The staff was very amazing, mainly during the check out. The location is good to take a cab and go to the city, usually it costs around 20 dollars and the car could be parked in the hotel without any cost. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. Good blackout on the windows to ensure privacy.

It is a simple hotel, just for a shower and sleep. Do not expect comfort... It is a place that I would not walk during the night alone, for example, but I feel myself comfortable. Just the door of the room I recommend to be more safe because in many moments I need to check 3/4 times to see if it has been closed.

I visit DC about once a month. The Ivy City Hotel is perfectly location for my needs. The rooms are newly remodeled and look great.

The handicap room that I always stay in 130 needs a rack to hang your clothes on. There's nowhere to hang your clothes but there is a nice dresser to fold them and put them away. I prefer to hang my clothes.

From the beginning of my experience, the staff greeted me and anticipated my needs. I have an injured leg and the desk staff saw this and ensured that the proper accommodations were provided. When I got to my room it was immaculate and stocked with the amenities I needed. My stay at Ivy City Hotel was great!

Excellent location, near from stores, restaurants and bike's stations. Excelent cleaning and good smell. To have a parking lot is a pluss. I felt comfy and safe, I'm so happy to have had good times and a good stay in Ivy City Hotel. I loved lotion and soap, good essence ans smell. I recommend it hundred percent.

Close to Target. Much like Boston, MA. Shady area but keep to yourself and you are good. Kids said they'd stay here again. We had no issues. Just ...I brought my own sheets anyways...

need a little more attention paid to housekeeping. Sheets had cigarette burn holes. Otherwise great

i enjoyed everything about my stay here and my child did too and yes i would recommend to stay here i really like how you dont have people that would come and distrub til its time for check out.....

The staff has always been accommodating. I have a favorite room that I like to get and they seem to put me in that room every time I go. That's good service.

I would recommend that the non-slip strips be put in the shower of the handicap bathroom because of slippery shower floor.

It had a microoven and fridge. Though the location ain't exactly right next door the national mall, you can get there in a 5 minutes drive via Uber, Diddy or Lift. Also, they do not ask you a deposit Whatsoever.

My wife asked for the receptionist to have the room cleaned but they didn't do it fully cause one of the 2 beds was all messed up.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and freshly sanitized. I also liked the fact that there was a security guard on site. That made me feel safer.

I didn't like random men just walking around. I wasn't sure if they were guest or just hanging out. But it was a little creepy . That's why I was glad to see the security guard present.

Fresh paint. Fresh start. You can tell changes have happened recently. All for the good. Comfortable beds. Fridge microwave and iron which most hotels don’t have anymore without extra cost.

More places to hang clothes. The awful remote control was terrible.
