and we were able to see the fireworks along the river on the 4th of July. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean - they cleaned daily during our stay, which was nice. And if you don't have a car, the light rail is just steps away.

The valet parking is a bit pricey, but it was worth it for peace of mind and for not having to navigate the varied street parking in the area (2hr, 5hr, event pricing, etc...). The food in the coffee shop and bar were just ok, but it was nice to have options on premise as there's not a whole lot (other than fast food) nearby.

The view from the room was lovely, and the secured parking was a bonus (even though there was a pretty steep charge for parking). The room was clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable - we also loved the cozy robes.

We were a tiny bit bummed there wasn't a bathtub, although it may have indicated that when I booked (but I don't think it did - or I didn't see it - as we would have upgraded to get a tub). Room service info was challenging to access - I texted the front desk and they had to send me a link to a different site that couldn't be accessed on the main website.

All the staff, from the valet to the front desk to the rooftop restaurant, were friendly and awesome. Our room was well-stocked and supplied with warm, super-comfortable robes for complimentary use. The restaurant has great food and cocktails, plus amazing views of the city, especially the convention center all lit up at night, with indoor and outdoor seating (fire pits and heaters in the outdoor dining area). Short walking distance (5-7 min) to Moda Center. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Eastlund.

Although the valet parking is expensive, my car was in a very safe and well-monitored garage, so I didn't have to worry about it at all.

Perfect location for a gig at the moda.. just a short walk down one street, really nice hotel. Good rooms, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Cool restaurant bar upstairs all nice and clean. Good staff 👍

I travelled from Ireland for a gig that night. Arrived for check-in at 4 and made to wait 45 mins for my room while plenty of other people were checked in. I was tired and fuming a little, but when I was finally brought to the desk I was given a lovely bottle of beer, and a snipe of prosecco by way of an apology, which I thought was a great recovery by the staff and made me feel a little guilty for my bad thoughts:) Good job

I love everything about this hotel! I come to portland several times annually to visit family and they are always my number one choice. It is family owned and what a difference that makes. The staff are fantastic, so thoughtful and attentive, they anticipate your every need. I am a white haired granny with a cane and a house keeping attendant saw me struggling with a suitcase and took me all the way to the front door for me.

OMG the tavern was awesome! Food was good, drinks were even better, and the staff friendly without being over bearing. We loved that every time we were near the front door, it was opened for us. Loved the location, as we were going to the convention center. The area that the hotel is in feels pretty safe and secure. The room was awesome, bed was comfy, but the pillows were really too soft for my liking. Not a big deal, they offer firmer pillows....just have to ask for them! Will always stay there due to the location, price, bar, and staff.

Hearing the light rail that passed by every so often. We were on the convention center side, and it wasn't bad. But it was noticeable. However, It was not enough to make me not want to stay there again.

Staff is helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable. The bed and chairs, along with the soft carpeted floors were especially welcome during my extremely busy weekend.

I wish there was a non-slip mat in the shower, and more complimentary feminine hygiene products available in the room. Particularly sanitary wipes and pads. I'd appreciate a standing bar in the shower and by the toilet, I'm disabled and without these features, it made showering safely a little more difficult for me.

The stylish appointments in the room made it fun and visually appealing. The cabinetry made the most of the space. Walk in shower, no tub and quick hot water.

My rideshare driver found it hard to locate at night. Stairs to enter surprised me. (There is an ADA compliant lift, but did not see it at night upon arrival.) Staff seemed to know their own niche information fine, but staffing also seemed minimal or lacked a team vibe, like how movie theater ticketing and concessions can feel with maybe two people visible anywhere.

EVERYTHING—from location to the convention center; amenities like the gym that was well equipped with good quality weights and a mat and others; cafe for a quick breakfast or brunch; SPOTLESS surroundings and carpets; I LOVED the vanity mirror that DID NOT FOG UP—never seen one before; hole into the shower glass that allowed you to reach in and turn the shower on; lots of outlets EVERYWHERE; snacks and drinks available for purchase in the room; closet space; thick walls which is rare these days so I never once heard my neighbors; staff open hotel doors for you
