All was great and got nothing to complain except the above points.
Don't understand ① why deposit for a 3-night room was so high as 300 dollars which I hope could be returned soon, ② why I received a service folio for "valet parking at 59 dollars" even though we did not drive any car in Washington DC.

A 15-minute walk to Union Station, Capitol, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress. Grocery store and metro stop next door. Excellent service at all levels of staff (front desk, breakfast/ bar, housekeeping)
While breakfast buffet was fine, we felt the $24/person price wasn’t justified given the limited selection day after day. Eggs, bacon/sausage, and roasted potatoes were supplemented with breads/bagels, yogurt, granola, some cereals, and selection of juices. No pancakes, waffles, omelets, or boiled eggs to which we’ve become accustomed at other Hilton facilities. It may seem a trivial detail, but it got old during our 5-day stay.

Number one was the incredibly friendly staff at this hotel! Always a smile and hello. The room was quite large although a bit sparsely furnished. (a table and chairs would have been nice) The bed and pillows were super comfy though! We did not have the option of free breakfast but the breakfast buffet was quite pricey for what was offered so we chose to eat elsewhere. The Noma neighborhood where the hotel is located is quite nice. Good options for restaurants, and Union Market is a 15 minute walk with lots of good food choices. It is quite a long walk to the various monuments. About an hour to the Washington Monument and 35 minutes to the Capital. We preferred to walk because the traffic is terrible but we did Uber one day and that was no problem. We’re seniors and were able to do the walk. I would say that the hotel is a good value for the price and we would stay there again.

Check-in was smooth and welcoming. Lyle, the reception manager, was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and understanding. After a long journey, we truly appreciated the complimentary water in the room and the snacks he kindly offered us from the lobby. Suki at the front desk was also very pleasant, and although Keyri was new and still in training, she was kind and professional—Lyle stepped in to guide her through handling Booking.com reservations, which was great to see. A special thanks as well to Jameh, who was present during our check-in. Security at the hotel was excellent, and the restaurant staff were outstanding throughout our stay. We were placed in two rooms next to each other on the 8th floor, just as requested. The location was fantastic—very close to Noma Station, with a CVS and Harris Teeter nearby. As for breakfast, it was simple but satisfying—everything we needed to start the day.
I have no complaints at all—everything went smoothly. Lyle is truly a superhero! If you need anything, just let him know—he goes above and beyond to ensure you're not left disappointed.

Staff were attentive to our needs. We arrived early and they were happy to store our luggage and park our car until our room was ready later that afternoon.
Staff could of informed us that breakfast buffet was extra cost. We were told you had to let them know you wanted to eat breakfast at the hotel when you made the reservations. Excuse me? For a room that costs $250 a night, breakfast should of been included. Also, for such a large hotel, the lobby was tiny - a few chairs and a couch near the reservation desk. It was very noisy the first morning we were there due to a large group of people checking out.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay here whilst in the city for several days. Our room was massive. In the foyer area, the hotel has this free cold/hot drinks and cookies — I totally loved the red velvet cookie and the super cold strawberry water drink. The people in the reception were very nice and helpful, and the housekeeping team were lovely, too! My daughter enjoyed the pool in the 3rd floor and she used it like every night after a long day of strolling around the city. The hotel is near and accessible to everything. It's just about 15 minutes walk from the Union Station, there's a nearest metro behind the hotel, and just beside Harris Teeter Store. Would definitely use this hotel again if ever we'll be able to visit Washington DC again.

The Hilton touch was there to be seen. They don't disappoint.
The valet parking was a sea of confusion. Everyone had a different idea of how the service ran. It was a charge of $55 per day; if your car was not used during the day, you got an additional charge. What constitutes a day was also up for interpretation. You only find out when you check out that you get additional valet charges. That is my lasting impression of the stay, and I would recommend finding another location for that alone if you drive there.

Room is huge, bed is comfy. Staff are friendly. I forgot his name but the manager who is always at the front desk was really helpful when I had an issue. Location is perfect being close to metro station and easy to get to different places in DC by car. Grocery store a few steps away. Gym has enough for a good workout.
Air conditioning wasn’t working in the room and everyday I did ask for someone to check it. I was told each time an engineer would come, never did and they said they would move me and even did it on the system but never told me to actually move . The manager I mentioned helped me when he found out though. The AC was on it just didn’t change temperature and luckily because I run really cold I could bear it but anyone who needs colder AC would have hated it.

The room was spacious and well-furnished. In particular, the large bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet provided several meals. I appreciated the location—close to the Union Market, the Capitol, or the Metro station Noma. A grocery store is just 50 meters away. A restaurant and a bar on the second floor offered a cosy environment for dining or drinking. The hotel was kept clean and in good shape everywhere I visited.
The service at the bar was very slow. I waited 15 minutes to order and another 15 minutes to get my check. I missed a bigger closet in the room to store my clothes.

The room was perfect, and each day the room was clean and ready when we returned from our adventures. The restaurant staff both at breakfast and at dinner were great! After a long day of walking my daughter didn't want to leave to get dinner, so we ate in the restaurant a couple of times and there were sufficient options. The manager was wonderful when I approached him on a billing question. I was impressed that in my short time at the desk he spoke 3 different languages fluently, with different guests and answered my questions. This is the second time we have stayed here during February school vacation week. The location is wonderful, a 3-4 minute walk to the red line METRO which literally gets you anywhere quickly. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Pool is small, but adequate. We'll definitely return!
