My fiance and I came to Charleston for a little getaway! We found this place on booking.com and it seemed perfect! We live right off the highway anyway, so the noise did not bother us at all. The breakfast was good and the amenities were great! My only complaint was the cleaning! Our bed was made everyday when we came back so that was nice, but I noticed that the floor had not been cleaned at all. Everytime you’d get into bed after a nice hot shower, you’d almost need to get back in the shower and clean your feet again. The dirt got all over the bed. That was really the only downfall. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place! Great location!

This Inn exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing - although being right next to Savannah Highway, it was very quiet and safe. Within minutes you are to shops, the many delicious restaurants, to Charleston and other local attractions such as the Angel Oak tree. The rooms are very spacious, with comfortable beds, equipped with everything you need. Fridge, little bath goodies, hair dryer, extra towels for the pool. We got fresh things every single day. The ladies at the front desk are more than helpful and friendly. There is a huge parking lot right in front of the building and a dock that reaches directly over the swamp with sitting areas, that provides the most gorgeous sunsets. If you are lucky you can even observe some of the amazing wildlife, such as alligators and turtles. Breakfast might be a little skinny, but again we are talking about an Inn here, which doesn't act like one.

Being on the tidal creek was beautiful. The hard floors were good. Pool & courtyard area nice. Need more warnings of alligators.

The hot water took forever to heat up. The soaps & shampoo was not good quality. The plumbing in the shower was loose in the wall. It’s a nice hotel but just needs some brightening up.

Room size. Bed size. Plenty of work space. Large desk. Clean room and facility,

The bath tub faucet was liking, It is an old facility that has been renovated. However, the plumbing was not up to date *at least in my room) I informed the staff and they said they would take care of it.

Very clean. Loved that there was a nice pool and a dock on the creek.

Did not care for the fact that on arrival they give you a list of useful information. On that list it said “daily room cleanings available upon request” (which we did not request) yet we came back and someone had been in our room and took all of the extra towels we had requested and made our beds. I would have liked to have put my stuff in my suitcase had I known someone would be coming into my room. Didn’t ruin my stay, and I would most definitely stay there again!

The room was comfortable & cleaned daily. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Being handicapped, I would have liked some bars around the Shower/tub. Other than that, I found the room very accessible.

Beds are super comfy, it’s close to just about anything you want, and it’s very nice being on the creek on a nice day. I’ve booked another stay already. The pool was open and clean(we didn’t utilize). The grounds were super clean and maintained daily. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and nice.

The bar across the street makes for pretty loud noise between 12-2:30am. Loud cars and squealing tires, and one night there was what sounded like a pack of wild hyenas out there, but I’ve come to gather it was about 30 drunk girls yelling and fighting about something. Also.. We found a dead roach, but thankful it was dead. It shows they’re treating for it. Some towels were very scratchy and smelled like cigs.

Loved seeing families fishing the marsh and the pool was really nice. Loved the view! It was really quiet (well besides 4th of July evening of course) and the location is fairly close to many activities and about 30 minutes from most of the beaches. Also wish I got the name of the clerk at the desk who tossed my daughter and I a soda from the door haha.. We were having a pool day and got thirsty but maintenance had just painted the sidewalk in front of the lobby so we couldn't go in to get one. She listed off what they had from the door then tossed them across the sidewalk to us. :)

What I "didn't like" was super minor but for a room that fits 4 I think there should be 4 towels and 4 rags in the bathroom. We were able to get to some easily our first morning there but when housekeeping came in after we left they only restocked us with two towels again and then that next morning they didn't have any clean yet so we had to wait for more. I may have misunderstood the printout they gave me but the way I read it I thought housekeeping wouldn't come in unless requested anyways but I should have put the do not disturb on the door just in case that first day so that was my fault. The breakfast wasn't the most ideal either.

Location was great. Newly refurbished, freshly painted.

There needs to be a card of some kind to explain how to use the tv.

It's obvious that the property is being upgraded. The grounds were very well kept, our room was clean and newer furnishings than would be expected in a motel. There was no indication of bedbugs or any bugs whatsoever. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and accommodating during check in. The rooms have a single exterior door. The walkway to the doors are well lit and under video surveillance. We did not eat breakfast, but confirmed that it was available. The pool was very clean. We travelled on a weekday and I had the entire pool to myself. The majority of the guests seemed to be there for work rather than leisure. The entire experience exceeded my expectations at all levels. I'll go out of my way to stay here again the next time I'm back in the area.

I cannot offer a single complaint.
