The cappuccino and sourdough toast at breakfast were great. The decor of the hotel and of my room (312) was interesting and innovative; I like the way that old industrial features had been repurposed. The post-industrial funky feel of the whole hotel as quite appealing.

However, the sink did not have a mirror, and although there was a mirror on a stand, it didn't work properly, so that I had to hold the mirror with one hand and my razor with the other while shaving. The lighting was interesting, but not bright enough in the main area (in the bathroom, it was fine). The radio would have worked if I'd had a device with Bluetooth (nope) and the TV's operation was a total mystery to me. This hotel would probably be great for people aged 24-45, but for us older folks (I'm 70), the lighting, TV and radio features were less than ideal.

We had an upgrade on our room and it was absolutely beautiful. Probably the nicest place we have stayed in. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect.

Our bathroom was serviced but the bed was never made or the room cleaned at all. We had to ask for the bin to be emptied, which they did but still left the empty plastic bottle on the floor that we had left next to the bin. Felt a bit out of character for a hotel of this budget to not have your bed or room made. Also we went to the bar for a glass of Prosecco before we went out for dinner and the bar tender said they only had enough for one glass. This was a weekend evening and before 7pm. Again seemed a bit odd but we went next door to a cool wee sports bar which had plenty fizz and gave us a free cocktail! Winner.

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. My mum and I travelled to Memphis for a special occasion and wanted a special place to stay. We were blown away by this hotel. The room was stunning with lots of thoughtful details. The bed was so so comfy. The decor and whole vibe of the hotel is lovely and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Hotel is situated in a great location opposite the Civil Rights Museum and is a short walk to Beale Street etc. You can tell the lobby space and coffee shop is used by the locals so there was a real buzz in the mornings.

I LOVE this property! From cleanliness to the friendly staff...the refreshing water in the lobby...I could go on. The only thing mentioned by my spouse was that the open shower made his shower a bit unconfortable from being cold. I appreciated the vintage feel of the room...very clean! There was a light dog smell when we checked in on the first floor and elevator but it's expected sometimes at a dog friendly property...the following morning the smell was gone. I assumed the staff for overnight may have enjoyed their holiday and being a pet owner myself I know they can be nervous near and on elevators. Thanks for the great stay...I will be back.

The room was very clean , large and well appointed. Gorgeous bathroom. We loved the location as we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. We are active seniors who really enjoyed the hotel lobby. It is so funky, with a gorgeous bar and the best people watching and dog petting around! We chatted with a number of younger adults - it is clear that the lobby is a great meeting place for local young adults, some seniors and their well-behaved pets. Oh! and i forgot to mention that their is a bakery and coffee cafe right in the lobby! Stay here!

not much! we truly enjoyed the stay. Ok, so perhaps a grab rail in the shower? Oh, the stuffed swans were weird.

Good location. It's about a 10-minute walk to Beale Street, and also close to the river. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. The room was small but big enough that it didn't feel cramped. Well designed with good art on the walls and good amenities in the room. Just across the street from the outstanding National Civil Rights Museum.

Parking was a little steep and valet parking is required, so every time you take your car out, you need to tip the valet.

I honestly can’t think of one bad thing about this hotel. The location is perfect!! Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Famous attractions just as close. The accommodations are comfortable and unique. The staff!!! OMG the staff was amazing!! I work in hospitality and I hope that everyone that works at this property gets to see this review. You all made our 24 hour trip to Memphis one we will never forget. We will be back because we now feel like friends and family. Probably never stay anywhere else again while going to Memphis!!

Can I say it was perfect?!?! Unless you NEED a pool, but cmon.

The night time staff were so wonderful & friendly. The scent upon entering the lobby was divine. Sourdough, lemon blueberry scone, breakfast, & drinks such as the bourbon mocha were delicious and artisanal quality. The lobby itself was comfortable and hip. The bed was incredibly comfy and the rooms were quiet. I loved the farmhouse doors and bathroom design. Valet was easy but do not lose your ticket. Very walkable location near civil rights museum, restaurants, & Gus’s.

Entry to guest area got congested during busy hours.

We loved everything about this place! The location is great. Close to everything. They have a great bar that serves delicious bites and great beer, wines and beverages. They have a wonderful coffee bar with homemade pastries and breads. And, the cherry on top was how amazing the staff are to a tee, and how great they were with our dog. She enjoyed her stay as much as we did🥰

The valet-only parking was only a slight nuisance. The valet was a great, hard-working guy.
