We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and had a great time overall. The property was clean and well-maintained, though we did find a few stray hairs in the bathroom, which was a small downside. That said, the hotel itself is very nice with some awesome outdoor features that really made our stay enjoyable. The kids loved swimming in the heated outdoor pool and floating along the lazy river—especially impressive in March! Meanwhile, the adults appreciated relaxing around the fire pit. These outdoor amenities definitely made the trip special. We would absolutely consider returning in the future!

This hotel is excellent! Beautiful! It is brand new. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Hotel is situated at the top of a hill in walking distance (1 mile) to downtown Gatlinburg. If you don’t want to walk you can drive your own car, at the bottom of the hill is a pay to park lot, or you can take the free trolley. There is a stop at entrance to the hotel on the main road. Breakfast was great! Staff was on top of everything! Huge variety and food never ran out. Chef was present every morning making omelets. Happy hour was also great! There were two bartenders working the bar so line for drinks moved quickly. Snacks were great! They had plenty and kept the area clean and stocked. My kids LOVED the pool! It had a large slide, separate lazy river and jacuzzi. Plenty of nice, pool towels. The pool was fenced in which I liked because bears would make an appearance at least twice a day. The kids were protected because of the fence. You WILL SEE BEARS HERE! The staff are trained to keep everyone safe. Rooms are great! My family of 5 fit comfortably in the suite.

I did not like the beds. I felt they were very firm and uncomfortable. To be fair, we have a memory foam mattress at home so we are spoiled. :) I also didn’t like the shower. The bracket that keeps the glass sliding doors stable was broke. The door would constantly drift while showering. It was annoying. Also, no tub. Shower only.

Stayed in an embassy by chance about a year ago, and I will never stay at another hotel chain. The gatlinburg location was no exception. It was beautiful, so comfortable, and the staff goes above and beyond. Even one of the maintenance staff members noticed I was struggling at breakfast with my kids and he carried our plates to our table without missing a beat. You’ve gained a customer for life!

Dogs, I have my pets but would not take them to a beautiful, nice hotel to impose on others. I myself think there should be hotels that are not pet friendly so that we can go and stay without seeing pets in the dining area or pooping around the facility property’s grass. I think it’s just rude! I hope to see this change! I mean it should rank right up there with no smoking!

Everything was good

Spacious, clean, comfortable hotel. Everything was exceptional! The staff was very friendly & helpful, breakfast was outstanding, outdoor pools were perfect temperature, plenty of open space to enjoy, great food at bar & restaurants, ice cream store was an added bonus! The activities information office was also a great addition to the hotel. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in our 32 years of vacationing in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge! Will definitely be back! Beautiful hotel & water features!

Nothing we did not like!

Breakfast was good. The mattress was not as comfortable as I like. The outdoor space was excellent. It would be nice if a firepit was located in the outdoor area between the buildings. The staff was very friendly and nice. Great location to the city and main strip. We did not go on one of the tours through the hotel , but talked with people who did and they said they really enjoyed it. We will do this next time we stay. We stayed the last week of April. We had great weather and it was not crowded.

Not a great view for the King Bed Suite, but not that big of a deal.

Absolutely loved the outdoor space with plenty of seating. Location at the foothills of the Smokies was a beautiful setting...pools & lazy river were all located together, which was a huge plus. Kids favorite was the outdoor pool w/slide. Breakfast was good with a lot's of choices. Rooms were large & very comfortable. Very friendly & caring General Manager who talked with us more than once to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend!!

The property was beautiful. Have stayed many places in Gatlinburg and this was by far the most enjoyable property. Great for kids and the whole family!

The ice maker on our floor (5) was struggling to make ice. But not a big deal. Went to a different ice machine.

The property was beautiful. We loved having access to a bar and restaurant, as well as everything outside—like the hot tub, indoor pool, and fire pits. It was ideal for a family—even though it was cold outside! That just added to the fun.

The only thing I’d say is that the kids got sick of walking after awhile—the property is further up the hill than some other hotel options
