The hotel staff are genuinely helpful and courteous. The location was convenient to the Oregon Convention Centre and there is a decent sized Safeway supermarket 7 blocks away. There is a Denny’s and a Burgerville restaurant just opposite the hotel. Rooms are decent sized and the beds comfortable! The rooftop Met Tavern restaurant is also comfortable and has great cocktails.

Location - a few dodgy areas around the hotel so self safety is key.

Every detail at the Eastlund has been well thought out and the overall design and quality are excellent. The staff was cordial. The restaurant on the rooftop had lovely views. The beds comfortable. The rooms stylish and clean. The location is very central and provide easy access by car or public transport.

Portland continues to have a strong presence of street dwellers, many of whom are not only desperate but also drug addicted. We had no incident with anyone and hope that the neighborhood in which The Eastlund is located continues its process of revitalization.

The staff was wonderful and the room was very cozy and very comfortable. The decor was modern and just felt good. The bed and pillows were amazing! The room was big enough for my party of two female friends, each of us with more luggage than we needed, lol. We shared a king room and just shared the bed. The restaurant was incredible; service and food. We sat at the bar due to lack of a reservation.

The shower pressure was horrible. The toilet paper was in a weird position. We weren't told that we needed a reservation for the restaurant. We were able to sit in the bar, but as a sober person, I would have preferred a table away from the bar.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly - from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to the food/beverage folks. The location worked well for us as we were seeing friends in NE and SE Portland. It would be super convenient if you were attending an event at the convention center or Moda center. The rooftop bar was great, and we were able to see the fireworks along the river on the 4th of July. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean - they cleaned daily during our stay, which was nice. And if you don't have a car, the light rail is just steps away.

The valet parking is a bit pricey, but it was worth it for peace of mind and for not having to navigate the varied street parking in the area (2hr, 5hr, event pricing, etc...). The food in the coffee shop and bar were just ok, but it was nice to have options on premise as there's not a whole lot (other than fast food) nearby.

Modern / upscale without being over priced -colorful , bold design with art.

I liked everything about the property. The food was good but the happy hour options could be expanded. Very small portions are given for the reduced price. Serving dinner later would probably please guests more . Or expanding the happy hour menu and increasing portion sizes. It came across as stingy and almost absurd how small the serving sizes were. Great service staff and atmosphere so this made up for it.

The staff was very friendly and valet was super quick, and very helpful. The room was nice they did need to fill the conditioner , but I also did receive a text stating all I needed to do was message housekeeping for anything we needed , so that was nice ;also I brought my own but there’s was papaya and wanted to try it. ) All and all our stay was pretty great and I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Possible spider or something woke me from sleep. Not a huge deal but was unsettling

The view from the room was lovely, and the secured parking was a bonus (even though there was a pretty steep charge for parking). The room was clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable - we also loved the cozy robes.

We were a tiny bit bummed there wasn't a bathtub, although it may have indicated that when I booked (but I don't think it did - or I didn't see it - as we would have upgraded to get a tub). Room service info was challenging to access - I texted the front desk and they had to send me a link to a different site that couldn't be accessed on the main website.

this hotel is beautiful.......in every way. comfortable lobby, stylish rooms......so tasteful and well done! i go to portland 3 times a year to visit family is this is the only one i ever want to stay at. but what tops it all are the staff there.. everyone, everytime, so cheerful, attentive, friendly and helpful. a shout out to daniel...it's me suzanne! everyone.....thank you all for making everystay the best!

All the staff, from the valet to the front desk to the rooftop restaurant, were friendly and awesome. Our room was well-stocked and supplied with warm, super-comfortable robes for complimentary use. The restaurant has great food and cocktails, plus amazing views of the city, especially the convention center all lit up at night, with indoor and outdoor seating (fire pits and heaters in the outdoor dining area). Short walking distance (5-7 min) to Moda Center. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Eastlund.

Although the valet parking is expensive, my car was in a very safe and well-monitored garage, so I didn't have to worry about it at all.

It is located in a great spot. So many places are within walking distance. There is a beautiful rooftop restaurant with amazing food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. You also feel very safe there as you cannot just walk into the hotel without being a guest.

I would say the only thing I found a little annoying was the fact that our room didn’t have a microwave, but it wasn’t bothersome enough to not go back.
