The facility was clean, good location , staff super nice.

I had this trip paid before we got there. When we checked in we got told that and additional 11 dollars need to be charged for taxes, she told us that the website that we booked through is not charging the right amount of taxes, so it was fine, 11 dollars is not a big deal. But today, I got charged 61.40, which is way more than she told us. I will not mind paying, but don't lie to your customers, be sure to inform them. And just to make sure that the charges are not because we're irresponsible people and don't take care of the property. My husband and I we are extremely clean and picky up after ourselves. Also, we don't take anything that it's not ours.

I was shocked how nice this "Resort" was. Not a normal Holiday Inn Express this is a Resort. Very nice, quiet and clean resort. Very comfortable beds. Very convenient to fun: Casino, restaurant on site or nearby restaurants, walking into downtown Deadwood, close to outdoor theatre for movies/music, and convenient drive to Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, etc.

Only issue we had was free breakfast in restaurant wasn't the best and service was lacking there. Elevators were having issues but did not bother us we took stairs outside one day but could be inconvenient for a disabled person.

This hotel was perfectly located for a few days in Deadwood and the surrounding area. The bed was really comfortable, and I enjoyed dinner at Dale's one evening and breakfast on both mornings.

The only reasons i didnt give this hotel 10 out of 10 -No water in the room and breakfast service on 2nd day but I think it was just down to inexperienced server who was trying to give me the bill when I was still eating and then told me drinks were extra where we knew they were included based on the previous day (female server on first morning was really good and complimented the couple of dollars we were over $25 limit

I loved the friendliness of the staff. Room service was delicious, fast , And affordable. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and cozy.

The maze to get to and from our room. 😆 it's a very long walk in and out of the building. My future visits I will request 1st floor or a room with a private balcony.

The location was great. We were able to walk downtown and back. Although the 2nd day we found out that Chris would give us a ride downtown which was great then we enjoyed our walk back. Actually he gave us a couple of rides which was even better. The restaurant was very good. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. We also enjoyed eating a meal while watching sports in the lounge.

Really the main thing that could have been better would have been to win more money. However that is always a bonus. We usually have a plan and although not happy with not winning a bunch, playing machines is just for fun.

Location was great! Facilities were adequate.

Going through the casino to get to the hotel. Maid service did not replenish the coffee . We were there 3 days and had coffee for 1 day..

The rooms were wonderful!

The hotel is located above a casino, and you needed to access two different elevators in two different locations. We had two people with limited mobility with us and luggage for four people. The man at the door was unhappy when we tried to unload at the entrance. He wanted us to park in the garage across the street in our assigned spot (third level), and bring our luggage down that elevator, through the casino, up another elevator to the hotel lobby, and across to the hotel elevator and up to the third floor to our rooms.

Great hotel in the centre of town but not noisy. Could walk to everything. Break fast was good but would like some healthy choices like cereal, or yoghurt.

The lift situation was weird due to the heritage factor of the building but we got used to it.

Everything was clean and great quality. They also had two types of pillows on the bed, one soft and one firm!

The price, but we put in a price match claim because it was $200 cheaper a day before our stay. I booked a month in advance and was super sad to see we overpaid.

The property was beautiful and the beds were comfortable! The rooms clean and the location was excellent! I will come and stay again
