The room and other hotel facilities were excellent. The front desk service was very good, particularly Michael who was very helpful with a few print outs. Two of the other three I dealt with were also very good in terms of the print outs. The location is excellent and the parking is very convenient.

One of the four staff members at the desk was not very helpful with a print out I needed. I think the breakfast buffet could have had a few more choices (yogurt, more fruit, etc.) to be considered "excellent"--but it was still very good. The servers were wonderful. A minor point for most people--the music in the lobby was quite loud and thus it was hard to have a Zoom call downstairs (when it wasn't possible to use the room).

We love the hotel lobby and rooms, it’s all very beautiful and comfortable and so nice to be so close to the moss center for events. The restaurant is also nice and all staff were extremely friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant with mediocre and lacking attention to detail despite the fact that it was obvious everyone was putting forth their best effort. New management and oversight is needed. And especially if you were charging $27 for a buffet, everything needs to be of the highest quality and foods at appropriate temperatures. Valets were friendly, and personable, but do need a bit more training on refinement of their profession… Handling luggage helping appropriately, especially for getting more gratuities. They also need to communicate more clearly about the ticket and how to retrieve cars. Again, they were very, very nice, just somewhat lacking in the finesse of what it means to be a true valet at a fine lodging establishment. I really enjoy Hyatt and think it has great potential.

The hotel was in a great location to many local restaurants and bars. The interior was very well decorated with an incredibly spacious lobby. The room was nice and spacious and was very well lit with a comfy bed and sitting area. We also had a really nice view of the Convention Center from our room, which lit up beautifully at night. The fitness center was clean and well equipped. Overall, really nice hotel and would consider staying again for future trips to Portland.

This may have been due to the app I was using, but getting to the hotel was a bit difficult initially. However, we very soon figured out an alternate route than the one my navigation app was suggesting. Just a tip for others, if directed to take NE Hasslo to NE MLK Jr Blvd, dont, always take NE Multnomah to the hotel valet area.

I was working a show at the Moda Center and I enjoyed the short walk from the hotel to the venue. As has always been my experience with Hyatt Regencys, all over the world, everything was as I would hope it to be, my home base and oasis.

This is nothing the property controls and has no direct way to deal with, but the volume of homeless people everywhere was a bit disconcerning, as I had a truck and was pulling a trailer, which didn't fit in the parking facility, on site. So, I had to park it on the street and pray that none of these people would decide to see what was inside.

The breakfast was too expensive for the offerings, however, the staff made up for any short comings. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful view. The hotel was clean and functioned well. Overall, the stay exceeded the expectations for our needs.

The bath being open so close to the entrance without an inner door/partition was disconcerting. I feel as if the space in the bath room could be better utilized, though stylish as it is. The shower was comfortable, after figuring out the multi head design, but would be cool if the rain plate and the wand could be used at the same time.

The location is the best if you attend an event at Moda Center. It is a short walk of about two blocks to get to Moda Center, and the pathway is safe. You need to walk under an overpass, and basically, that is it. The bedrooms are pretty new, which makes staying comfortable. In the washroom, the toilet area is separated to the shower, which is kind of different and nice. There are many places to sit and have a drink in the lobby. The hotel was not that busy at this time of the year.

The dining options are expensive and limited to a hotel the size of Hyatt. I would like to have more options for a bite at night. I tried the breakfast buffet ($27 per person). It did not have such a variety as a continental breakfast would have. There were limited types of fruit and only three options for hot food (Scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages).

The location was great, beds were very comfy, the room was spacious and very modern. Great to have a restaurant, bar and a little market to get anything you needed.

No pool or sauna. Had to pay $20 for a package discount card which included water for the room, WiFi (this should be standard for free like most hotels) however it also gave discounts off certain places , free train and a $15 credit towards our room.

My fiancé and I loved the breakfast that was provided. The breakfast had an array of items to choose from. My Fiancé loved the valet service. The front desk was very helpful with anything we needed, we had leftovers from Olive Garden and the front desk provided us with utensils.

One thing that could use a bit more work was the valet. Although they did an amazing job, there were moments when we would call down, and they would hurry up the conversation and cut us off while we were speaking. The day we checked out, it took longer than the 10 minutes that we were told was needed to bring our car around to the front making us stand inside the hotel just simply waiting for the car to be brought to us.

Almost everything. The staff was exceptional

We brought our small (13lbs) dog and no where to take him to potty. We booked a double queen room for 3 people and when I called the hotel ahead of time to inform them we were bringing our dog and would prefer a room at the end of the hall, it was fine. Upon arrival and check in, I confirmed the request and the front desk staff said they had a better room. When we got to the room, it was a king bed room with a couch. It was fine but no bedding for the couch. The bed was on the hard side and uncomfortable. There was no place to take my dog to potty. Staff mentioned a grass area nearby, but we couldn’t find it.

Very clean and a nice property - loved the room and the view was spectacular. Lively hotel with free yummy drinks and games, felt nice and high class. Nice secure parking and LOVE having to use your key card to access the upper floors.

Parking was confusing unfortunately. Where to turn in isn't exactly super obvious and had to call the property to figure out how to park. That was my only complaint.
