The location, price and it was very nice.

We checked in later in the evening. The lady working at the desk was not very personable. When she gave us our room keys, she didn’t tell us our room number or what direction to go. I had to ask about breakfast. Also, I had to ask for a print out of my receipt. I also think that once you check out, the extra fee that is added on to your card should be refunded promptly. At 8:45 am, housekeeping knocked on our door and we were still in bed. My daughter was just getting up. Before we could say anything, she opened the door with her card. Fortunately, we had the latch on the door so it wouldn’t open. I don’t think housekeeping should just knock and enter a room until someone responds to them.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the lobby a few times when needed. It was clean, secure, and the beds were comfy. It worked well for our trip. The breakfast was sufficient (not fancy or a lot of variety but still good).

My room wasn’t cleaned as often as I wanted… thus, I had to ask for towels/soap a couple of times. My card key kept becoming un-magnetized, so I had to go to the desk daily to ask about it. Just a few little inconveniences. I would want more amenities if I was “vacationing,” but for my purposes, it was good.

Hotel was in a convenient location. Staff were great from the hotel clerk who kindly checked us in to the sweet lady who prepared breakfast from that tiny closet. Parking was easily accessed.

The carpet in the room needs deep cleaning, based on the dirt which appeared on the bottom of our feet. The metal bathroom doors were rusting at the bottom. The tv remote was sticky. However, the room was neat with fully stocked necessities& accessories upon check-in.

This place had very clean rooms. The beds are comfortable and soft pillows. The rooms smells super fresh!! Nice TV in the room. Love the water with electrolytes added..nice bottles. The staff was very polite and friendly!! The one guy or manager was awesome! The Black guy with twisties or braids..can't remember his name..but he was super nice to my family and I. He offered real kindness and made us feel very welcome. He was very informative and made sure we were all good 👍 I wish I could remember his name. But He knows he who he is. He came out quickly to help my husband and I put our belongings on the bell. The two staffers at the front desk was very respectful and showed me kindness from the very start. I will re visit this place in the near future!

No microwave in room. No Ice machines...you have to go ask for a pal of ice from the front desk. And No free Breakfast for the price! They charges the guests for coffee! But there's coffee maker in the rooms. No tubs in the bathroom...only walk in shower. Otherwise not a bed stay and I will visit again in the near future.

The location was perfect. For anywhere you wanted to go it was in a good proximity. The people who worked there were really nice and friendly. Everytime I spoke to them they were kind and willing to talk. And the breakfast was good and tasty. Waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, juice and more. Perfect to give you a kick start in the morning to get you going.

Honestly with the place I couldn't find anything wrong. The one thing I hated were the guests!!!! The first night was nice and quiet. Second night we had a huge group of kids or whoever running the halls and screaming at 10 pm. Then at breakfast I asked the worker if there was more bacon and she politely said she was actually working on it. She brought it out and she came to me where I was sitting and said she brought more out. I go up to get some and this A-hole guest grabs every freaking piece. I asked "what the hell you doing leaving some for other people". They responded with "snooze you lose". Their is no respect with some people now days it's unbelievable. So yes the only complaint I have was the rude guests.

Really good breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes were all pretty good. Lots of “continental” options too. Rooms weren’t anything special but were clean and comfortable. Staff was all really nice. I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

Rooms were maybe a little dated. Weirdly, all of the outlets fit really loose. Not like the face plate was falling off, but like when I plugged in my phone charger it would fall out on some of them.

While heading up north to visit family, Chattanooga is a halfway point. I was looking for a place to stop for the night and was reading reviews. The Wingate had great reviews and I realized that one was mine from last year. Needless to say that's where we stopped. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the hot breakfast is very good. The rates are awesome as well. So on the way home we stayed here again. This hotel will be our half way point from now on.

Rate was reasonable. Lobby looks like it has been remodeled.

Room needed updating. The picture on the wall was torn, the furniture is old but the bed was comfortable. The carpet in the hallway had rolls and was coming apart. The flower arrangement in the foyer by the elevator was very old and sad looking. The continental breakfast was ok, not a wide variety of choices. It's a non-smoking hotel but unfortunately that didn't stop someone on our floor from smoking and the smell permeated our room. It was ok for a 1 night's stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is spotless when you enter, and the breakfast area is clean and bright. Breakfast was decent. Nothing extravagant, but there are plenty of options and I didn't go hungry. We traveled at that time of year when the temperature is fluctuating, and that lack of consistency caused us to be warmer at night than necessary. Hence, I didn't sleep as well this time as I did the last time. I am a repeat customer, and I will be back. The price is right, the location is terrific (for restaurants and tourist attractions), the staff is friendly, the building security is GOOD and we appreciate all of that!

The American flag is tucked into a corner by the front desk, like an after-thought, instead of proudly displayed. Please rectify this error! My suggestion is to place it on the short wall where the round clock is in the dining area. The clock can be moved easily. I know that people who sit on the long bench/couch next it will need to be careful/respectful of it, but I have every confidence they will be.

The man who managed the front desk was exceptionally good. His service was exemplary My original room had a lingering smoking odor, and he changed my room hassle free. He was very polite. These are no smoking rooms, so the past guests broke the hotel's rules. They had a humidifier to help clean the odor. The smoking smell was way too strong for my children, which is why we switched rooms. The rooms were clean. The carpet was also clean.

The rooms were a little old and you could tell from the furniture, but not a big deal. Some of the guests were a little loud, no fault of the property.
