I loved the staff the most, they were very kind and helpful. The property itself was eye catching and I recommend if you’re a couple get a king bed facing the court yard it’s lovely. The room was really clean. Also if you don’t want to go anywhere for the evening the restraint and bar is worth it and I also recommend when booking just get the breakfast included option.

The only thing that I found annoying was the elevator speed but that’s a minor inconvenience 😂.

The property is pretty & clean. The staff is friendly. It’s convenient to have a restaurant/bar on site. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and it was a nice getaway. This was the hotel we stayed for our wedding weekend and are looking to make it an annual weekend stay.

Our first (king) room the air was not working properly but they moved us first thing in the morning to a new room. The second room was a queen room w/double beds and our courtyard door was not working properly. Someone was sent to check it out & we were told to just use the inside hall door to come in/out of the room. We were trying to avoid it since our neighboring rooms had kids running up and down are floor.

Location

In the room we had, while you bathe, the water accumulates and does not go down quickly. The head shower is not good and the lighting in the room is also average. Another observation is that you can enter the room through a door that leads to the balcony and another main door with a digital key, but the inconvenience is that you can leave through the balcony door but you cannot enter with the digital key, you have to Turn around and enter through the main entrance, otherwise everything is fine. The hotel overall is good and in any case I will continue to stay there again because the location is excellent, and these are things that can be improved.

Great location, plenty of free parking, nice restaurant and bar, very nice inner courtyard with a pool and a comfortable bed.

The room was blah. There were no luggage racks, very few hangers, and although there was table and two chairs, they were not comfortable. There was a coffee maker in the room but only one coffee pod! Coffee in the bar was $4.00 for a to go cup. I really think that coffee should be free for hotel guests in the morning. We booked a king bed but got two queens, which was fine, but the rooms amenities did not seem like it was set up for two people.

It’s a beautiful hotel with more of a romantic vibe than a family vibe but the staff is very courteous and accommodating. I asked if we could switch our reservation from 2 queens to a single king and it was no problem because they had available rooms and there was no extra fee!!

They don’t offer room service even though there’s a restaurant on the Lobby floor. Food was good but pricey. $100+ for 2 adults and a 2yr old because almost everything is a La cart.

The room was a nice average size for a double queen. The room has backdoor access to an outside walkway that guests can walk the perimeter of the floor you are on. It was surprisingly quiet since traffic can walk right by your room door from outside. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There is onsite parking without an additional fee which is great considering many stays prior have been on the Riverwalk where parking costs nearly as much as the hotel stay when paying by day. I get that is part of the convenience to being in the heart of major touristy places but staying a little further away to avoid parking costs is worth it to me.

The bathroom tub is a bit small. It's what you'd expect in an older/standard home. The closet space was ok but if you like to hang clothing, it might be a bit too small. There is no microwave in the room but there was a small fridge that would hold several drinks and snacks/leftovers.

Fantastic pillows and lovely bed. My stay was four hours and I needed to sleep, met all expectations. The room was clean and spacious. The concept was very nice.

I specifically booked this hotel because it said they had 24 hour shuttle service to the airport which was not the case. The Taxi's don't like to take you there because it is so close, no matter to me on the price but certainly seemed to be an issue with getting an off hours transport.

The restaurant right next door was great. The staff were very friendly as well.

The pictures make it bigger than it actually is. The furniture in the room was slightly worn. And the entire place had a distinct smell. Also housekeeping came daily which was a plus but some days we would have 1 wash cloth 2 towels others 1 towel 2 wash clothes. Not a biggie easy to ask for, but dont feel you should have too.

I like the Spanish style of the hotel.

The bathroom definitely needed a hard scrubbing it looked like it only gets wiped down instead of scrubbed. Cleaning service did not leave us clean towels when I called the front desk I was told someone would bring it up in 20 minutes but they never came. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant on Saturday morning and my omelette had so much salt it became inedible. I took one bite and my ankle swelled up from the sodium.

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was very beautifully furnished and clean and cozy. The whole place, including the rooms had San Antonio/SouthWest vibes. We had a room overlooking the internal courtyard with the pool, which was beautiful. The room and bathroom had all the standard amenities you'd expect, and was very clean (which I have high standards of). The staff we're very friendly. Parking and check-in were a breeze. I love that they have self-serve bellman's carts available to bring your luggage in and out easily. The bar-restaurant in the lobby area was great! Had breakfast there every day during our stay. The food was really good. Sure, it wasn't a free breakfast, but it was real food (not just cheap pastries and instant stuff you'd get at a similar hotel/motel with breakfast included). I'd prefer to pay for my real breakfast than have a free low-quality breakfast any day. The quality you get at this hotel is very well worth the price (which I was surprised wasn't more expensive actually). It feels more expensive, and you feel good that you payed a bargain price for such quality. Definitely staying here again next time I'm in San Antonio!
