We liked that the hotel is close to the airport. We stayed and left our car while we went away. They took care of my car, and the price was excellent, for parking and our stay. This is the 2nd time we've stayed because of the staff, location, and cleanliness and the bed was amazing. Especially after a long flight home, sleeping in a comfy bed was a bonus. We will definitely stay again whether we are flying out or just staying the weekend to enjoy San Antonio!!

The only downside was no breakfast. There is a little "store-like" place and we bought stuff to munch on and coffee was free. But, sometimes eating something hot just makes things a little better. Either way, it won't keep us from staying again.

I lived in San Antonio for almost a decade and related to West Texas for the money and job security. I go back to San Antonio every month (to get a break from West Texas) and I always stay at the Candlewood Suites location near the airport. I like the location, the ease of parking/check-in, the room set up and the staff.

There was no breakfast. I had brought my own, however, but I did not have any milk. Their canteen area sold milk for a price that was acceptable since I didn't have to travel to get it. Overall I thought the hotel was nice, and it met or slightly exceeded my expectations.

Great stay, very clean room. It was quick to check in and great staff, didn’t have time to try out the pool but maybe next time, washing machines on site was not expected, but it’s a great option for travelers

Stayed in the 4th floor and internet seems like it didn’t reach the room, it was always cutting off or didn’t not load anything, specially when I had work to do, needed up hot spotting from my phone

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the airport and comes with free shuttle to and from the airport. Laundry machines are free to guests!! Super awesome.

Was told prior to arrival that 24 hour airport shuttle was available - asked to schedule a 4:45 a.m. shuttle at check in & was told shuttle only operated from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm/had to arrange/pay for an Uber shuttle in the end. Please be transparent on actual shuttle services.

The front desk staff was attentive and friendly. My room was comfortable and had a functional kitchenette. Overall very clean and comfortable.

The towels, though clean, looked a bit worn out.

Location was good, staff was helpful, good price, comfortable bed, kitchenette very functional. Rooms were clean.

The walls are thin - we could hear voices, TV, a squeaky toy, and a yapping dog. Big cockroach in the hall. Bathroom fixtures are very worn.

Due to memorial weekend this was the best price out there and most safe, clean, and great reviews. All staff were nice and courteous. As we checked into our room comes to find out it had a kitchen. Loved the lending locker idea never checked it out though. Sufficient spaces for parking and the outdoor pool was awesome!

It was so spacious and clean friendly staff my kids were comfortable it was like being home 🏡
