All was great and got nothing to complain except the above points.

Don't understand ① why deposit for a 3-night room was so high as 300 dollars which I hope could be returned soon, ② why I received a service folio for "valet parking at 59 dollars" even though we did not drive any car in Washington DC.

Number one was the incredibly friendly staff at this hotel! Always a smile and hello. The room was quite large although a bit sparsely furnished. (a table and chairs would have been nice) The bed and pillows were super comfy though! We did not have the option of free breakfast but the breakfast buffet was quite pricey for what was offered so we chose to eat elsewhere. The Noma neighborhood where the hotel is located is quite nice. Good options for restaurants, and Union Market is a 15 minute walk with lots of good food choices. It is quite a long walk to the various monuments. About an hour to the Washington Monument and 35 minutes to the Capital. We preferred to walk because the traffic is terrible but we did Uber one day and that was no problem. We’re seniors and were able to do the walk. I would say that the hotel is a good value for the price and we would stay there again.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay here whilst in the city for several days. Our room was massive. In the foyer area, the hotel has this free cold/hot drinks and cookies — I totally loved the red velvet cookie and the super cold strawberry water drink. The people in the reception were very nice and helpful, and the housekeeping team were lovely, too! My daughter enjoyed the pool in the 3rd floor and she used it like every night after a long day of strolling around the city. The hotel is near and accessible to everything. It's just about 15 minutes walk from the Union Station, there's a nearest metro behind the hotel, and just beside Harris Teeter Store. Would definitely use this hotel again if ever we'll be able to visit Washington DC again.

The room was spacious and well-furnished. In particular, the large bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet provided several meals. I appreciated the location—close to the Union Market, the Capitol, or the Metro station Noma. A grocery store is just 50 meters away. A restaurant and a bar on the second floor offered a cosy environment for dining or drinking. The hotel was kept clean and in good shape everywhere I visited.

The service at the bar was very slow. I waited 15 minutes to order and another 15 minutes to get my check. I missed a bigger closet in the room to store my clothes.

The room was perfect, and each day the room was clean and ready when we returned from our adventures. The restaurant staff both at breakfast and at dinner were great! After a long day of walking my daughter didn't want to leave to get dinner, so we ate in the restaurant a couple of times and there were sufficient options. The manager was wonderful when I approached him on a billing question. I was impressed that in my short time at the desk he spoke 3 different languages fluently, with different guests and answered my questions. This is the second time we have stayed here during February school vacation week. The location is wonderful, a 3-4 minute walk to the red line METRO which literally gets you anywhere quickly. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Pool is small, but adequate. We'll definitely return!

- Good location. - Comfortable rooms. - Friendly staff. - Comfortable beds. - NoMa subway station is 2 blocks away from the hotel. - 1 minute walk to the nearest supermarket / pharmacy. - Great valet parking service (very nice staff).

We paid for private parking (which is fine because this was mentioned in the hotel's Booking publication, a bit expensive though... $55 + taxes x night), the only thing I have to say about this is that it would be good to have 1 or 2 spots for parking (maybe limited to 15 or 20 mins) when arriving (my wife had to park the car far away from the hotel while I was checking us in. The valets will give you an excellent service, that was not a problem.

Convenience was why we selected it but service is why we will return. This property is a short walk from union station. On the other side of the block is the red line on the metro. Why it will be our go-to for DC trips is due to the wonderful staff. Paul at the front desk answered our every need. He was always helpful and always polite and engaging. The restaurant is way better than one expects in an affordable chain hotel. Lunch and dinner selections are varied and everything tasted great. There is a breakfast buffet or a menu from which to order. Again it was the staff that took great care of us and made sure we were well fed. Our room was squeaky clean. It’s even quiet for being near the heart of the city!

I absolutely loved the greeting I received from the staff upon check-in. Even security was polite and professional. I'm big on cleanliness and checking everything, including behind the commode, behind the hanging bottles of shampoo/conditioner & soap. I also check behind curtains, inside drawers, closets and the linens (each layer). The room was immaculate. I was impressed. The restaurant staff was also engaging and personable while remaining professional. I couldn't hear anyone in the other rooms. Big plus. Waffles, French Toast and Pancakes.

I didn't like that the waffles, French toast and pancakes were not included in the breakfast buffet cost. Not enough to change my rating on the hotel.

we really enjoyed everything ! fantastic food spots nearby and beer garden if you like to watch sports . great TV and film selection. very clean. no hidden costs. very comfortable bed and pillows . great feeling of community in gym and pool area. security was nice and made us feel comfortable. nice amenities / grocery selection downstairs ( with laundry detergent and microwavable meals )

area can turn a little sketchy at night. if you are a lone woman this might be an issue but i felt generally comfortable when walking outside with partner. whilst it is near metro , the metro doesn't link to main federal buildings and historical sites ( therefore we started ordering taxi's)

The hotel is very nice with a cafe, which we didn’t use, but was available if needed. The rooms are large enough and well equipped with refrigerator and microwave. The water gets hot and good shower. Lighting is a lil dem, but good in bathroom. Lots of sunlight when curtains are open. The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. This is a very walkable area to eateries and etc. There is a grocery \pharmacy next door on corner. This hotel is located on a busy street convenient for Uber or Lyft pick up directly in front of hotel. You can walk several blocks up the street from hotel and arrive at Union Station which is a nice place to hang out, shop and eat. There are quite a few franchise eateries and retailers. This is the train station as well. This hotel is also a short walk from the Metro station. I also recommend the King Street Oyster Bar restaurant. We ate there several times. There are a few seemingly homeless/mental illnesses population in the area, but we didn’t encounter any bad experiences. As with any city or anywhere, use good judgment, and avoid sketchy areas. Try to live right and ask ALMIGHTY GOD to lead, guide and care for you. I highly recommend this Hilton Garden in at 1225 1st St. NE. This is the NOMA area. If you visiting the historical sites/National Mall and etc. you will probably want transportation. You can walk, but too far for some.
