Robert at the front desk helped start our stay off right! He was very helpful and gave us great recommendations as it was our first time. The location was great too as it was within walking distance to most museums/sights and many great restaurants. The view from our room was great and it was very clean and comfortable.

Parking instructions were unclear. We were hoping to park ourselves but were only able to valet. The valet service was quick though and definitely worth it, just wish there was better signage for valet drop off.

Very clean and comfortable, front desk staff is very nice.

I don’t give the staff a 10 because of the man serving the breakfast. The man serving breakfast on December 30th needs some costumer service clases! Nasty and with a horrible attitude. When I went down to eat breakfast no bread was left… I asked him for more bread and he responded “no more.” I ate cereal and when I was finishing I see him bring out trays with bread, bagels and waffles.

The property was beautiful and was very close to the metro station. A hot breakfast that was tasty every morning was a wonderful perk. the neighborhood was very quiet and seemed very safe. The staff was incredibly helpful and cheerful. We did not need to interact with staff often but even just small interactions were very pleasant and helpful. To check in with such bright and positive staff really set the tone for our stay.

The only downside to our stay was the shower in our room did not drain very quickly and backed up a few times. We were able to wiggle the non removable drain stopper back and forth to get the water to start draining but aside from that everything was wonderful.

The staff were very friendly, especially David at the front desk (he was so nice to our boys). They were renovating the type of room we had booked so they upgraded us to a suite and called in advance to let us know and make sure that was ok. The location is perfect. It was close to a metro stop and the Capitol/Library of Congress. Good restaurants nearby. They have bikes you can use on a first come a first serve basis. Coffee, tea and water in the lobby at all times. It was a great experience for our family.

The continental breakfast left something to be desired. The French toast was still frozen in the middle and if you showed up past 8:30am it looked a little picked over. But it is included so at least there was something offered.

Breakfast room is located in a different building beside the Hotel building, this makes uncomfortable our stay as you are obligated to get out of the building to have breakfast and come back in.

We booked the superior 2 queen suite with full kitchen. Very, very roomy for the price. Full size couch for seating. Dining area and large walk in closet/dressing area. Good variety of choices for a quick start breakfast. Metro is 1 block away and there is a Trader Joe's and CVS about 4 blocks walk or metro will drop you right in front. There are several family friendly restaurants within walking in this lovely, quiet Capitol Hill neighborhood. Excellent hotel with the nicest staff. Highly recommend.

Close to the national mall and next to a train station (blue/orange/silver) lines. direct to DCA and IAD Spacious rooms Clean facilities Staff was nice WiFi exceeded my expectations Breakfast was good Complimentary hot water with tea and honey and coffee

Old building needs renovations Water pressure at the bathroom sink was unacceptable. I had to wash my hands and brush my teeth at the kitchen sink. The bathroom faucet was so short compared to the sink that you couldn't fit your hands below it to wash them. So the combination of being short and with low pressure really annoyed me. The sink/faucet choice is just wrong and not ergonomically wise For the price paid per night you could provide customers with some slippers

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. We got a room in the annex the service was excellent. The room is cozy and spacious. nothing is missing .A good breakfast. Excellent location. Close to the metro, from there a direct line to all sites in the city. The hotel staff from the room attendants, the reception valet service and the dining room were excellent, courteous and ready for any wish or request On the second day we used the free bicycle service offered by the hotel. We got a helmet and the staff made sure to guide us. The valet service was excellent and every time I forgot something in the car he was helpful.

Easy to access, very quiet area, room layout great, all usual amenities, plenty of towels, easy check-in and checkout. Drinks hot water and cold water available 24 hrs.

Coffee maker in room didn’t work, light visible from adjoining (locked double doors) room coming into our closet/bathroom entry area, modern armchair seat difficult to move so 2 could share the desk to eat a meal, power outlet only on one side of bed, bathtub shorter than other tubs, faucet outlet too low into lovely on-cabinet sink makes hand washing difficult.

The location is good, the staff are all excellent, the free breakfast is a plus especially not all hotel in DC has free breakfast. Their valet parking is well protected behind the bldg and it was in a garage. The pricing is good for the location. They also upgraded my sister inlaw’s room next to my room when they figured we’re together.

Wish they add bacon on the breakfast. Elevator is small. The 2nd bldg where we stayed is a lil bit outdated. The other hot plate of the stove we had was not working but not a big deal since the other one works.
