I thought the staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous, & attentive. They seem to anticipate questions or issues ahead of time & had answers to provide immediately. The real proof of a well run lodging establishment isn't that I can produce a list of compliments for every aspect of the property...but that it was easy, smooth, calm. Nothing stood out with regards to maintenance, or the aesthetics of the interior design. I could tell improvements were recently made like the walk-in shower & tile work, the interior paint layout were all done very thoroughly.

You can tell that the owners have out a lot of work in updating this hotel. They’ve done a nice job. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable bed and linens, nice bathroom, and the AC kept the room ice cold the way we like it.

You have to check in, via a window, at night because the front doors are locked. Makes me wonder if they get some shady people there. Our entry door in our room was hung crooked in the door jam. On one side of the door, I could slide my whole hand in the gap. You could see in the hallway with how big the gap was. The threshold was very beat up too.

This room was VERY nice! Seems newly renovated. The bed was super comfortable, loved the modern feel to the room. The tv was nice and big. Walk in shower was great with full sized dove products. The staff was very nice! It is minutes away from everything (literally) you drive down the street and every store, restaurant, shopping center is there. Portillo’s is very close too! (We are from Chicago so this was a plus for us) Our stay was safe and quiet.

There’s no elevator so just beware you’ll have to take the stairs! (This wasn’t a problem for us but just a heads up for folks who book and have a lot of bags/heavy bags) :-)

The a/c was cold, bed was comfy, the TV showed a great picture, the ice machine worked, it was a quiet environment. I was greeted with a very cold bottle of water. Thumbs up. The smoking area gazebo is romantic and I'll go sit out there with the smokers next time I'm there.

Only thing I didn't like was the TV channels, it was extremely hard to navigate with just the up and down buttons. I believe it was more of the cable provider's channel format that was the problem.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and restrooms were really nice and clean. Over all I really enjoyed my stay.

The remote for the tv had to be reprogrammed a couple of times,also there is no elevator, so you would have to carry your luggage up a couple of stairs if your room is on the 2nd floor..

The location was good. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and newly updated. The pool was clean.

There was no breakfast. We were not informed of this until breakfast time. I overheard someone has sent their child to ask breakfast times. They were told 6-10 am even though there was no breakfast. Guests were upset.

I went to the trouble of completing their pre-check in process before arriving at the hotel. But then I had to go through the whole process again. It was a waste of my time to do the pre-check in.

This should be noted below under "what didn't you like": Ads said they provide a free breakfast, but apparently they have recently stopped providing it...they only had coffee and did not offer an explanation or an apology. This seemed like a "sore spot" to one of the desk clerks.

The bed was very comfy and the room was clean and spacious

The room did have a very weird smell at first and I hated that we had to carry all of our stuff up stairs because of no elevator. Also the smoke detector was like partially hanging off of the ceiling

I loved the deck. We grabbed our portable speaker and played a couple games of spades there. A lot of laughs.

My only complaint was that the last night, the remote to the tv stopped working and I was a little too tired to complain
