I booked this online for a trip to SAT to see my son graduate from BMT. I was so happy that I made the right choice with my stay at Drury Inn and Suites. It was amazing!! They have popcorn in the lobby in the evenings, a snack buffet like meal in the evenings, a snack area in the lobby with water, snacks, and even ice cream for purchase. Although, I missed the breakfast meals while I was there, I am guessing they were delicious just like the evening snack mini meals were. The room was exceptional and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Clean and very homey. A coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator, safe, and a hairdryer, ironing board and iron. I also had the best sleep I have had when away from home hands down. They also have a shuttle to get to and from the airport that is super clean and fast, especially "Leo". If I ever happen to go back to San Antonio, I am already sure I will stay at this hotel. It was the best experience in a long time and the staff were so nice and helpful. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 20. It was the best stay I have ever had :-)

The staff was great! Very friendly and inviting! I really liked the breakfast and evening food as well.

There was no way to change the water temperature in the shower. If you turned the knob to get cooler water, it was the same way of turning off the faucet, so very little shower pressure. It was either hot water and shower pressure or tepid water and little shower pressure. Also, the sink faucet sat too far back from the sink. It almost wasn’t even over the sink. Every time I used the sink, water pooled up behind the faucet on the vanity.

Beds and pillows are very hard. Freeway system is awful. If you are not careful, the freeway may split and take you on a different freeway in a different direction. Very difficult to self correct. If traveling outside the Riverwalk area is not on the agenda, I would highly recommend staying at the Drury on the Riverwalk. We went to Lackland, so this was the best option for coming in just before midnight and returning at 5:29 a.m. Car rental was at the airport, so the shuttle was great for pickup the next day and drop off the night before leaving.

Great and spacious room with double queen beds for a family of 5. There were also great breakfast options each morning. The hotel staff were always very polite and friendly. There was even security riding through every so often after dark to monitor vehicles in parking lot. The hotel inner environment was very quiet and relaxing. Guests were kind and respectful.

The only thing worth noting is the smell of my room. It looked cleaned but did not have fresh scent at all. The scent was sooo underwhelming that I had to go and purchase products to make the room tolerable.

The breakfast was pretty standard. No bells and whistles but it wasn’t bad. I love that Drury also offered free dinner and free cocktails as well. Id never stayed at a hotel that gave you so much for free!! They even had a popcorn machine in the lobby & offered some freshly popped everyday. The pool was nice & even though texas is more than hot enough, there was a jacuzzi as well. The rooms were large & spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable and everything always smelled clean from the halls to the actual bedrooms. The bathroom was nice. They were not cheap with the towels either and gave more than enough I was able to wash my own clothes in the laundry room. Nice & clean. Only $5 (this included the detergent i bought) Offered a free airport shuttle (more free!! 🤩) Staff was always very nice and pleasant. I traveled with a baby and everyone was always more than willing to help with any/everything. From carrying luggages, to bringing my food back to the table at dinner.

Breakfast options were the same everyday. Would’ve liked more variety like how they did dinner

Commentary drinks and dinner were good but the food was very limited … the staff didn’t keep up with the food very well and only having it available for an hour and a half is not very long at least 3 hrs probably would work better … that way people can have time to enjoys their drinks and eat rather than rushing to drink the drinks because the time is not long and if the food was kept up better and checked we wouldn’t have to wait and see if more food was coming so we could have some food.. the servings trays did not hold very much food for the number of people who were there and utilized the service.. other than that our stay was very nice … thank you!

I loved how close in relation to downtown San Antonio it was. Our location was right next to the freeway which helped with our back and forth travel. It was wonderful that there was complementary breakfast/dinner every night we were there.

I wish there was an ATM on site. There happens to be one in the hotel next door in the same parking lot. I had to wash laundry & the machines only took quarters. I didn’t happen to have cash so I had to run next door to get cash for the front desk because they didn’t accept card payments.

We were delighted that there was a free dinner for hotel guests! It was so convenient! When Bianca leanred of our early flight the next morning and that we would miss the breakfast, she arranged for someone to bring us muffins and fruit and yogurt so we could eat in the morning as well.

Our room was freezing cold and the thermostat was not very intuitive. It seemed like we could only make it colder, not warmer. We called the front desk and they said they would adjust the temperature from their end and bring us an extra blanket. They did both things and we soon became much more comfortable.

The room which I prefer to call a condo, was beautifully decorated. It consisted of a living room/kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and huge walk/in closet. It is less than half block from entrance to Riverwalk. And easy walking distance to the Alamo. The security was so good. The front doors are always locked and opened only by the staff or the guests’ key (fob). The elevator would only operate by the same. I felt so safe! The staff was awesome!

My husband was disappointed in the tv not having cable access. However, he finally found movies on YouTube. For older folks like us, the tv remote was somewhat difficult to navigate.

Was noisy that Thursday. Housekeeping staff & person above. Also didn't like the ton of confusion upon check in. The assistant manger, was stating things like they don't really work with y'all, that the pricing with y'all is off; wrong. I mean, she threw y'all under the bus! I told her, I've never had an issue with them regarding pricing. Sooooo much hell, literally first day, upon arriving. Confusion of whether or not, you all had added the deposit in the amount or not. Because it said "taxes and fees". I mean, that could mean anything ("fees"). So basically, I was trying to get clarity; a breakdown. That did not happen! Until- I saw my receipt upon leaving. So, 3 days of sheer wondering 🤦‍♀️ When I should have been mentally* relaxing.
