Good sheets, soft. Variety of pillow size and softness. Quiet. Art in lobby! Desk sent up extra tp and Kleenex. Front desk people very professional and personable, on phone and in person. I had surgery for cancer, so the hotel was such a nice respite and a place to begin to recover. Thank you

Room #431. The Keurig machine seemed ancient and was temperamental. We had to hold button down to get coffee to perk and it took a while. Kept kicking off. Microwave was old and very slow. Round glass thing rattled and maybe did not fit right. Fridge had no freezer. All of these were minor. Just everything else seemed elegant, except appliances which were old and cheap. Even a fancy safe! I own nothing that needs a safe, so that made me laugh!!

The room was beautifully updated and the bed was *very* comfortable. The overall ease of navigating the property was helpful when lugging a bunch of luggage. The location was perfect for our needs and having covered parking was a blessing.

There was construction noise that sounded like repetitive tapping through our headboard (probably laying carpet as when entering the garage workers were discarding old carpet). But the sound was non stop from 9:30a on. There was hallway noise from people talking loudly, so no soundproofing. Which is hit or miss with hotel properties. It was our anniversary and so we were given a lovely gift bag; sadly the chocolate was expired and didn’t taste as fresh as it could’ve. But the beverages were lovely and the gesture was appreciated.

Overall great hotel and room amenities, very clean and everything looked like it had been recently upgraded or was on the newer side. Great location in the Capitol Hill area. Staff were very professional and helpful.

Would have loved for the room to have a kettle or a microwave. The POS at reception was unable to accept payment (on a non-US credit card) - they had to send me an online payment link. Would have preferred that they were able to process a Visa payment more easily, regardless of country of issue (Canada).

I had a pleasant stay at the Silver Cloud hotel in Seattle. It's located in a quiet area, which is surprising for the city, and has good amenities. The hotel is conveniently situated near public transportation and Whole Foods. While breakfast isn't included, there's the on-site Jimmy's restaurant and numerous other options nearby. The staff was incredibly welcoming. Despite a late arrival and a room mix-up, they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I ended up with a lower-level room than booked, as all king rooms were already assigned. Being tired from a 17-hour flight, I agreed, assuming the price would be adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, which was my mistake for assuming. However, the team made me feel valued by sending some welcome treats to my room, which I appreciated. One thing I wasn't aware of beforehand was the 25% deposit required upon check-in. This is a hold on your card, but it significantly impacted my travel budget (around $500) and was only released 48 hours after my return home. This policy differs from other hotels I've stayed in, both in the US and Europe. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Silver Cloud and wanted to share my experience, including both the positives and the unexpected aspects.

We needed a last minute room for an appointment at Swedish Hospital. We found this and it was a good price. I kept my key because I thought my child might want to lay down after the procedure. We took our small overnight bag with us, and when I saw we were going to still be at the hospital past the 12 noon check-out I called and asked if she could check me out by phone and I could walk the keys down later. She said she could and no need to come back to the hotel. Super close walk to the hospital. Nice-looking restaurant, although we didn't eat there as we got in from the ferry too late.

Can't think of anything.

We had the whirlpool room with the fireplace. Absolutely LOVED the room. Accommodations and cleanliness, cleaning staff and hotel staff were professional and exceeded our expectations. While at the hotel all guests received a message from the GM regarding temporary local activity he was attending to immediately. It was well versed and comforting that he was wholly attentive. We stated to each other multiple times through our stay how much we enjoyed the hotel, amenities and room. We'll be returning, if not to the same location one of the partner Silver Cloud hotels.

Cost of parking we didn't like; however, we were in the midst of the city and the parking lot under the building was clean and secure.

Varietal lighting in the room was spectacular, as were seating options. Beds were comfortable. Location was decent and relatively quiet. Added sink in the bar/mini-fridge area was great to have.

Shower was very hard, intense water pressure that could not be adjusted. Pillows were lumpy and too thick. Coffee was rather mediocre for a city renowned for their good coffee.

The Staff here is always friendly. It's very clean and easily walkable

The restaurant could have better food and portions. I would not eat here again. The staff was amazing though. But the price for the food and the portions vs everywhere else in Seattle was very disappointing. Also a disappointing bar selection. It goes from well to top shelf. No mid. That's definitely a way to lose money as a bar especially when there are other bars around.

The room was nice, very clean. The mattress was so comfortable and the many pillows were very soft and cozy. The view wasn't spectacular, just the courtyard. Ice was delicious, easy to chew(I love good ice).

Coffee was horrible. Only 2 little creams and they could not save the taste of that coffee. The green tea was good, at least hot and swallowable. I took a bath and the shower kept a steady stream of water splashing down on me. Wasn't pleasant.

NIce room and the bed was comfortable.

The toilet was running every five minutes. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance. He checked it and said everything was ok. After he left it continued to run so I called the front desk again. Maintenance returned and he said he put in a new seal. That helped a bit but it was still running. When I flushed it I usually had to flush twice as there was not enough water for it to flush properly the first time.
