This was our first stay at a TownePlace Suites and we were beyond thrilled. The room was large, very clean, and super cozy. They staff was extremely helpful, kind, and funny! They gave great insight on places to eat and things to do- and smiled everytime we came or left. Breakfast was hot and fully stocked both mornings we were there. We will definitely be returning if ever in Charleston again- and look forward to staying in other TownePlace Suites while traveling!

If I had to nit-pick one thing.. our shower soap was empty.. But in the grand scheme of things, who cares! We used the bar of soap provided at the sink and survived just fine.

Absolutely everything. The efficiency and friendliness at the reception. The cleanliness, the super white bedding, the size of the bathroom. The room had such an amazing, clean feel. Breakfast was good, too. The lady who serviced the breakfast area did a great job by making sure all was good. Those jalapeño muffins were something different and super delicious. The best hotel in Charleston that I've been to so far. I will definitely stay here again.

We had room 414, 4th floor. The lightning of the section of the kitchen was disappointing, as it was not working. Someone was sent to our room, but the problem was not solved because of the one or other reason. Missed the pancakes at breakfast though. No other complaints.

Everyone on staff was congenial and helpful. They were also quick and efficient with any requests. The suite was cozy and the in-room TV has lots of options. The location of the property is about a 5 mile straight shot to downtown and within minutes of many dining options, grocery stores, etc. The in-house breakfast was delicious!

The bathroom shower had mildew and some hair in it from previous guests. We also found a live silverfish on our clothing. Id probably add a lotion option to the provided toiletries and some paper towels and a pair of scissors to the kitchen. There's no housekeeping so a few extra trash bags would've been helpful.

Good location to explore Charleston, avoiding exorbitant hotel rates in downtown Charleston. About 20 min drive. Very close to groceries, restaurants and other services, walkable distance. Easy parking. Quiet location in a side road, not the main highway. Breakfast had variety and changed slightly every day. Closet organizer was excellent.

Our room was not serviced every day. No plant-based milks in breakfast. Limited silverware in room (no forks). No places to walk around the hotel, you basically depend on your car/transportation except for local groceries/restaurants.

It was a great location, easy access from the freeway, and great surroundings. The room was quiet and very comfortable. I enjoyed the accessories to help my stay be more comfortable. The studio suites had a nice size fridge freezer and even a dishwasher. I loved the closet space and storage. The rooms were very clean and the staff at breakfast went out of their way to make sure we were well fed. Most of all the staff at the desk we’re pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

Love the location and set up

When I got a room in November. It has 2 bedrooms in the room. This time I really thought it would have a separate bedroom but it did mot and was a little cramp for 4 people. The bathroom shower door would not close all the way& would spray water on the floor

I liked that the hotel was in a great location, quiet, and had a delicious continental breakfast. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. An added touch of a big and beautifully decorated Christmas tree and a fully equipped hot chocolate bar with Christmas cookies. Our 2 bedroom suite was clean, as well as comfortable.

My only complaint was that the kitchen in the suite was missing some essential equipment, such as dish detergent, silverware, ice bucket, and paper towels. BUT the very efficient, nice, and helpful hotel staff (especially the 2 ladies and gentleman working the front desk during our visit)quickly rectified the situation to make our Christmas weekend visit to Charleston very pleasant and memorable.

So much nicer than what I had imagined! We had a 2br suite on the 2nd floor. Inside the hallways/ common areas were all spotless as well as inside the suite itself! We had small children with us & they offered cribs and when needed would bring us a vacuum to use as well!! The breakfast was wonderful & plenty on amble parking! 10/10 recommended!

It was a really nice location and the sweet girl up front was wonderful. I wish I'd gotten her name she was super sweet! I would recommend. It was quiet and easy to navigate. There was several places to walk to and a grocery store in walking distance.

I went to Whole Foods up the street and made all of my meals. There was plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, measuring cups, measuring spoons, utensils, kitchen tools, a skillet, a small pan and a big pan to make spaghetti. The carpets and couch was freshly professionally cleaned which was great. You just let them know if you need your trash taken out and new towels or opt for the room cleaning. The laundry room is clean and a good size. The gym is nice and the pool looks refreshing.
