The location was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean upon arrival and the front staff was friendly at checkin and checkout. 24 hour check in was important to me. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was nice. There is an awesome food truck right across the street that serves delicious food late night.

No coffee maker in the room, however free coffee in the lobby. The rooms were quite small. The bathroom was tiny, and a bit dated. The hairdryer provided in the room did not work properly and the blankets were on the thin side.

The property was nice, We had no issues at all. The only concern We came across was with the front desk, When I called from the room to reserve our room another night. I was told to call back in 20 minutes due to shift change, My Wife called and was told that We were never told to call back, and that I never spoke to anyone about extending our stay.

Great location, check in was easy & the gentleman who checked me in the evening was very helpful. Heater worked well. Nice clean room

My room was on the third floor which was great, but every night when I got back to the property the key needed to be reprogram - not important but an inconvenience

The location: It was close to the club I was DJing at, so that was nice. There was free on-site parking, so that was good too. And the staff was friendly, so I appreciated their customer service during my stay.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. I didn't get the best night's sleep because it felt like the bed was a little lumpy. I got some sleep, but it wasn't restful sleep. Other than that, my stay was fine.

Eastside Lodge was easy to find, and was spotless. After a little initial confusion at check-in, the lovely gentleman at the desk directed us to our clean and comfortable rooms. The next morning at checkout, the very pleasant lady chatted with us, and reassured us that we could leave our car in the motel car park safely while we went off to explore Portland. The cleanliness of the rooms and the kind personalities of the lovely couple at check in and check out (I assume they are the owners) make this a super place to stay. Location is also great eg 20 mins walk to the Moda centre

There were loud and rowdy tenants in a room next to one of ours, which became quite loud as the evening went on, though the noise had died out by 11pm-ish

Yes, it's older basic budget lodging, but it was very clean, owner at lobby desk gave amazing customer service, even handing me keys to check out two different rooms for my preference. We were worried if parking would overfill if out late and she mentioned option to go into lobby and they would help to have 3 or so cars that could park under portico at entrance. Rooms had refrigerator, (I think microwave) desk area, end table lights with plug-ins on base, bathroom sink had shelf below, all the things that make a room handy. Blankets super clean, bed and pillows comfy.

Yes, it's older styles, parking free but not guaranteed availability. However we were there on Saturday night for a late night event and husband found parking at 2am.

The owners have been running this hotel for 40 years. They treat it like their baby. We had a fantastic stay and are sad to leave. The neighborhood is super safe and walkable. No homeless people or open drug activities around the blocks, if you can believe it. :) It’s a huge bonus when you explore the interesting city with small children.

Convenient location, walking distance to old town, affordable price, nice staff, coffee in the morning, every day room cleaning service; on the check-out day, I was allowed to drop my backpack at the reception and get back for it long after the check-out hour, so that was nice.

The location was near to the city centre. The staff was really helpful. The room service came everyday. All the facilities were provided. Altogether, it was really a pleasant and nice place. Morning, coffee was provided.

Location was great for my plans during my stay. New restaurants and coffee shops since the last time I stayed in this area (not at this location). Definitely will use the lodge again when I am in this neighborhood.The bed was very comfortable.

I had one light fixture in my room that didn't work. I'm not sure it was the actual light fixture or the plug in.
