I booked this online for a trip to SAT to see my son graduate from BMT. I was so happy that I made the right choice with my stay at Drury Inn and Suites. It was amazing!! They have popcorn in the lobby in the evenings, a snack buffet like meal in the evenings, a snack area in the lobby with water, snacks, and even ice cream for purchase. Although, I missed the breakfast meals while I was there, I am guessing they were delicious just like the evening snack mini meals were. The room was exceptional and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Clean and very homey. A coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator, safe, and a hairdryer, ironing board and iron. I also had the best sleep I have had when away from home hands down. They also have a shuttle to get to and from the airport that is super clean and fast, especially "Leo". If I ever happen to go back to San Antonio, I am already sure I will stay at this hotel. It was the best experience in a long time and the staff were so nice and helpful. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 20. It was the best stay I have ever had :-)

I have 3 standard requirements when choosing a hotel 1) Free Breakfast 2) Free Parking 3) Free Wifi. This hotel checked all those boxes. Although no bacon on the breakfast buffet was a...choice, it did not take away from the breakfast dining experience. The other choices more than made up for it. I also liked the fact they offered a dinner time kick back. We checked in later in the day and arrived just in time for the kickback, which provided a great after travel meal and refreshment. It being an airport hotel I expected to hear a some airplane noise but I heard more noise from the highway than I did the airport so points for that as well.

I didn't like that I reserved a room with two queen beds and got two full beds instead. Wife says that is standard hotel practice but I'm still a bit salty about that. I feel like its false advertising. Also I know sofa beds are not the best in terms of comfort but this one was flat an uncomfortable. I spent 30 seconds on it to try it out and my back was screaming bloody murder. Maybe an upgrade is due.

This property would of received the top rating except for one thing. We arrived 20 minutes prior to check-in. At 2:40 pm, our rooms were ready but, if I wanted to get in before 3:00pm, they were going to charge a 30 early check-in! This happened to 4 other arrivals after me. This is crazy! I can understand an hour early, but not 20 minutes. What occurred when she told all of this, we all sat in the lobby and the conversation went from good to dissatisfied. No one gave the employee a hard time, it was just stated that this would be the last time staying at this place.

The staff was great! Very friendly and inviting! I really liked the breakfast and evening food as well.

There was no way to change the water temperature in the shower. If you turned the knob to get cooler water, it was the same way of turning off the faucet, so very little shower pressure. It was either hot water and shower pressure or tepid water and little shower pressure. Also, the sink faucet sat too far back from the sink. It almost wasn’t even over the sink. Every time I used the sink, water pooled up behind the faucet on the vanity.

Great Breakfast, Great Kick Back with everything you need, great location near the airport with shuttle and at the freeway, wonderful staff, and very clean.

Beds and pillows are very hard. Freeway system is awful. If you are not careful, the freeway may split and take you on a different freeway in a different direction. Very difficult to self correct. If traveling outside the Riverwalk area is not on the agenda, I would highly recommend staying at the Drury on the Riverwalk. We went to Lackland, so this was the best option for coming in just before midnight and returning at 5:29 a.m. Car rental was at the airport, so the shuttle was great for pickup the next day and drop off the night before leaving.

Hotel room was clean and staff was professional, helpful and pleasant. Special shoutout to Andrew who was multitasking all of his duties in the breakfast area with an amazing attitude. Very difficult to find workers like him that are very accommodating and eager to be of assistance, but Andrew is such an employee! Breakfast was delicious with a good variety and always well-stocked. Would definitely stay there again if we are in that area!

There was one day when we smelled smoke in our room, maybe coming from vents?

Great and spacious room with double queen beds for a family of 5. There were also great breakfast options each morning. The hotel staff were always very polite and friendly. There was even security riding through every so often after dark to monitor vehicles in parking lot. The hotel inner environment was very quiet and relaxing. Guests were kind and respectful.

The only thing worth noting is the smell of my room. It looked cleaned but did not have fresh scent at all. The scent was sooo underwhelming that I had to go and purchase products to make the room tolerable.

Andrew (im pretty sure that was his name) was the team member who helped me check in and he went above and beyond! I asked about the food menu because my son is special needs and wont eat certain things and he showed me the menu they keep up front and said they didn't have any printed but I could look on the website but the next morning we came down for breakfast he actually gave me one printed out. I was so grateful and thought that was definitely going the extra mile for guest!

The breakfast was pretty standard. No bells and whistles but it wasn’t bad. I love that Drury also offered free dinner and free cocktails as well. Id never stayed at a hotel that gave you so much for free!! They even had a popcorn machine in the lobby & offered some freshly popped everyday. The pool was nice & even though texas is more than hot enough, there was a jacuzzi as well. The rooms were large & spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable and everything always smelled clean from the halls to the actual bedrooms. The bathroom was nice. They were not cheap with the towels either and gave more than enough I was able to wash my own clothes in the laundry room. Nice & clean. Only $5 (this included the detergent i bought) Offered a free airport shuttle (more free!! 🤩) Staff was always very nice and pleasant. I traveled with a baby and everyone was always more than willing to help with any/everything. From carrying luggages, to bringing my food back to the table at dinner.

Breakfast options were the same everyday. Would’ve liked more variety like how they did dinner

Breakfast was great. Had everything I loved. Great Service. Hot and yummy breakfast.It had something for everyone. We all enjoyed. The space was great as well. Definitely enjoyed it all. I will definitely be back

Everything was great. I had no complaints. My stay was perfect and was just what I needed. Everything was as it said when I booked the stay. It was great price. Great customer service. The place was Beautiful, nice and very comfortable. Pool was amazing. I'm definitely going back.
