When we arrived it felt like we were slightly out of town and felt a bit remote to start. However, it was a 5-10 walk to Beale Street where most of the live music action and restaurants are located. A 5 minute walk to the Lorraine Motel. 5 minute walk to waterfront. Famous Peabody hotel 15 minute walk. Across the road was the famous Memphis Dinner where Elvis used to to go. And a couple of doors along a more ‘healthy’ option.

Minor things. One coffee mug in room, so other choice was to use the takeaway cups provided. Curtains in room were off hooks. Often used food containers over flowing in bins by elevators

Right at train station. Only about a 15 minute walk to Beale Street. Beds were good.

Room is small if you have quite a bit of luggage. Having the tv on the side wall was annoying if you like to watch tv from bed. First room we tried the heat wouldn’t come on plus we noticed the tv configuration so we switched to another room but the tv configuration was the same plus it was quite a bit smaller. Broken reading lamp but that may have just happened. All in all, I expected a little bit better considering this is a Hilton. It’s the most expensive hotel we’re staying at on this trip and we did get it because of an early train we had to catch, but I wouldn’t stay here again for that price.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. Historical touches made you embrace pass times. Great location!

I DID NOT like paying for parking on hotel property. That was horrible to me. I couldn’t tell that paying provided any benefit to my family and I!

View from room was limited but that didn't really matter

The room was modern, spacious, clean and quiet. The location was good following a 7 hour train journey from New Orleans and easy to get to the Centre. The staff were very helpful- they arranged a taxi to take us downtown. Jay from DwnTwn Express (taxi) was great and very reliable

Unfortunately, the bar was very busy and loud with a live disco

It's definitely a unique location to stay. Rooms where clean and the check-in process was good.

When I booked my reservation, I opted for the breakfast included option, and they didn't give me the voucher until I had brought it up during breakfast. It is NOT a continental breakfast, and the voucher is a 50$ value.

This is a superb hotel. The location feels a bit rundown and there's not too much close by, but the trolley runs straight to downtown and is a bonus. While the location is a bit shabby (but we never felt threatened, even when out very late) the hotel itself is a real gem. The rooms are quite small, but neat and very clean, the bar is wonderful and the attached restaurant top notch. Best of all, the train pulls up right outside - what a sight.

As I said, the room we had was pretty small, but functional, and, as tourists, we only went back to sleep.

Great location great facility highly recommended your family and friends

 If we had to say anything negative it would have to be about the breakfast. Hi Roy went down to have breakfast there. And decided to go across the street to the little café. It was a lot better. I do have to say the location was outstanding and beautiful, but the food was not to our taste.

Location, Location, location! Arcade diner was across the street. Could see the Civil Rights museum from our room window. Beale St. was in a few easy walking blocks. The parking was on its own level away from the street and any neighboring buildings with round the click security patrol. The vibe and ambience was soooooo laid back and relaxing we felt right at home. Especially with the wonderful desk staff Kayla and Ellis. So professional and going above and beyond with caring hospitality. Restaurant Bishop in the hotel as well. The decor was impeccable as well.

Wasn't impressed with the food at Bishop but loved the decor and French vintage music. For being French food, it was not decedent but bland.

Fantastic location South Of Beale. Close enough to everything. I had 3 beautiful morning walks across Big River Crossing. Room was large and clean

Sadly the trolley was not working, and may not be for months+ Not the Hotels fault!
