The room was comfortable and we had a great view of the river. The hotel was in walking distance of downtown. The hotel gave us welcome drinks, which was a nice touch! Would stay again.
The area around the hotel has a bit of a homeless problem, but honestly, that was present throughout the city. Parking was a bit pricey, but I get it, space in a city is pretty limited.

The hotel is in an ideal area. A waterfront park right across the street. The room was a decent size, beds were comfortable. The bathroom clean and the robes were a nice touch. I love the fact that the decor is all pineapples, and it has a nice vibe. The complimentary drinks and cookies is a plus! The staff was very welcoming and even gave me tips on charging the EV car the rental company gave me. They have a charger on site as well. I like that the hotel is very accommodating for pets, they offer pet beds, snacks and water for pets in the lobby.
The fact that the restaurant on site wasn't open. I wasn't offered my free arrival drink when I checked in as advertised, and we were looking forward to eating on site. I gave the hotel a rating of 9 out of 10 because the room I had faced the highway on ramp, and it can be very loud at night and the restaurant was not open the entire stay.

Very comfortable bed, helpful staff. The duvets were a nice touch. The location was fantastic, across from the waterfront park and close to public transit stops. Great view. Onsite parking was very convenient. Loved the “do not disturb” sign. A friend who lives nearby recommended this hotel and I did shop around for other options but he was right. It seems like the best value and a nice place.
Room was a little small. Having to pay for parking was annoying but I don’t think it was out of line for hotels in the city.

It was a great hotel and great staff. The guy who checked us out was so kind and really left an impression on me. He went out of his way to do something for my boyfriend and I that I won’t forget it. His name was Kennedy. And parking was free! When you arrive at the hotel you pay a 75 dollar fee for insurance costs which includes parking, food, or any service you require, and then you get it refunded when you leave immediately! If you had an incident in your room or something else, the refund would be deducted but we got the full 75 back so that’s a great benefit of going here!

The personality and soul of the property is there. I could see many people being overwhelmed by the pineapples, or think they’re tacky or silly, but I LOVE it. People don’t really know that pineapples are a symbol of hospitality, so it’s really cool for a hotel business model to revolve around pineapples. I loved how the beds were set up, with a how-to sheet for the different way to use the two duvets. All the amenities are amazing! The staff is amazing and kind as well. I don’t remember the name of the man who checked me in, but he was very kind and informational, and even remembered my name in the morning (I checked out with a nice lady instead and he called me by name as I left). This all just makes a great difference for people who travel a lot or don’t and struggle to find a place to stay. Thank you for having such a great and beautiful hotel. I also work at a hotel as well so when I travel, I am particular about where I stay. In conclusion, I am very impressed and satisfied with my stay here.
I can’t think of any complaints I would have. I had no issues the whole time.

I love how central it is, provides parking so you can truly enjoy the city by walking around vs moving your car everywhere/try to find parking. The facilities are always clean and bright, the rooms are clean, crisp cozy bedding and bed, Swedish comforter thing is also a new concept I never know I needed! Staff is soooooo friendly! Caring and kind. The price is also UNBEATABLE! I’ve paid double for some sketchy rooms before. But this is a truly great experience all around! A good get away trip hotel. All and all I’d recommend this hotel to ANYONE that asked,
The ONLY negative if I HAD to find an issue would be parking. The spots are a bit close together and many people can’t park in the lines as is leaving few open to take when checking in. No biggie though I didn’t expect parking at the facility at all so I was pleasantly surprised. That would be the only thing I could pick on if I had to answer, However this would not be a fixable problem.

For being a cheaper property and one a bit farther away from ones I've stayed in before, I was quite delighted. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, and the view from the room was lovely. They give you a lot of goodies too which was awesome. The room itself was bigger than I thought and the beds were really comfy. Even though we only stayed for one night, it was really nice.
1.) Our keycard randomly stopped working when we came back from getting dinner. I checked other rooms to make sure it was really ours, but the card just wouldn't work. The person at the desk was able to fix it quickly, but it was still a bit strange. 2.) Kind of a personal preference but the blankets, although comfy, were so heavy that I kept waking up sweating. The room itself was pretty cold, but the blankets were just so hot...

Nice location, walkable to most attractions in downtown Portland and close to the waterfront. It felt like a relatively safe area to me. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The free wifi was great, fast and reliable enough that I was able to get some work done from my room. The later checkout time and free in-room refreshments were also nice perks.
The soundproofing on the windows is borderline nonexistent. I moved rooms partway through my stay, so I experienced two opposite sides of the building, and in both the traffic noise coming through the window was terrible. The tram line running next to the building seems to be the biggest offender. In the first room there was also a flock of crows that perched right outside the window and woke me up at 5am, and it practically sounded like they were in the room with me.

Fun place! Friendly staff. Really comfortable beds. Excellent location for our visit to Powell Books and Arlene Schnitzer. Felt very safe walking back to the hotel after a show. Lotus and Beans coffee nearby when the restaurant was closed. Great parking too. I really can't believe how nice it was for the price especially. We didn't bring our dogs but I loved how dog friendly it appeared to be.
October 21st and the heat wasn't turned on yet. "We're still in summer mode. You can turn off the air conditioner if you are too cold and let us know if you need extra blankets..." It was a bit nippy in the morning but that wouldn't keep me from going back.

I loved the location. It was close to everything walking distance. It’s right by the waterfront, so we took the trail and were able to hit all the main spots. There’s lots of restaurants near by too and a mall. The staff were the nicest people we’ve ever had. Like usually we’ve had a few nice staff but here at this hotel literally all the staff was friendly!
I know Portland has a bad rep for homeless people, not sure if the person I encountered was or wasn’t. But I went to the ladies restroom at the cafe and a man entered the bathroom while I was there. Maybe some security would be nice. The man used the restroom, I obviously left when I noticed men feet. Maybe he was confused idk but didn’t like that.
