Green Tree Inn is located very close to IAH and have a shuttle from 6 AM to 11.30 PM to pick/drop, This hotel is reasonably priced and a very good place for travelers, in my case, my flight canceled/rescheduled so I missed my shuttle to College Station and I needed a place to sleep and stay overnight after a 24+ plus travel. I booked this hotel via Booking.Com around 11 PM and requested a ground floor room since I have large baggage, the hotel provided exactly what I wanted. Hotel shuttle picked me in a reasonable time and dropped me next morning. Reasonably good clean room was ready for me within a short time. Breakfast is provided. The location is very good with shops in walking distance. This hotel is highly recommended for emergency stays like my stay, the hotel staff is very helpful as well. Definitely recommend this place.

The only complaint I have is their vending machine is not accepting cards and any bills above 5$ so I couldn’t purchase something to drink / eat, except water.

I read the previous reviews and was quite anxious about our stay. I wás pleasantly surprised! It's not fancy but clean and comfortable. There are several places to eat nearby. It can be noisy but that's due to the proximity to the airport. The staff were efficient and friendly.

When I left the deposit was showing as pending but, despite being promised a refund the payment was taken that day and took two days to refund. Only a minor issue but could've been avoided.

Warm room, clean, safe, some fast food options walkable distance. The reason for booking was free airport transfer, experience from two weeks prior and not so good reviews in comparable hotels for one night layover. Breakfast is very simple with some cold drinks & coffee (no tea), yogurts, fruit & toast and biscuits. Reliable & friendly transfer to the airport can be reserved half-hourly just by putting down your name on the list at the reception the night before.

Some generic info about transfer before arriving would be useful so the telephone call can be reduced to individual time booking. I would have appreciated to know pick-ups are only from terminals A-D (not E) so would have not wasted time waiting at E while couldn't get through. I was more lucky the second time as went to the closest terminal C door 105 at baggage claim where the grey Mercedes van usually picks up and drops off.

Very clean, no frills, great value for the price. Perfect for an emergency one-night stay when my flight was cancelled. Good free basic breakfast (cereal, toast, waffles, yogurt) and free airport shuttle (somewhat limited hours).

The key card didn't always work reliably, and I would have appreciated having wifi information in the room so I didn't have to ask the front desk. I wish the airport shuttle ran past 11:30 pm so I didn't have to take an Uber there. But I get that for this low price there are limitations on what can be offered.

It's location was close to the park & ride & the airport...if you're renting a car close to the airport this is the perfect location...they also had a free airport shuttle...the place isn't fancy but if you're looking for a clean and affordable place to stay near the airport then I'd look into staying here...

The beds weren't the most comfortable

I am so glad I was able to find an affordable place. It was so much needed and I enjoyed my stay very much.

It bothered me tremendously this hotel only had one person working when the lobby was filled with people from problems with the airlines. The worker was amazing and positive but way overworked. The management should be ashamed of dumping this responsibility on only one person during check-in at night.

The price is within out budget for a short transit for a noon flight the next day. There is free shuttle which might save your money at least around $8. The room is nice, clean though the style a bit oldy. But that is ok since the location I would say pretty safe. To go to downtown is also easy, there is nearby bus stop which you can take and pay around $1 to downtown. Downtown is very far from the airport.

Great shuttle service, friendly helpful staff, very comfortable bed, next door to a variety of meal outlets, clean room, elevator access to 3rd floor for suitcases, continental breakfast. Ideal for an overnight stay between flights.

The location is near the airport, i only wanted to stay over night to catch my flight at the morning. The value is excellent, the staff is so friendly and the place is clean. What could be better than a clean room, a comfortable bed, decent breakfast and shuttle for the airport. My experience is excellent
