We loved the location of the hotel, I also paid for parking. Which was a plus, we parked our car.It was my Birthday, so we used Uber to get around the DC. We also liked the TreeHouse Rooftop, we sat outside enjoyed the view very relaxing. We will definitely return to your hotel the next time we are in DC. We traveled from Virginia Chesterfield/ Richmond. Traffic was heavy called hotel to inform, we would be arriving past check in time . We arrived at hotel around 8:15pm. Love the ambiance of the hotel , also the breakfast.

Our reservations were from April 18th to the 21st. Upon checking in I informed the receptionist we paid for parking. Decided we were going to use Uber to get around DC.. We were given room #203, upon entering the room , the toilet was filled with feces, the bed unmade room dirty..I took photos returned to check in area. The receptionist apologized and changed us to room #207, also gave us free tickets for 2 margaritas at the Treehouse Rooftop. During the remainder of our stay Receptionist Nadya was very helpful took some Birthday pictures on April 19th in the lobby, before we went out for our 7:30 reservations, while we waited for our Uber driver.

Stayed in a 4 shared dorm. It was just me and this one other guy who seemed to be living there long term Walkable distance to Union Market area and many notable restaurants like St Ansalem, Toki Underground, and Nomad as well as a Trader Joe's, all in a 20~25 min walk distance or 5~10 min drive Parking on weekends is free next to the hostel but not on weekdays Comfortable bed that's actually not flat and pretty good quality after a tired day of walking Artsy lounge and very nature like atmosphere with free wifi and free water

Entrance to hostel is hard to find, no signs to the hostel because it is still a bit new (located right next to Homewood Inn/Hampton Inn) Parking on weekends is free next to the hostel but not on weekdays Workers seem to speak English at an OK level A bit pricey for a 1 night hostel stay compared to rest of the world but that's US

Unfortunately, id ind have breakfast, but I'm sure it would be wonderful. All staff great attention and solving problems in the better way for clients. Spanish spoken and nice overtime. Keep it like that, also great spaces inside the building to enjoy indoors with great company.

The only problem that I had was the spot in parking lot already reserved with previous time. I recommend you check that with staff in advance and be sure to ensure you have it if you pay for it. Only to avoid inconveniences at high times in the night or early morning. Anyway, they offered me solutions for you in near parking lot. Thanks for all the attention during my staying.

Well, this is my 4th time staying here so I guess that means I like the place :-D ...... I love how comfortable the beds and pillows are, and, the overall of the bathrooms.........

The maintenance on the rooms could be better........ the showerhead in the bathroom was loose from the wall, and the TV, as nice as the TV itself was, was on a wall mount that was so questionable that I was afraid to turn the TV around at all for fear of it coming off the wall. Also, I dont like that I have to go all the way to the front desk to get ice for my room, or that there are no ice buckets to do so. I appreciate that the staff is gracious and accommodating in getting it when asked to, though.........

The hotel is so adorable! It's an old seed factory and they really played the theme up. It was warm and homey feeling from the moment you walked in the lobby. I was there in December and the holiday decorations were gorgeous!

When I arrived the lobby there was a couple buying snacks at the desk. After they were done the receptionist walked away. I waited for 5 minutes, there was no one in the lobby but me. It was 8 PM so I think they only had one staff managing the desk. It ended up taking about 30 minutes before I was checked in. When you check in the card key is in a cute seed packet! Again they nailed it with hotel theme! You get a free drink at the roof top bar after checking in. The rooftop bar and view are spectacular! Breakfast starts at 7 AM. The next morning I went to breakfast at 7:05. The staff was late and I never got to eat breakfast before my Uber came at 8. The staff desk told me I could grab anything from the snack area for free, which was very kind.

This was a cute boutique hotel.. I choose to up grade to s standard Queen room, but what I got was a full bed. It was clean and comfortable but not what l paid for as my roommate was tall and we wanted the space. The price for the area was very reasonable ,but parking was full so we had to find some place nearby on the street. Great staff though and would recommend and visit again. So thats why its 4 of 5 stars.

Booking for a queen size bed and getting a much smaller one. I would have still choose a full if queen was sold out or I would have paid a little more If reasonable to accommodate our need.

I did like the hotel and feel. It was funky and the food was pretty good the one time I ate there.

The location is a little far from the metro station, and it did not always feel safe walking to the hotel late at night as you have to go a few blocks past where all the restaurants are and such. I also didn't like that it was hard to get a glass of wine for my room. The restaurant was not open one night, and the lobby would really only sell me a bottle for $40.

The scent in the lobby and throughout the halls is heavenly! (The front desk staff said they get asked often of what the name of the scent/product is) The energy, decor, music and vibe is wonderful. Hotel staff incredibly kind and helpful. The room was exactly what I needed. Great space with well thought-out decor. My window faced a busy street and it was fun to have a view of the skyline and the train going by. The bed was soft and comfy which allowed much-needed rest. :) It was a short and easy walk to/from Songbyrd where I attended an event. I definitely recommend a stay here!

No inhouse coffee available until after 8am :( Entering to the hotel from the adjacent parking garage was a little tricky... the elevators are shared with the key-coded apartment building. I learned from an apartment resident that she has to help direct people to the hotel on a daily basis (as she did with me).

Accommodations were VERY good compared to what I expected. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were CLEAN!! Overall experience with the hotel was better than I was expecting. Found street parking much easier than I thought I would, also.......

Needed a heavier blanket/comforter on the bed (even with the heat turned up, the windows did not retain it well and the room was still a little too cool); need an easier or more defined way of getting ice since there are no guest ice machines (the Front Desk was very accommodating but because there are no ice "buckets", she had to bring it to me in an extra large plastic Ziploc bag); the Body wash dispenser in the shower was broken so I couldn't access the wash; the highway noise was very loud at night (I'm a very heavy sleeper and even I had trouble sleeping thru the night).......

The property was super cute and clean. If you are looking for real spacious rooms this property isn’t for you. The rooms were cute but just enough room to lay your head down. The room we were in had one queen bed and a set of bunk beds and a nice bathroom. Again a great spot to rest after a long day in the city sightseeing. Great roof top bar/restaurant for additional fun.

There wasn’t enough parking g spaces to park next to hotel. You have to park in the public parking garage behind the hotel.
