Staff was very nice. Room was basic but clean which is all I ever ask for.

I thought that the location (based on the description) was closer to the FedEx Forum and Beal Street. Obviously not the fault of the staff or anything. Its about a mile away which is fine if you're up for a little walk. My son and I walked to and from the arena with no issues. The next day though was rainy and cold so we used The Downtown Express which is a service that an individual runs . Highly recommend! Great guy and a fraction of the price of an Uber. His cards are by the front desk.

Good room size and location. Good parking. Pricing is fair. Staff is friendly.

Could use a renovation - the rooms are dated and have signs of wear. When a really nice sir that looked like the owner of the hotel was not present the staff did not have the same quality in terms of service and willingness to be friendly (ie. on the days he was present the breakfast was very good and everything was quickly refilled. On the day he was not present we ran out of coffee, butter, fruits and other things and staff staid sit in a table talking between each other for a long time instead of refilling everything).

The hotel provided a really good breakfast, much better than I expected with waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, sometimes biscuits and gravy as well as the usual toast, bagels, yogurt and packaged pasteries. The staff was very friendly by and helpful, especially the cleaning staff on the 14th floor where we stsyed. We had trouble with our key cards, and they stepped in and tried the keys, then brought them to the front desk to be rekeyed. They always spoke to us when we encountered them. I don't think any other cleaning staff would solve problem like they did. I also loved the view from the pool area. We enjoyed a bottle of of wine at sunset on the patio of the pool each night. The view of the bridge, and river is spectacular.

not there fault that the trolley doesn't run any more, which we planned on using to get to the museums. But the golf cart service they recommended was a great way to get to places and the driver was a really fun guy.

Based on prior reviews, was unsure about booking this hotel. So glad we did. Service from the front desk, breakfast staff, and housekeeping were excellent. Very friendly. Met with a smile upon every interaction. Rooms and facilities were very clean. Room had lots of seating (desk with a chair, two person sofa that pulled out into a bed, a two person bench, and a footstool). Was surpised to find view from room (Room 1401 - King Bed) faced the river and had a nightly view of the lighted bridge show, which occurs every half hour from sundown to 10:30 pm. Was also able to view the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid and the MEMPHIS metal sign located on Mud Island as well as lighted horse-drawn carriage rides from room. Underground hotel parking was a major plus. Was able to find many open spaces. Felt very safe and secure and did not have to worry about finding parking elsewhere or paying an additional $13 - $25 per day for parking. Hotel was in a very convenient location to all points of interest. We visited the Graceland Mansion, Entertainment Complex, and the Guest House at Graceland, just 10 minutes from the hotel. We also visited Sun Studios, National Civil Rights Museum/Lorraine Motel, the Arcade Restaurant, Central BBQ, and so much more. Most were just a few streets away from the hotel. We never drove more than 15 minutes from the hotel. There is a trolley stop near the hotel where you can take the trolley to many of the major downtown attractions. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Cannot think of anything needing improvement.

Breakfast was good and adequate to get you going for the day. The room was clean and big enough for 2 sharing. We had a great view over the Mississippi River. The hotel is a block from the "trolley " (tram) which goes down Main Street (and other places) and is cheap...US$2 for an all day pass. We stayed 3 nights which is more than enough time in Memphis. Downtown is a little "sad", however if you get out into the suburbs there are some beautiful properties. The Staff were excellent and helpful.

Housekeeper was ask to clean room floor wasn't vacuum bed cover wasn't charged and cover on bed was all wrinkle like we left it. We was very disappointed from a Ling day of at a conference to complaint so we used our own cover that we brought from home to sleep on on that Sunday night. Housekeeper needs to understand clean mean change bed cover vacuum room and not leave trash on floor

The breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They made great suggestions for restaurants that were excellent. The rooms were large and comfortable, beds especially comfortable. The price was excellent. But, we had to leave early not stay the second night due to a family emergency and without asking the staff front desk person did not charge us for the second night which we did not notice til later. They were so kind. This is also an excellent location, with a beautiful view of the River, we walked for 2 hours in the rain to explore your beautiful downtown area. This is our first visit to Memphis and thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The staff at the desk on Feb. 10 th and 11 th were super. Would highly recommend your facility. Thank you.

Staff was so great! Room was super clean and quiet with a beautiful view. Breakfast was great. Location was fairly good. Little away from Beale street but trolley was helpful. Very quiet in its location which wasn't what we expected but hotel was good for it's price for sure. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The sunset view over the Mississippi was incredible and the view of the lit up bridge at nice, awesome!

The quietness of the area of the location.

I loved the location! It was very easy to find and had great access to the freeway systems. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were fun and engaging. I definitely would stay again.

My room(#109) felt like it was in the basement of the hotel, especially being next to the ice machine that ran all night long. The noise of the ice maker was very noticeable. I did think the price was a little high for a comparable room... maybe it was the downtown location that pushed the price up.

The staff was incredible. they were very kind and extremely helpful. They have an awesome breakfast with eggs and bacon and sausage and waffles which is wonderful because I am diabetic and I had something there to eat and my husband loved the waffles. We had sent a note through the internet for a possible handicapped room and we got one which was extremely nice. The staff helped me each morning to get my husband out of the hotel and across the first road so we could walk to the convention center which was really beyond what Their job was but they were glad to do it. The room was very clean with the bathroom and the bed and the bed was very comfortable.

The rooms are a little older so they could use some sprucing up. We got a non-smoking room but it smelled a little musty like it had been smoked in before but not enough to bother us to move. I think it was mainly the carpet.
