Clean, groovy spot and a great location, close to the waterfront and restaurants. I was happy to have a secure parking spot, even though it cost extra. They have the lobby open 24/7, which was great, staff were all very kind and helpful. I'm an early riser, so I could get coffee in the lobby at 6 am.
The AC kept us up all night, windows don't open so we had no option for fresh air. We asked for and got a quiet room on the corner, but that meant a connected rooftop dropped right into our windows roof, blocking our window, so no view. The AC was so loud it kept us both up at night, so much for quiet. Coffee was in the lobby, it was a shlepp from our room in the building across the street and up stairs, not really far unless you just woke up and don't have the energy, so maybe another coffee station at our building would have been nice.

We were looking for an Eastside experience. We were on foot, so the Jupiter was near center of Portland and a good base for urban hiking, plus close to very good public transit. Room was very clean. It's a value property, so space was tight, but acceptable. We weren't there to spend time in our room anyway, so it was both funky and functional. Good morning coffee and to our delight a very pleasant bar with competent and friendly mixologists in a very pleasant atmosphere. (Much needed after a long day of hiking). Portland is not a pretentious city experience and east side is even less so. The southwest quadrant is either businesses/warehouses areas that give way to neighborhoods. Both are dotted with some solid dining experiences.

This was a great hotel in the middle of most of the things that I wanted to be involved in. Very short commutes, quiet, and with attentive staff. I love the access to an upper floor balcony and such close proximity to Hey Love! a local bar and restaurant. I will stay here again and suggest this establishment to others.
The TV didn't allow access for bluetooth or viewing of streaming services. I didn't try to hard for this because I was not in the room often, but in the brief moment that I attempted to connect it was not compatible.

We were traveling long distance through Portland with a lot of valuable gear in the car. Due to Valentine's Day festivities, there was a lot of events going at or near Jupiter. We had arrived expecting an underground parking as last time, but it was full. The hotel staff helped us figure out where to park securely for the night despite of. Thank you so much for thinking creatively so we could sleep assured. Jupiter is near a bunch of really fun restaurants and bars. We found a sweet little quiet scotch bar just a block away for a night cap. A wonderful way to end a long day of driving. The hotel room was clean, very comfortable, stylishly designed, had everything we needed including a condom at the nightstand. We missed the chalk that used to be a character of the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, close restaurants, bars and cafes. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The lobby (Jupiter NEXT) was great to hangout after we checked out.
We traveled with our 2-year old baby and while I was assembling the pack & play, I gave a slight hit to the wall facing the hallway. Immediately, the security staff knocked on my door saying that people were complaining about loud noises and they wanted to know if everything was OK. I explained the situation and they were on their way but I was surprised that I got called out for a minor thing like that while some folks were leaving their rooms, speaking and laughing really loud (right in front of the security staff) and they said nothing to them 🤷🏼♀️

I loved the location. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and perfect for a solo traveler.
Really nothing I didn't like, but it would have been nice to have coffee available to the guests in the older hotel without having to cross the street. They did have some on Monday and Tuesday but I was already up and had coffee from the main lobby by that time.

Great downtown location. There was a complementary "Jupiter" branded condom on the bedside table which gave a us a laugh. There was an available parking lot, though not gauranteed.
We were confused finding the office to check in. There were conflicting signs. Check in was at a sister location around the corner, not at the address we had. There seemed to be actually two hotels, one a motor inn (but without adjacent parking) and one newer and fancier hotel around the corner.

We were at the original they do not have breakfast; there are coffee shops around the hotel. There are lots of options for dinner we found some wonderful restaurants.
Parking Garage are flights of stairs you have to climb up, though we did find on the last day there is a door to the outside and it is up a small hill.

Loved the location, it was so easy to get an Uber to get me around PDX. I was on the 5th floor and had the most magestic view of PDX. AND, I got the welcome relax kit that lead me to the Hedgegrow Herb co - I'm in love with their products.
I wished I wasn't rushed so that I could enjoy the facilities a bit more. I learned about the garden/patio landing on my last day.
