property is under demodulation and they don’t have parking. Their website snd booking say that their is parking available, but when we got their is no parking. They only have VIP parking for $59 a day, park at a near parking garage ($52), or on the side of the street.

The room is a little dated, TV is rather old but it is really no matter if you have a laptop and an HDMI cable to plug into if you want to utilize the TV for entertainment when you are in your room. That being said, it shouldn't matter much for the great location of the hotel itself, I took the MARC train to Union Station, and with the hotel being about 10ish minutes away from the station, it's a short and easy walk. Apart from the distance from Union Station, I was there for Otakon 2024 being held at the Walter E Washington Convention Center which is roughly a 15-minute walk from the hotel but mostly a straight line from and to the hotel which is nice if you can manage to walk it and save a bit of money from getting something even closer to the Convention Center. If you are planning to take the train to DC, I would definitely recommend this hotel just due to the location and overall quality of the hotel, it is a little dated but the staff make up for it. I also got the included breakfast for each day of my stay and it is totally worth it. It covers ordering from the breakfast menu in total for a fraction of the price booking it included with the room and the food quality itself was also exceptional which is unexpected but very much appreciated. I would give this hotel a comfortable low 9, if they were able to revamp the rooms themselves with ceiling lights and update the tech and shower heads (really low-pressure shower heads that just seem prevalent in hotels for some reason) I would give this a higher 9 but in overall consideration, a 9 is still very good.

Low-pressure crappy shower head and really, really slow toilet pressure. The room was a little dated, TV only had satellite channels. No Ceiling lights but adequate lighting sources in the room.

Room was spacious. Requested tub and was provided and made wife happy. Location was in walking distance to circulator bus. Breakfast was great, both daily menu selections and weekend buffet. My advice, pay for the breakfast meals when you book your stay as ala cart breakfast meals would be more expensive. There's no restaurant nearby except for a fast food ZBurger across the street. Weekday room cleaning was excellent.

Weekend room cleaning service needs attention. No towels on Saturday, No bathroom toiletry refills. Bathroom trash not removed on Sunday. No room vacuum on weekend. Room view not appealing. Some front registration personnel need further training on explaining why additional charge made on initial registration. Explanations ranged from it's a tax or cleaning deposit. One of the staff said it's a $50 a night charge that's refundable at the end of stay. I understood that.

Ideal location. 5 minutes walk from Union station. Close to capitol and other landmarks. Rooms were clean. Air conditioning was efficient and silent. Mattress was a bit soft but generally ok. Pillows were very good for my neck. The view was on to the internal area which I didn’t mind as it was very quiet. I didn’t hear any neighbours, either due to their absence or good audio insulation. Breakfast was very good. The reception kindly offered to keep our luggage after check out which was very useful as we planned to go on trip until late afternoon before heading to the train.

The location was excellent, very close to Union station, metro and ciculator bus routes although was walking distance to Capitol Hill. Staff were always friendly and greeted you with a welcome smile. The room was always cleaned and tidy on our return each day and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was silent but very efficient. Plenty of sockets for all our gadgets. The bathroom was huge with loads of room and shelving to put toiletries in. They even gave us a goodie bag as we were staying for so long (5 nights) which suggests it is used for much shorter stays normally.

Nothing to complain about really, maybe better water pressure in the shower but I've been in a lot worse. The huge shower made up for the lack of water pressure.

Classic, good value hotel. Nothing tremendously special about the property except for the cool elevators, but otherwise another trusted, comfortable stay at Hilton. My double room was spacious and well-stocked with towels and amenities. Nothing in the minibar though and no vending machine on the floor. There was, however, room service (which I took advantage of) and a convenience / mart shop right next to the front desk which has a variety of snacks, drinks, misc toiletries/medicine etc. Breakfast was okay. Best feature is its proximity to Union Station (less than a 10min walk)!

I wish the lobby bar were open from noon, not just in the evening. Seems like a missed opportunity.

I've stayed here several times. It's proximity to the train station is ideal, and I walked everywhere. I had an excellent breakfast on site one morning. The multiple elevators always found me immediately. I never had to wait more than 30 seconds. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to DC.

Parking should be free when a customer pays all that money to stay there

The location is very convenient for Capitol Hill and the Library of Congress, but there's not much to see or do in immediate neighborhood. My room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was very nice. Gym was decent.

Only minor issues. The little convenience store in the lobby is great, but charging $8 for a beer is a middle finger to your guests. I also couldn't figure out how to turn on/off some of the bedroom lights.
